Objective To analyse the significance and relation between soluble P-selectin (sP-selectin),D-dimer (D-d) and endotoxin (ET) in the patient with obstructive jaundice (OJ). Methods Blood plasma sP-selectin and D-d in OJ group,acute cholecystitis group and healthy group were detected by ELISA and ET was detected by the colorimetric method, Results In healthy group,the concentration of blood plasma sP-selectin was ( 93.43 ? 17.65 ) ng/ml,ET(0.0030?0.0004)EU/ml,and D-d(0.39?0.21)mg/L; in acute cholecystitis group,sP-selectin was (233.32?82.12) ng/ml, ET(0.4012?0.1506) EU/ml,and D-d(0.76?0.27)mg/L; in OJ group,sP-selectin was (351.90?93.83) ng/ml ,ET (0.3814?0.1430)EU/ml,and D-d(2.14?0.37)mg/L.The sP-selectin, D-d and ET in the acute cholecystitis group and the OJ group were higher than those in healthy group (P 0.05). sP-selectin and D-d in the OJ group were significantly higher than that in the acute cholecystitis group (P

Objective To evaluate the effect of a bioartificial liver (BAL) system for treatment of acute liver failure (ALF) in canines and its relationship to serum endotoxin. Methods ALF was induced by end-side portocaval shunt combined with common bile duct ligation and transection. Ten ALF canines were distributed to BAL group (n=5), or to a control group (n=5). Each BAL circulation lasted 5h. Serum endotoxin, alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and total bilirubin (TB) before establishment of ALF model, pre-circulation and post-circulation were determined. Results Serum endotoxin level was 0.284 EU/ml, 0.526 EU/ml and 0.416 EU/ml before establishment of ALF model, and pre-circulation and post-circulation in BAL group, respectively. Objective To study the effect of hyperbaric oxygen(HBO) treatment on plasma endotoxin,sCD14 and plasma endotoxin inactivation capacity(EIC) in acute necrotizing pancreatitis(ANP) in rats and its possible mechanism.Methods SD rats were randomly divided into control group,sham operation group,ANP group and ANP+HBO group.Rat ANP models were made by retrograde injection of 3.5% sodium(taurocholate)(2.5mL/kg) into the pancreatic duct.Thirty minues after models had been made,ANP+HBO group was treated by hyperbaric oxygen for 2h.At 3h,6h,and 10h after establishment of rat models,the plasma endotoxin,sCD14,EIC,TXB_2 and 6-K-PGF_(1a) leves were determined in each group.Results At 3h and 6 h after rat models were established,the levels of endotoxin,sCD14,and TXB_2 in ANP+HBO group were significantly lower than those in ANP group(P
