Resumen Se dice que una imagen dice más que 1,000 palabras y el Dr. Ramírez-Arias se ha dedicado a ahorrar palabras y nos acompaña en un recorrido por la historia de su especialidad. Recorre los avances tecnológicos y sus descubridores, merecedores de Premios Nobel. En la lectura vislumbramos el perfeccionamiento de herramientas y las técnicas radiológicas e imagenología. Ahora el radiólogo extendió su mirada hacia la intervención y hacia una imagenología molecular que avanza vertiginosamente y que ofrece un campo poco explorado para los médicos que se están formando y buscan un campo de desarrollo, tanto en una especialidad médica como en la posibilidad de aportar conocimiento a través de la investigación.

Abstract People say that a picture is worth a thousand words and Dr. Ramírez-Arias has dedicated his life to save up words and he now joins us for a walk along the history of his specialty. He revises those who discovered some radiologic techniques and were awarded with the Nobel Prize. While reading, we visualize an improvement of the tools in radiologic and imageologic techniques. Nowadays the radiologists are extending their views to molecular imagenology which has developed rapidly and that offers to the new physicians a field of opportunities with the possibility to produce new knowledge by doing research besides their work as specialists in image.

Segurança do paciente e do trabalhador em imagenologia: uma revisão integrativa / El paciente ser la inocuidad y del trabajador en imagenologia: una integrativa revisión / Patient and worker safety in imaging: an integrative review

Objetivo: levantar as publicações científicas acerca dos enfoques dados à Política Nacional de Segurança do Paciente (PNSP) e à Política Nacional de Saúde e Segurança Trabalhador (PNSST), a fim de integrar estas observações ao cuidado em saúde. Método: estudo qualiquantitativo em revisão sistemática integrada. Os dados foram obtidos e registrados por meio de gráficos e quadros, além da base teórica do cuidado de Florence. Resultado: O estudo constatou que cerca de 12,8% dos artigos são voltados para essa temática. Dentro dessa temática, o setor que mais se destaca é a hemodiálise. A teoria ambientalista de Florence, junto à temática proposta, influencia tanto a segurança do trabalhador quanto a segurança do paciente. Conclusão: Os artigos de segurança do trabalhador, segurança do paciente e imagenologia estão intrinsecamente associados. E, dessa maneira, podem ter mais artigos posteriormente incluindo essa temática entrelaçada.

Objective: to raise the scientific publications about the approaches given to the National Policies of Patient Safety (PNSP) and Occupational Health and Safety (PNSST) in order to integrate these observations into health care. Method: A qualitative-quantitative study in an integrated systematic review and the data were obtained and recorded through graphs, tables and tables in addition to the theoretical basis of care of Florence. Result: The study found that about 12.8% of articles are focused on this theme. Within this theme, the sector that stands out most is hemodialysis. Florence’s environmental theory, along with the proposed theme, influences both worker safety and patient safety. Conclusion: Articles of worker safety, patient safety and imaging are intrinsically associated. And, in this way, they can have more articles later including this interlaced theme.

Objetivo: levantar las publicaciones científicas con respecto a los datos de enfoques el ciudadano de política del paciente es la inocuidad de (PNSP) y de la salud y - penoso la inocuidad de trabajo (PNSST) in order integrar estas observaciones al cuidado en la salud. Método: estudio - de quali cuantitativo en la revisión sistemática integrada y los datos fueron obtenidos y registrados a través de gráficos, tablas y fotografías además de la base teórica del cuidado de Florencia. Resultado: el estudio verificó que aproximadamente 12,8 % de lós artículos estuvieran desaparecidos back to ese tema. Dentro de ese theme, la sección eso más selecciona ser el hemodiálise. El ambientalista de teoría de Florencia con la propuesta de theme influye en so much en la seguridad del trabajador como en el patient’s safety. Conclusión: los artículos de la inocuidad del trabajador, la patient’s safety e imagenologia son intrinsecamente associado.

Remembranza de una visita del Comandante en Jefe Fidel Castro Ruz al Hospital Provincial Docente Clinicoquirúrgico Saturnino Lora Torres / Remembrance of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz visit to Saturnino Lora Torres Teaching Clinical Surgical Provincial Hospital

Se reseña de manera historiográfica y documental uno de los momentos en que el líder histórico de la Revolución Cubana compartió con trabajadores del Hospital Provincial Docente Clinicoquirúrgico Saturnino Lora Torres. Se trata de la visita que efectuó en julio de 1988 para inaugurar el moderno equipo de tomografía axial computarizada. La ciudad de Santiago de Cuba conmemoraba el 35 aniversario del Asalto al Cuartel Moncada y fue el marco escogido para la inauguración. Se destaca el intercambio sostenido por Fidel con los especialistas en Imagenología y sus conocimientos sobre el tema.

In this work there is a historical and documental review of one of the moments in which the Cuban revolution historical leader shared with the workers of Saturnino Lora Torres Teaching Clinical Surgical Provincial Hospital. It is about the visit on July, 1988 to inaugurate the modern equipment of CT scan. Santiago de Cuba was commemorating the 35th anniversary of the Assault to the Moncada Garrison and it was the event chosen for the inauguration. The exchange of Fidel with the Imagenology specialists and the wide knowledge he had on the subject are remarkable.

Venezuelan surgeons view concerning teaching human anatomical dissection / 대한해부학회지

Currently, the importance of human anatomical dissection have come under debate in many countries but there are not references in Venezuela on this concern. This survey's aim is to assess the insights of Venezuelan surgeons and their outlines of usage of human anatomical dissection in teaching and learning human anatomy. Sixty-five Venezuelan surgeons at the Centro Médico Docente La Trinidad completed an anonymous survey on current and future teaching practices in human anatomy. Eighty-nine point two three percent of surveyed (n=58) conferred importance to human anatomical dissection despite the arrival of new innovations in learning human anatomy. The group surveyed view human anatomical dissection-based teaching as the most beneficial method of teaching human anatomy and it should be bolstered in human anatomical education with matching use of three-dimensional computerized tomography imaging as a complementary form for teaching and learning.
