ABSTRACT
Neste artigo são apresentadas informações sobre a produção científica em 2007 - ano de criação da Gerência de Pesquisa da Diretoria de Desenvolvimento Estratégico e Pesquisa - e sua evolução em 2008, com aumento de 54%. Destaca-se também que a FHEMIG é a quinta instituição de Minas Gerais com maior número de projetos de pesquisa aprovados no SISNEP e a primeira destas que não tem ensino e pesquisa como atividade principal. Apresentam-se algumas ações realizadas pela gerência de pesquisa para fomentar a produção institucional.
In this paper data related to FHEMIG scientific production in 2007 - year of establishment of the Research Management of Strategic Development and Research Board - and its evolution in 2008 are presented with an observed increase of 54%. Indeed, it may be noted that FHEMIG is now the fifth institution in Minas Gerais State considering SISNEP research projects approved and it is the first one which has not research and learning as main activities. Some actions proposed by the Research Management are presented in order to foment the institutional research.
