ABSTRACT

Objective@#To investigate and analyze the humane care quality and behavior of clinical nurses in informed consent, and provide theoretical basis about how to implement humane care in clinical nursing practice.@*Methods@#Using Nurse Humanities Care Quality Table which developed by Liu Yuxi, and Nurse Informed Consent Humanistic Behavior Self-rating Scale witch designed by self, To investigate 110 clinical nurses who picked out by hierarchical random sampling.@*Results@#In the humanistic care quality assessment, the score of the ability was the lowest in nurses′ humanistic care quality, the average score (23.06±1.72) accounted for 65.88% of the total score (35). the score of knowledge dimension was positively correlated with age and working years (r=0.339, 0.294, both P<0.01). the score of perceived dimension was positively correlated with age (r=0.250, P<0.01). In the humanistic care behavior assessment of informed consent, the score of the communication and emergency ability dimension were the lowest. The average score (21.65±1.93) accounted for 86.60% of the total score (25). The marital status of the clinic nurses was negatively correlated with respect and care (r=-0.305, P<0.01). The humanistic knowledge was positively correlated with support and communication and emergency response (r=0.422, 0.371, both P <0.01), the concept was positively correlated with respect and care, support and security (r=0.640, 0.587, both P<0.01).@*Conclusions@#The quality of nurses′ humanistic care is significantly related to the humanistic care behavior in informed consent. It should improve the quality of nurses′ humanistic care for cultivating humanistic care behavior in nursing practice.

ABSTRACT

Objective To understand the humanistic Care quality status of master of nursing specialist (MNS), and put forward the structural equation model of influencing factors of humanistic care quality. Methods using convenient sampling, the survey came from 191 postgraduates of MNS from 14 universities, using the nurses' Humanistic Care quality questionnaire, the professional ability Self-Assessment questionnaire, the care ability evaluation scale and the self setting general situation questionnaire. Results The total quality of humanistic care was in the middle level (125.43 ± 16.27), among which, the highest sharing of humanistic care (4.56±0.57) and the lowest sharing of humanistic care (4.18 ± 0.63). Through the analysis of the influence factors, the humanistic care education and the awareness of caring will influence the development of humanistic care quality by influencing the master's caring ability and professional ability. Conclusion To strengthen humanistic care education, to create a caring education and practice environment, to learn caring and experience care, and then to care and strengthen the professional ability to better provide quality care services for patients.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the current status and the related influencing factors of humanistic care quality of nurses in department of aged homes in Guangzhou,for the future to carry out humanistic care education,and provide a reference for improving humanistic care quality of nurses.Methods 270 nurses from 8 department of aged homes in Guangzhou were investigated by convenience sampling and evaluation table on humanistic care quality of nurses.The affected factors were analyzed by multiple stepwise regression.Results The aggregate score of humanistic care quality of nurses in this study was (113.59±9.78),which was lower than the reference score (118.36±16.75) of humanistic care quality of nurses of some general hospitals in Shanghai in 2010,offered by Liu Yuxiao,the designer of the evaluation table.The scores were correlated with 4 impact factors including home,politics status,care index of colleagues,whether to accept the education and training of humanistic care;multiple stepwise regression analysis indicated that care index of colleagues and whether to accept the education and training of humanistic care were the main factors.Conclusions Humanistic care quality of nurses in department of aged homes in Guangzhou was in lower level,and especially caring ability and the attitude towards caring.Department of aged homes should cooperate with universities,to establish a set of training courses on humanistic care quality of nurses in department of aged homes.Through the systematic,standardized training,to improve humanistic care quality of nurses and the quality of nursing service.
