ABSTRACT

All domains of the woman's growth, social, political and psychological study helps to explore the expedition of the emergent disputable women in developing India. The icon of women presented under analysis is determined, challenging, daring, dissipated, power-hungry and bold. As Swami Vivekanandha declared: “Educate your women first and leave them to themselves”, Kapur's women use education as bludgeon to win and shape men to their view-point and get the best out of them. In Kapur's novels the concept of traditional Indian woman becomes out dated and the modern woman turns into trendy. In the present scenario, the educated women govern and tackle the problem daringly to reach their emancipation.

ABSTRACT

O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar o idealismo transcendental (e o realismo empírico) como uma semântica transcendental, que permite resolver problemas cognitivos da ciência e decidir sobre problemas filosóficos, por meio de novos argumentos e documentos textuais da filosofia kantiana. Para tal fim, mostraremos que a pergunta fundamental que aparece em todo o percurso da obra kantiana é a da possibilidade das proposições sintéticas. Essa pergunta demanda o desenvolvimento de uma resposta que essencialmente diz respeito não apenas a sua necessidade e possibilidade lógica, mas também a sua exequibilidade, e que mostrará suas peculiaridades em cada caso. Especificamente na primeira crítica, as condições ou ingredientes do juízo permitem distinguir entre fenômenos como objetos de conhecimento e coisas em si mesmas. Assim, o idealismo transcendental é definido, no sentido restrito, na crítica da razão pura, basicamente, pelo modo de interpretar o papel da sensibilidade em relação com as categorias e a constituição dos objetos de conhecimento. Esta posição filosófica permite a Kant propor um campo de sentido onde formular e resolver problemas cognitivos válidos e, portanto, resolver os problemas que a própria razão se impõe, bem como fazer uma refutação ao idealismo (material), tanto problemático quanto dogmático. Assim, provaremos que o problema da cognoscibilidade dos objetos se resolve em Kant em termos decididamente semânticos.


The aim of this paper is to show the transcendental idealism (and empirical realism) as transcendental semantics, which allows us to solve cognitive problems in science and to decide on philosophical problems through new arguments and textual documents of Kantian philosophy. To this goal, we will show that the fundamental question that appears throughout the course of the Kantian work is the question of the possibility of synthetic propositions. This question calls for the development of an answer that essentially concerns not only its necessity and logical possibility, but also its feasibility, and which will show its peculiarities in each case. Specifically, in the first criticism, the conditions or ingredients of judgment allow us to distinguish between phenomena as objects of knowledge and things in themselves. Thus transcendental idealism is defined, in the narrow sense, in the critique of pure reason, basically, by the way of interpreting the role of sensibility in relation to the categories and constitution of the objects of knowledge. This philosophical position allows Kant to propose a field of meaning in which to formulate and solve valid cognitive problems and, therefore, to solve the problems that reason itself imposes, as well as to refute the (material) idealism, both problematic and dogmatic. Thus we will prove that the problem of know objects is solved in Kant in decidedly semantic terms.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVES: The aim of this study was to the ethical propensity, professionalism, and ethical job behavior of dental hygienists. METHODS: The subjects of this study were 748 dental hygienists, who are working at various types of dental hospitals and clinics around the country, from January 23 to March 30, 2012. Data were analyzed with a t-test, one-way ANOVA, Chi-square, and Stepwise multiple regression analysis SPSS 19.0. RESULTS: As for the ethical propensity of dental hygienists, their idealism scores were 3.87, which was higher than their relativism scores. The ethical job behavior and professionalism scores were higher in absolutists (3.80, 3.40 points) and situationists (3.77, 3.44 points), than subjectivists (3.49, 3.19 points) and exceptionists (3.38, 3.09 points) in the ethical types. The ethical job behavior and professionalism-related common Influence factors was idealism. CONCLUSIONS: The absolutists and situationists with a high tendency of idealism were high in the level of professionalism and ethical job behavior, according to the ethical types.

Neste artigo, examinamos o caráter dialético da obra de Hölderlin, que opera com uma série de oposições: entre o ser e a consciência (juízo), os deuses e os homens, os antigos e os modernos, o todo e a parte, a razão e a sensibilidade, a naturezae a arte, a infância e a velhice, a primavera e o inverno etc. Na transição entre poesia e filosofia, esses tópicos são situados no plano da diferença e da unificação, como um processo de intuição e intimidade.


We examine in this paper the dialectical character of the work of Hölderlin, which operates with a series of oppositions: between the being and consciousness (judgment), the gods and men, theantiquity andmodernity, the whole and part, the reason and sensitivity, the nature and art, the childhood and old age, Spring and Winter, etc.In the transition between poetry and philosophy, these topics are located in terms of the difference and unity, as a process of intuition and intimacy.

ABSTRACT

O presente texto analisa as influências do pensamento liberal sobre os primórdios da formação intelectual e política de Gramsci. Mostra que, inicialmente, Gramsci encontra em Benedetto Croce e Giovanni Gentile, representantes do neo-idealismo italiano,um referencial de análise mais progressista e moderno sobre a Itália do que o de Guglielmo Ferrero e Filippo Turati, expoentes do Partido Socialista Italiano. Sua posição em favor do liberalismo manifesta-sena defesa da modernidade e da capacidade de autodeterminação do sujeito. Contudo, a influência liberal não o impediu de saudar a revolução de outubro de 1917, quando ainda permaneciam pontos de contato entre seu pensamento e o de Croce. A passagem de Gramsci ao comunismo e sua ruptura com a influência neo-idealista e liberal ocorrerão durante o aprofundamento dos conflitos históricos, tais como a I Guerra Mundial e o crescimento do antagonismo entre o Ocidente liberal e a Revolução Soviética.


The text analyzes the influence of liberal thinking in the beginning of Gramsci's intellectual and political development. It shows that initially Gramsci finds in the ideas of Benedetto Croce and Giovanni Gentile, supporters of Italian new-idealism, a more progressive and modern framework for examining Italy than in the ideas defended by Guglielmo Ferrero e Filippo Turati, exponents of the Italian Socialist Party. His support of liberalism manifests itself in the defense of modernity and the capacity for self-determination. But the liberal influence did not stop him from welcoming the october Revolution of 1917, although there still remained points of contact between Croce's thinking and his own. Gramsci's embrace of communism and his rupture with new-idealist and liberal trends takes place later, during the deepening of historical conflicts, such as Word War I and the increasing antagonism between the liberal West and the Soviet Revolution.
