ABSTRACT

In recent years,the application of humanities curricula has gained increasing attention gradually in Chinese medical education.For graduate students in oncology who have just been exposed to the actual clinical work,it is extremely important to develop the comprehensive abilities of physician-patient communication,humanistic care and self psychological dredging.Since 2012,we have conducted humanities curriculum by narrative-based instruction for the clinical intern graduate students in oncology at the department of surgical oncology in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University,and a good teaching result has been gained.This kind of humanities curricula based on open discussion could be an effective way to improve physician-patient communication ability and reduce the clinical psychology pressure for the graduate students in oncology.

ABSTRACT

Through the comparison of the research status of medical humanistic spirit cultivation at home and abroad , this paper found that the main challenges facing by the cultivation of medical humanistic spirit in China were as the following three aspects:the medical humanities curriculum was not reasonable;the medical students were not fully aware of medical humanistic spirit;people were laying emphasis on imparting knowledge, and neglecting the practice of medical humanities. According to the problems facing by the cultivation of medical humanistic spirit in China at the present stage, taking the strategic research of Healthy China as an opportunity, this paper analyzed the influence of Healthy China strategy on the cultivation of medical humanistic spirit, and put forward the path of the cultivation of medical humanistic spirit from the perspective of Healthy China.

ABSTRACT

In the background of the crisis of doctor-patient relationship and the effectiveness of medical humanities education doubts we need to think about how to achieve,transform and reflect the value of doctors' understanding on their professional meaning,how to realize the functional significance of doctorpatient cooperation and how to make doctors put themselves in patients' place by the curriculum and its operating mechanism.This paper discussed the external environment and the microcosmic environment from the externality and connotation of the humanities curriculum.And the way to reflect and achieve the value transformation of the medical humanistic curriculum in the mechanism of education was considered.This paper put forward combining the institutional mechanism of policy leading,the subject mechanism that is the basis of the curriculum,the constitutive mechanism of curriculum system and the cultural mechanism to make students study and internalize,and made some suggestions.

ABSTRACT

The principles of step by step, the combination of practice and theory, the co-existing of being implicit and explicit, the equality between guidance and autonomous can be followed to construct humanities curriculum system in content, resources, teaching staff and teaching in medical colleges for nationalities. Furthermore, humanities curriculum system must insist on a fundamental concepts that the human theory is the essence of medicine, and the humanities is the basic structure of medicine and the key to success is the training of humanities teachers.
