O tema da devoração é abordado por Lacan desde o Seminário 3. No Seminário 4, ele está diretamente relacionado ao Desejo da Mãe sobre a criança e à intervenção do Nome-do-Pai, que barra a mãe de tomar o filho como objeto de seu desejo. Nesse trabalho, apresentaremos um fragmento clínico de um menino de doze anos que, através de sua agitação nomeada de TDAH, tenta frustradamente criar um campo entre ele e a mãe. Dessa forma, apontaremos tal sintoma como uma fragilidade do Nome-do-Pai diante do “devorador” Desejo da Mãe. O corpo que se movimenta em excesso e a falta de interesse por tudo dizem respeito ao sofrimento do menino que, de alguma maneira, tenta se proteger das demandas maternas que lhe são feitas.

The theme of devouring has been studied by Lacan since the third Seminar. In the fourth Seminar, it is directly related to the mother’s desire towards the child and the intervention of the Name-of-the-Father that bars the mother from taking the child as an object of her desire. In this paper we present a fragment of the clinic of a twelve year old boy who, through his frenzy defined as ADHD frustratingly tries to create a field between him and the mother. This way we will present this symptom as a point of fragility in the Name-of-the-Father when faced with the desire of the devouring mother. The excessively moving body and a lack of interest in everything are related to the suffering of the boy trying to protect himself somehow against the motherly demands.

Le thème de la dévoration est approché par Lacan à partir Seminaire 3. Dans le Seminaire 4, il est directement liée au Désir de la Mère envers l'enfant et à l’intervention du Nom du Père, qui interdit la mère de prendre l'enfant comme un objet de son désir. Dans cet article, nous présentons un fragment clinique d'un garçon de douze ans qui, par son agitation nommée TDA, tente désespérément de créer un champ entre lui et sa mère. Ainsi, nous considérons ce symptôme comme une faiblesse du Nom du Père par rapport au “dévoreur” Désir de la Mère. Le corps qui se bouge en excès et le manque d'intérêt pour tout ont rapport à la souffrance de l'enfant qui, en quelque sorte, tente se protéger contre les demandes maternelles.
