ABSTRACT
El aislamiento absoluto es un procedimiento clínico que contribuye a mejorar los procederes en la operatoria dental, rehabilitación, odontopediatría y endodoncia, pues propicia un ambiente adecuado para los materiales de restauración, así como en la seguridad del paciente. Con el fin de promover su uso en la práctica se realizó una revisión bibliográfica que incluye la historia, elementos del aislamiento absoluto, recomendaciones y evidencia científica sobre su uso.
Absolute isolation is a clinical procedure that contributes to improve procedures in the dental operative, rehabilitation, Odontopediatrics and Endodontics, because it propitiates an appropriate atmosphere for the restoration materials, as well as in the patient's security. With the purpose of promoting their use in practice a literature review was carried out that includes the history, elements of the absolute isolation, recommendations and scientific evidence on their use.

Se presenta un producto informático, útil como herramienta de apoyo en el aprendizaje del método para la confección de la historia clínica en Estomatología General Integral. De forma ordenada y estructurada se realiza una recopilación exhaustiva de los aspectos y conocimientos básicos necesarios para el estudio del tema, así como textos, imágenes y videos que ayudan a enriquecer el contenido. La estructuración permite un acceso rápido a todos los contenidos y puede ser empleado como texto básico para la formación de pregrado y material de consulta para estudiantes de posgrado.
The present work shows an informatic product that helps to teach and study the method for the conformation of the clinical history in integral and general dentistry.An exhaustive compilation is presented about the main aspects needed for studying the isuue mentioned above.The structure oh the digital document allow a quick and easy acces to the content and make it usefull both as a basic text for junior students and as a consulting material for graduated.

Se analizó el plan de estudio de la especialidad de Estomatología General Integral con el objetivo de realizar su perfeccionamiento. Métodos: análisis y síntesis, sistémico estructural, revisión documental, criterio de expertos. El perfeccionamiento constó de varias etapas desde la convocatoria del comité académico hasta el rediseño de los diferentes módulos. Resultados: se destacó la redefinición de los problemas profesionales, la actualización y reordenamiento de contenidos, el módulo de atención primaria en ortodoncia sustituyó al de atención al menor de 19 años II. Se diseñó el módulo de atención integral al paciente geriátrico, se incluyó, la presentación, en formato de artículo de revisión, alguna de las revisiones bibliográficas que se les orientan al residente. Conclusiones: el nuevo plan de estudio mantiene la estructura didáctica modular y la formación en los propios servicios, se actualizaron y reordenaron los contenidos. To analyze the curriculum of the integral general dentistry specialty to encourage its improvement. Methods: systemic and structural analysis and synthesis, documentary review, expert criteria. The upgrading consisted of several phases from the summons of the academic committee to the re-design of the different modules. Results: the re-definition of professional problems, the updating and reorganization of contents were underlined; the primary care module in orthodontics replaced the care for under 19 years-old patient II module. The integral care to the older patient module was designed, and there was included the presentation of some literature reviews made by residents in the review article format. Conclusions: the new curriculum keeps the modular didactic structure and the formation at work; the contents were similarly updated and reorganized. Os antibióticos são substâncias químicas produzidas por microrganismos vivos ou através por meio de processos semissintéticos, que têm a capacidade de impedir o crescimento ou destruir microrganismos patogênicos. A prescrição de antibióticos é indispensável na prática odontológica. Para tanto, o conhecimento do medicamento utilizado bem como a dosagem correta para o processo de cura são necessários. Este trabalho tem por objetivo fazer uma revisão crítica da literatura sobre os antibióticos de uso odontológico bem como esclarecer os mecanismos de ação, as formas farmacêuticas existentes no mercado e suas principais indicações, posologia e efeitos colaterais mais comuns. O cirurgião-dentista tem disponível uma infinidade de formulações medicamentosas, entretanto a farmacologia é uma área muito pouco explorada pelos profissionais de odontologia. Isso requer uma maior disseminação desse conhecimento para o estabelecimento de uma correta prática diária quando da administração de antimicrobianos.
Antibiotics are chemistry substance that inhibit the growing or destroy the microorganism. The prescription of antibiotics is necessary in the odontological clinic. Knowledge of medicine, the dosage correctly to the process of health is necessary. This paper is make a critical literature review about antibiotics of use odontological, as well as knowledge mechanisms of action, as comercial presentation and indications, dosages and adverse effects more frequently. The dentistry has an infinity available of medicines formulations, however, the pharmacology is a little bit explored area by the dentistry. That requests a larger popularization of that knowledge for the establishment of a correct daily practice when of the antibiotics administration.
