ABSTRACT

@#Objective To compare the spray characteristics of domestic and foreign nasal spray delivery devices for live attenuated influenza vaccine(LAIV). Methods The particle size distribution(DV10,DV50 and DV90),the proportion of droplets smaller than 10 μm and Span of atomized particles of two brands of nasal spray delivery devices at home and abroad were measured by laser diffraction method, the spray pattern[maximum diameter(D_(max)),shortest diameter(D_(min))and ovality(D_(max)/D_(min))]and spray geometry(spray angle and width)were detected by Spray view, and the comparative analysis was performed. Results There was no significant difference in DV10,DV50,DV90 particle size distribution, proportion of droplets smaller than 10 μm and Span of atomized particles between the two kinds of domestic and foreign nasal spray delivery devices[F-values of Levene's test for equality of variances were 0. 622,0. 135,3. 067,0. 212 and 0. 058,P-values were0. 434,0. 714,0. 085,0. 647 and 0. 810,and significance(two-tailed)values of equal variances assumed were 0. 439,0. 228,0. 281,0. 539 and 0. 910,respectively];D_(max),D_(min)and ovality of the spray patterns showed no significant difference[F-values of Levene's test for equality of variances were 2. 102,2. 666 and 0. 514,P-values were 0. 158,0. 114 and0. 479,and significance(two-tailed)values of equal variances assumed were 0. 651,0. 407,and 0. 160,respectively];The geometric mean ratios of spray angle and width were 0. 92 and 0. 91,respectively,which ranged from 0. 90 to 1. 11.Conclusion Both the domestic and foreign nasal spray delivery devices meet the delivery requirement of the nasal spray LAIV,which can be used for the delivery of nasal spray vaccines and drugs.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To analyze the clinical effect and evaluation of an efficient and rapid drug-delivery device of anus and intestine surgery. Methods:The clinical data of a total of 110 patients with anorectal disease were analyzed and all of them were divided into observation group (55 cases) and control group (55 cases) according to whether adopted drug-delivery device. The observation group adopted drug-delivery device and control group didn't adopted this device. The clinical effect and cross infection rate of the two groups were observed and compared. The pain feel of patients were assessed as visual analogue scale and the quality of life (QOL) of patients were assessed as simple formula (SF-36) of living quality of Boston institute for health of USA.Results:The times for edema regression and wound healing, the extinction times of transudation and pain of the surface of wound in the observation group were■of follow-up for all of patients indicated the total score of QOL of observation group (83.54±14.49 points) was significantly higher than that (65.40±13.31 points) of control group (t=6.8375, P<0.05) .Conclusion:The application of an efficient and rapid drug-delivery device of anus and intestine surgery can contribute to accelerate wound healing of patients, and alleviate pain and reduce the occurrence of cross-infection, and improve the patients'QOL.Therefore, it has higher value in popularization and application.

ABSTRACT

Neuroimmune interactions underlying the development of pain sensitization in models of neuropathic pain have been widely studied. In this study, we evaluated the development of allodynia and its reduction associated with peripheral antineuroinflammatory effects induced by a dexamethasone-loaded biodegradable implant. Chronic constriction injury (CCI) of the sciatic nerve was performed in Wistar rats. The electronic von Frey test was applied to assess mechanical allodynia. The dexamethasone-loaded implant was placed perineurally at the moment of CCI or 12 days after surgery. Dorsal root ganglia (DRG; L4-L5) were harvested and nuclear extracts were assayed by Western blot for detection of nuclear factor (NF)-κB p65/RelA translocation. Dexamethasone delivered from the implant delayed the development of allodynia for approximately three weeks in CCI rats when the implantation was performed at day 0, but allodynia was not reversed when the implantation was performed at day 12. NF-κB was activated in CCI rat DRG compared with naïve or sham animals (day 15), and dexamethasone implant inhibited p65/RelA translocation in CCI rats compared with control. This study demonstrated that the dexamethasone-loaded implant suppresses allodynia development and peripheral neuroinflammation. This device can reduce the potential side effects associated with oral anti-inflammatory drugs.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To discuss the effect of shuanghuangbu delivery device on the regeneration of the experimental periodontium. Methods:The second incisor and the canine of four beagle dogs were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group.Shuanghuangbu was applied to periodontal defect in the experimental group and no disposition to periodontal defect in the control group. The specimens were respectively obtained in one month and three months after operation and then observed.Furthermore, the height of new bone and cementum formation and the length of junctional epithelium were measured in the two groups. Results:The heights of new bone and cementum regeneration in the experimental group were extremely bigger than those in the control group on one month and three months postoperatively ( P 0.05).Conclusion:Shuanghuangbu can obviously promote the new bone and cementum formation, restrain the migration of junctional epithelium and enhance the regeneration of periodontal tissue.
