ABSTRACT
Se describe el caso clínico de un paciente que presentaba una fístula cervical de la línea media, con 2 orificios: uno externo en la región hioidea y otro en el espacio supraclavicular izquierdo que se correspondía con el mismo proceso morboso, lo cual fue confirmado posteriormente al efectuar la extirpación en el Hospital Clinicoquirúrgico Docente "Dr. Joaquín Castillo Duany" de Santiago de Cuba, donde fuera atendido el afectado. Conforme a los resultados anatomopatológicos, se diagnosticó finalmente una fístula tiroglosa con una prolongación al espacio supraclavicular.
The case report of a patient who presented with a cervical fistula of midline, with 2 holes: an external hole in the hyoid region and another in the left supraclavicular space that corresponded to the same disease process is described, which was later confirmed by removing it in "Dr. Joaquín Castillo Duany" Clinical Surgical Teaching Hospital of Santiago de Cuba, where the patient was attended. According to pathological results, a thyroglossal fistula with a prolongation to the supraclavicular space was finally diagnosed.
