ABSTRACT
As a most effective monomer composition from bark of Pacific Yew,paclitaxel and its derivatives are used in clinical practice as broad spectrum anticancer drugs.Since its discovery in the 1970 s,many researches had been carried out,mainly focusing on the modification,structure-activity relationship and pharmacological activity.The great successes pressed ahead the development of a series of taxol-like drugs,including taxol,docetaxel,cabazitaxel,larotaxel.Nowadays,studies of taxol are still the hotpots,which concentrated on the new source such as cultivation of tissue,fungus culture and new dosage forms.As the representative of drugs research from natural source,taxol is worth to be summarized of its history and ongoing development for looking forward to bring new innovation mentality in new drugs.

The quality control of Chinese materia medica (CMM) has been the focus of the modernization of CMM, while the screening of efficient constituents in CMM provides the prerequisite and foundation for quality control. Numerous methods had been used for studying the efficient constituents in CMM, but still in the exploratory stage. It still needs to be developed in theory and systemic integration. This article reviewed the development of CMM, analyzed the screening ideas, component compatibility, and quality control mode of the existing efficient components in CMM, for seeking the efficient components in CMM from the complex component groups and building the research ideas of compatibility relations. Its main aim was to provide the reference for the construction of the follow-up quality evaluation system to recognize the key efficient components of CMM precisely and quickly, and to meet with the requirements that the quality control standards for CMM would be effectiveness-related, quantitative and accurate, controllable and assessable.

Objective] Summarize the origin, formation and development of cosmetology in traditional Chinese medicine, study or revise the history of traditional Chinese medical cosmetology subject. [Method] Refer to history and literature of medicine and historical data. [Result] Ancient Chinese traditional medical cosmetology has a long history of origin and development. Although it did not form its own disciplinary system, its valuable historical data and extensive clinical experience have established solid theoretical and practical foundation for contemporary traditional Chinese medical cosmetology. It has remarkable research value. [Conclusion] Recognize and understand the development history of traditional Chinese medical cosmetology at each stage, so as to provide valuable reference and historical data for clinical and research personnel, as well as to make contribution to the establishment and development of traditional Chinese medical cosmetology subject.
