ABSTRACT
[Objective] To establish a method for the determination of ferulic acid and salvianolic acid B contents in Yixin Tablets. [Methods] High pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC) was adopted. The chromatographic conditions were: 100-fold methanol as solvent, Bonification for 30min, gradient elution on C18 comlumn with acetonitrile and phosphoric acid as mobile phase, the detection wavelength being 320nm. [Results] Ferulic acid had a good linearity in the range of 0.024 32 - 0.729 60 ?g and r=0.999 9; salvianolic acid B had a good linearity in the range of 0.416 8-12.504 0?g and r = 0.9999; the average recovery rate was 100.95% in ferulic acid and 99.35% in salvianolic acid B respectively. [Conclusion] This method is simple, accurate and with good reproducibility.
ABSTRACT
Objective To establish a method for the content determination of ferulic acid in Bogu Pill(BP). Methods Ferulic acid was obtained by ultrasonic extraction at room temperature and detected by HPLC. HPLC was performed with ODS chromatographic column, methanol-acetonitrile-1%acetic acid(15: 15: 70) as mobile phase and detection wavelength at 323 nm. Results The linearity of ferulic acid was in the range of 0.56 ?g~11.20 ?g/mL(r=0.9996), and the average recovery was 100.26%, RSD=1.48%. Conclusion This method was efficient and can be used for the quality control of BP.

Objective To control the quality of Huoxue Quyu syrup,the content of Ferulic acid was determined by RP -HPLC.Methods Ferulic acid was separated on C18column.Methanol -water -acetic acid(40∶60∶2)was used as mobile phase and the detecting wavelength at 322nm.Results The linearity of Ferulic acid was in t he range of 10~40?g?mL -1 (r =0.9997,n=5);the average recovery was 99.52%with RSD being 0.58%(n=5).Conclusion The method is simple and rapid and can be used for controlling the quality o f Huoxue Quyu syrup.
