ABSTRACT
Objective:To explore the management effect of information nurses in the reception of new surgical instruments and to provide a reference for improving the quality of instrument management in central sterile supply department.Methods:This was a quasi-experimental study. A total of 45 packages of 227 pieces received from January to July 2021 in central sterile supply department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University were selected as the control group by convenience sampling method, and the conventional mode was used to receive new surgical instruments. Another 51 packages of 259 pieces received from November 2021 to June 2022 were selected as the observation group, and the information nurse management system was set up to receive new surgical instruments. The observation and comparison of the time to complete the receipt of new surgical instruments in central sterile supply department, the incidence of adverse events in the operation process and the satisfaction of medical and nursing staff with the management of new surgical instruments were conducted.Results:The receiving time for newly added surgical instruments of the observation group was 6.00(5.00, 8.00) hours and that of the control group was 28.00(20.00, 42.50) hours, with a statistically significant difference between the two groups ( Z = - 8.26, P<0.01). The incidence of adverse events of new surgical instruments was 0.4%(1/259) in the observation group and 6.2%(14/227) in the control group, there was significant difference between the two groups ( χ2 = 13.52, P<0.01). The satisfaction degree of medical staff in the observation group was 100% (50/50), higher than 72% (36/50) in the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant ( χ2 = 16.28, P<0.01). Conclusions:The implementation of the post of information nurse in the special post responsibility system in the management of new surgical instruments can effectively manage the specifications of surgical instruments, reduce the receiving time and the occurrence of adverse events, improve the satisfaction of medical staff.
ABSTRACT
Objective To explore the application of post setting and performance management in the central sterile supply.Methods The study was introduced on January 1,2015,for a period of one year,and ended on December 31,2015.56 staffs in sterile supply center were divided into four levels and three levels to develop their duties,theory and skills training,and comparative analysis of the results of training was done;on the other hand,quantitative performance evaluation standards were developed.Comparison of work quality and self evaluation,theoretical and practical assessment,and satisfaction rate in clinical departments was done.Results Before and after the intervention for 12 months statistics,it is found that,in post setting and performance management in the implementation of post-intervention compared with the pre-intervention in the center,the quality and efficiency and the overall quality of staff,the department satisfaction has improved significantly,and the difference is statistically significant (P＜0.05).After the intervention,high quality and efficiency staff in Disinfection Supply Center increases from 14.29％ up to 80.36％,and the effect is significant.After intervention,excellent rate of staff assessment theory and skills assessment at different levels increases by 20％ ～ 50％.Satisfaction Degree of clinical departments increases from about 65％ before intervention to 80％ and above after intervention.Conclusion Post setting and performance management helps to improve disinfection center staff's enthusiasm,and improve job performance continuously to improve and enhance the overall quality of the staff.
ABSTRACT
Objective To investigate the effect of fine management in disinfection and sterilization of surgical instruments in Disinfection Supply Center. Method The surgical instrument sterilization and disinfection pass rate differences and operating room personnel satisfaction were investigated. Result The pass rate of disinfection and sterilization in surgical instruments of observation group was 100.0%, the surgeon satisfaction in using surgical instruments was 99.7%. Conclusion Application of fine management in sterilization of surgical instruments in disinfection supply center can improve the passing rate of the sterilization, improve the satisfaction of the surgical staff, and also to ensure the quality of the surgical instrument in sterilization, reduce the risk of infection in patients, protect patient safety, which is worth further clinical application.

Objective:To investigate the ultrasonic cleaning machine in the equipment derusting effect of.Methods: Rusty instrument as rust 600, were randomly divided into two groups, experimental group (n=305) and control group (n=295). The first device in according to 1:270 proportion of organic pollutants in multi enzyme cleaning solution good, the experimental group will rust instrument containing stainless steel basket, in according to the proportion of 1:7(water temperature is 60℃) ultrasonic cleaning machine solution rust agent by ultrasound in 10 minutes, with a soft brush to wash; the control group will instrument in the water temperature in 60℃, solution rust agent 1:7 mixing ratio, non constant temperature for 10 minutes using a soft bristle brush. Observe and record the two rust rust indicators, and analysis.Results: The naked eye visual two groups of instruments derusting pass rate was not statistically significant (P<0.05); microscopy (5 times the magnifying glass) experimental group equipment derusting pass rate was significantly higher than that of the control group, there were significant difference between two groups (P<0.001); total flexibility in experimental group was significantly better than the instruments the control group, there were significant difference between two groups (P<0.001).Conclusion: The rusty instrument in a constant temperature of 60℃ plus ultrasonic cleaning descaling effect, improves the equipment clean quality and overall flexibility.

1.0,achieved the standard request of Disinfection Technology standard.RESULTS Through EOW disinfection,the bacteria were not found on the object surfac of transports and conformed to the object surface disinfection request of Disinfection Technology Standard.CONCLUSIONS Applying EOW to disinfection of polluted instrument recycling vehicle for clinical purpose can fulfill the State standards completely;EOW has strongly germicidal activity,also with characteristics as rapidity,safety and environment security,without any irritant odor.These results indicate a widely potential use of EOW as in hospital disinfection supply center,especially,with a positive significance in health care for pediatric patients.

OBJECTIVE To explore the value of the continuous quality improvement(CQI) in the quality control of disinfection supply center.METHODS The CQI was applied to every aspect of disinfection supply center.We analyzed and identified the reason of the existence of quality problems,and took CQI measures and the implementaion of quality improvement.RESULTS After 5 years CQI,quality control of disinfection supply center had been remarkably improved.The harmony had increased among staff year by year.The professional knowledge rose from 60% to 100%,the rate of monitoring raised from 70% to 100%,the pass rate of sterilized package raised from 55% to 95%,the satisfaction rate of the relevant sections raised from 85% to 100%.The errors and accidents were eliminated or reduced owing to pay attention to quality control.CONCLUSIONS CQI plays an important role on medical service safety and can effectively improve the medical safety,medical quality and service quality.
