ABSTRACT

【Objective】 To carry out serological and molecular biological identification of B (A) subtype, and discuss the rational blood transfusion strategy. 【Methods】 Serological and direct sequencing methods were used to detect serotype and genotype of 7 cases of B (A) subtype, and cross matching was performed by saline medium and anti human globulin card to analyze the red blood cells(RBCs) transfusion strategy. 【Results】 The serology results of blood type of 7 samples were similar, with B(A)04/O01 in 3 cases, B(A)04/O02 in 2 cases and B(A)02/O01 in 2 cases. 7 cases of B (A) subtypes were matched with randomly selected blood donors of type O and B on the major side. 【Conclusion】 B(A) subtypes should be identified by genotyping techniques. Washed RBCs of type B and O can be used for B(A) blood type transfusion.

ABSTRACT

【Objective】 To analyze and master the serological and genetic characteristics of the samples with CisAB subtype and their genetic background. 【Methods】 From January 2018 to January 2022, blood samples with discrepant ABO blood typing results, from Zhengzhou voluntary blood donors and hospital patients, were subjected to phenotypic classification using micro column gel card and tube method, as well as amplification of exons 6 and 7 in ABO gene using PCR. The pedigrees of individuals with the same CisAB subtype but different serological typing results in the same family were analyzed. 【Results】 11 The forward typing of 12 samples was AB type, and unexpected antibodies against weaker antigens were found in 11 serum samples, including 9 cases with strong antigen A, 2 cases with strong antigen B, and 1 case with consistent forward and reverse typing results. Gene sequencing confirmed that 11 cases were CisAB01 subtype and 1 case was CisAB05 subtype.Among them, 7 cases had the genotype of CisAB01/O and serological phenotype of A2B3; 2 cases had the genotype of CisAB01/B and phenotype of A2B; 2 cases had the genotype of CisAB01/A and serological phenotype of A1Bx and A1B3; 1 case had the phenotype of AxB. In the CisAB01 family, 1 case of CisAB01/O with A2B3 phenotype and 1 case of CisAB01/B with A2B phenotype were detected. In the CisAB05 family, 2 CisAB05/O01 and 1 CisAB05/O02 were detected. 【Conclusion】 The serological phenotypes of different individuals in the same CisAB01 family can be different when paired with different ABO alleles. It is advisable to accurately identify the CisAB subtype genes with molecular biological methods to ensure blood transfusion safety.

ABSTRACT

【Objective】 To summarize a rapid and effective method to eliminate autoantibodies interference with blood group identification and evaluate its treatment effect. 【Methods】 Blood samples with suspicious results in initial blood group identification were collected, and those caused by autoantibodies were chosen, and their red blood cells were washed, dispersed or treated with sulfhydryl reagent. After allogeneic or autologous absorption of plasma, blood groups of those patients were re-detected to evaluate the effectiveness of the above method. 【Results】 Among 39 patients presenting suspicious ABO blood group, 9 were interfered by autoantibodies. After appropriate treatment, the ABO/RhD blood group of those patients could be identified. 【Conclusion】 Autoantibodies could interfere the identification of ABO/RhD blood group, and the efficiency and accuracy of blood group identification could be improved by analyzing the test results and selecting appropriate treatment methods.

ABSTRACT

Pre-transfusion compatibility testing is complicated in autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA) patients due to the presence of autoantibodies. Delays in blood transfusion or even life-threatening would occur if blood type, isoantibodies/ autoantibodies of these patients could not be correctly identified to choose the appropriate blood components. Knowing the detection and treatment countermeasures against blood transfusion compatibility in AIHA patients is of great significance to ensure the timeliness and safety of blood transfusion. Based on the research progress at home and abroad, this article summarizes the serological characteristics, autoantibody types, blood group identification methods, antibody screening and antibody identification methods, and blood transfusion strategies about AIHA patients, in order to eliminate the interference of autoantibodies and provide transfusion guidance for the staff of Blood Transfusion Department.

ABSTRACT

The present study is located in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina, in the year 2018, executed in an specialized institution of consumption of psychoactive substances pathologies. The aim of the following work is to present the result of a psychoanalytic group in relation with the use of "psychodramatic" techniques. Hospitalized patients constantly manifested discomforts related to the bond with their family and/or continent group. Said bond was characterized in most cases as being scarce or practically non-existent. And members of the group considered that "the addiction" distanced them from their affections. Regarding this problem, the therapeutic group was carried out, with the aim of being able to work on the inter-bond dynamics of each members of the group, as well as questioning about the identification of "being addicted". The final approach was made in two stages considering what happened in the group, taking Massimo Recalcati (2015) as a reference. Conditions of possibility were promoted to address the singularity of each case starting from the first moment of "monosymptomatic" group identification

ABSTRACT

For various psychosocial phenomena that involve groups and individuals, it isnecessary that the individual feels to be part of the group and perceives the importance of group belonging, so that the group instance can influence behavior and thinking. Group identification is a construct defined by the measure of the connection force of individuals with a group that they belong to. There are many kinds of group identification measures, usually in Likert format, but no generic measures validated for the Brazilian context are found. This work has proposed a simple measure consisting in the translation and adaptation of some items that are well known in theinternational literature and to validate it. Six items of group identification measures employed in international studies were chosen. Items adapted to measure the identification with youngpeople and university undergraduate students were included in the instrument of a study with data collection through the internet, carried out with 1203 undergraduates of seven Brazilian states; 65% of the participants were women, with a mean age of 21 years old. Exploratory and confirmatory analyses and reliability indexes pointed out that the items work well as a onedimensional scale for the assessed reference groups. The scale is then an instrument for the inclusion of such variable in research, even acknowledging that there is space for the improvement of items and the possibility to conduct multidimensional measurement.

ABSTRACT

This paper examines the relationships between organizational, group, and career identification with organizational, group, and career citizenship behavior. In addition, this study analyzes the mediator role of perceived social support from different sources -organizational and group- on identification and citizenship behavior. Using a sample of 435 Spanish workers, nested into 87 work groups, we found full support for our hypotheses. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) showed that organizational, group, and career identification are different but related dimensions, and predictors of the three citizenship behavior foci. Results also showed that the effect of organizational identification on organizational citizenship behavior is partially mediated by perceived organizational support partially, while perceived group support partially mediates the relationship between group identification and group citizenship behavior. These results confirm and extend previous research on identification and citizenship behavior.
