ABSTRACT

Tamil Nadu transport department has rolled out a scheme that allows women to travel with' free tickets' in regular megacity motorcars. After swearing in as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister on May 7, 2021,M.K. Stalin blazoned a scheme that enables all working women in the State to travel free of cost in government- possessed megacity and city motorcars with immediate effect. Since a concrete description has not been given for the term ' working women ', every woman would qualify as a devisee in this scheme. The main intention behind this scheme is to increase the work participation rate of women and to promote public transportation. Since there's no restriction on the number of passages a day or month, it appears to be a simple and straight forward scheme of open- concluded subventions for trip by women. generally, the design was inspired to empower women in a manly- centric society. The Tamil Nadu government itself has blazoned the purpose of this scheme is to increase the mobility of women. At the end of the ?rst time, the scheme reportedly increased the exodus of women and their savings. Tamil Nadu is a colonist in enforcing innovative free programmes for the weal of people. before, the Tamil Nadu government handed gifts, especially to people living below the poverty line. Some electronic goods are also handed to enhance their pro?table and educational development. Now, some schemes have changed beyond the conception. Simply put together, women's participation in stipend is limited by socio- pro?table and artistic problems and asymmetries in the labour request occasion structure. An important factor in this is their mobility( societal participation), i.e. access to dependable and safe transportation systems to education and workplaces. motorcars are the lifeblood of utmost of the scholars and working women across Tamil Nadu similar as external womanish workers, health professionals, biddies, labourers, ?orists, womanish guards or preceptors. In fact, free trip encouraged further women to use public transportation, adding their presence in public places. supposedly, this increased security in the community and brought further women out of their homes and indulge in social events too. ultimately, there's also an critical need to introduce trip concessions for scholars, women, ambisexual people, else- abled and the senior across India

ABSTRACT

Context: Early childhood caries is one of the most widespread diseases affecting children in urban and rural India. Community health workers can bring about a quantum of change in improving the oral health in children. Aims: The aim of the study was to assess the impact of oral health training imparted to Anganwadi and accredited social health activist (ASHA) workers on improving the oral hygiene of 148 children aged 1–6 years. Settings and Design: The preintervention followed by oral health training and postintervention assessment were done at three Anganwadi and ASHA centers of Rajasthan. Methodology: The preintervention data included Decayed, Missing, and Filled Teeth/decayed, extracted, and filled teeth, oral hygiene indices (Oral Hygiene Index-Simplified [OHI-S] and Oral Hygiene Index Simplified-Modified [OHIS-M]), plaque index, and caries activity using Oratest. The oral health training consisted of PowerPoint presentations, video presentations, live demonstrations on brushing technique, rinsing, plaque disclosure, and flossing technique. They were enlightened on deleterious oral habits, emergency protocol on trauma, etc. The postintervention data included outcome measures consisting of oral hygiene indices (OHI-S and OHIS-M), plaque index, and Oratest after 2 months to evaluate the impact of training. Statistical Analysis used: The data were analyzed using Chi-square test, Fisher's exact test, independent t-test, paired t-test, and one-way analysis of variance test. Results: There was a significant improvement in toothbrushing practices and rinsing (P < 0.05). There was a significant difference in debris index, calculus index, OHI-S/OHIS-M, plaque index, and Oratest after intervention (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Empowering Anganwadi and ASHA workers can be a feasible approach in India, where oral health is not a priority in primary health care as yet.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the relationships among psychological empower, role stressors and job burnout in nurses.Methods From February to October of 2014, by random sampling method, 420 nurses from three hospitals of Jinzhou city of Liaoning province were selected and assessed with the psycho-logical empower questionnaires,the job burnout questionnaire,role stressors questionnaire.The data were ana-lyzed using pearson correlation analysis and logical multiple linear regression analysis.Results The average score of job burnout was (59.58±18.30) points, the average score of psychological empower was (38.87±7. 05) points.Job burnout and each dimension were negative correlated with self-determination of the psycho-logical empower ( r=-0.25--0.34, P<0.05) and self-efficacy ( r=-0.08--0.53, P<0.05).The scores of role stressors were positively correlated with the scores of emotional exhaustion( r=0.17-0.43, P<0.05) and cynicism ( r=0.07-0.46, P<0.05) .Multiple regression analysis showed that age(β=-0.104) ,education lev-el(β=-0.237),seniority(β=-0.334),self-determination(β=-0.152),self-efficacy(β=0.127),role am-biguity(β=0.284),role overload(β=0.325) were influencing factors of nursing burnout.Conclusion -Nurses role stressors and psychological empower can predict nurses’ burnout, so nurse managers can in-crease the level of authority to relieve psychological job burnout by reducing caregiver stress source.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To study the tooth movement in the orthodontic treatment by Empower appliance following tooth extraction. Methods:40 cases with bimaxillary dentoalveolar protrusion were divided into 2 groups(n =20).After extraction of all first premolars of each case,the patients were treated by Empower appliance and Damon3-Mx appliance respectively without palatal enhance measure. Before and after treatment the patients were examined by cephalometric roentgengraphy with 1 9 measurements,the data were analysed by independent sample t test.Results:Tooth indicators∠UI-SN,∠UI-PP,∠L1 -MP,∠U1 -L1 ,UIE-PTV and LIE-PTV before and after the treatment in each group,and the variations between the 2 groups were significantly different(P 0.05).Conclusion:Empower appliance is more effective than Damon3-Mx in the treatment of bimaxillary dentoalveolar protrusion by anterior tooth torque control,upper and lower front teeth adduction and improvement of soft tissue lateral profile.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the relationship among psychological empower,role stressors and job burnout in doctors.Methods According to convenience sampling principle,350 doctors were selected and assessed with the job burnout scale (MBI-GS),the psychological empower scale and role stressors scale.Results The scores of meaning(10.80±3.12) and self-determination (9.33 ± 3.19) were negatively correlated with the scores of job burnout (r value was from-0.28 to-0.47,P<0.01),the scores of self-efficacy(11.42±2.67)were negatively correlated with the scores of cynicism (1.61 ± 1.21)and reduced personal accomplishment (3.62±1.51)(r=-0.23,-0.51,P<0.01),and the scores of impact(8.04±3.18) were negatively corrclated with the scores of emotional exhaustion(1.89±1.19) and cynicism(r=-0.17,-0.25,P<0.01).The scores of role stressors were positively correlated with the scores of emotional exhaustion and cynicism(r=0.15-0.45,P<0.01),and the scores of role ambiguity(19.09±3.76) were positively correlated with the scores of reduced personal accomplishment (r=0.42,P<0.01).The self-efficacy and self-determination can negatively predict job burnout(P<0.01) ;the role overload(15.24±4.62) and role ambiguity can positively predict job burnout(P<0.01).Conclusion Psychological empower and role stressors are closely related with job burnout,and have significantly predictive effects on job bumout.
