Crianças em acolhimento institucional: dificuldades e possibilidades para a reinserção familiar / Institutionalized children: difficulties and possibilities for family reintegration

Este artigo investigou as dificuldades e possibilidades no processo de reinserção familiar de crianças de zero a sete anos que estiveram acolhidas em uma instituição no período de junho de 2015 a julho de 2016, em Belém/PA. Para a coleta de dados utilizou-se o formulário de caracterização da criança e a ficha de reintegração familiar, por meio da pesquisa documental. Os dados foram analisados quantitativamente por meio da estatística descritiva. Os resultados apontam que é urgente a necessidade da produção de estudos que abordem a reinserção a fim de contribuir na reflexão da prática das instituições de acolhimento e o aprimoramento das políticas públicas.

This article investigated the difficulties and possibilities in the family reintegration process of children from zero to seven years old who were admitted to an institution from June 2015 to July 2016, in Belém / PA. For the data collection, the child's characterization form and the family reintegration form were used, through documentary research. Data were quantitatively analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results indicate that there is an urgent need to produce studies that address reinsertion in order to contribute to the reflection of the practice of the host institutions and the improvement of public policies.

Voltando pra casa: a experiência do acolhimento institucional e os impactos na família / Coming home: the experience of institutional care and the impacts on family

A família é reconhecida socialmente como sinônimo de cuidado e pertencimento. Na impossibilidade de assegurar tal cuidado, cabe ao Estado garanti-lo através de medidas de proteção, como o acolhimento institucional. Trata-se de uma medida excepcional e provisória que visa a reinserção familiar frente a mudanças no contexto. Neste estudo qualitativo foram entrevistadas cinco famílias com histórico de acolhimento institucional. Buscou-se compreender os significados atribuídos por elas acerca desta experiência e os impactos do retorno gerados neste sistema. Os dados foram analisados através da Análise de Conteúdo proposta por Bardin. Os resultados apontam que a experiência do acolhimento institucional foi retratada pelas famílias como positiva e como possibilidade de superação. A reinserção familiar da criança foi percebida por mudanças no sistema, principalmente, nos relacionamentos entre os membros e com o filho reintegrado. Assim, o retorno da criança ao lar foi caracterizado como uma nova oportunidade para a família desempenhar seus papéis.(AU)

The family is socially recognized as a synonym for care and belonging. Front to inability to provide such care, is responsability of the State guarantee it through the application of protective measures, such as Institutional Care. This is an exceptional and temporary measure aimed at family reintegration front to changes in context. In this qualitative study were interviewed five families with Institutional Care history. It sought to understand the meanings attributed to them about this experience and the impacts of return generated in this system. Data were analyzed using content analysis proposed by Bardin. The results show that the experience of the Institutional Care was portrayed by families as positive and as a possibility of overcoming. The child's family reintegration was perceived by changes in the system, especially in relationships between the members and the son reintegrated. Thus, the return of the child at home was featured as a new opportunity for the family to play their roles.(AU)
