ABSTRACT

In his incarnation theory, Michel Henry radically subverts the Cartesian paradigm, as understood by the traditional phenomenology, offering to psychology and other fields of knowledge the conception of indissociability between body and subjectivity. He conceives the body as subjective and calls it flesh, whereas the dissociations are suffering modes of the incarnated individuality. However, Michel Henry does not thematizes the incarnation's problems and its consequences. These problems can arise by organic degenerations. It is relevant for the psychological clinic to discuss about the incarnation's problems because the way we live the body is the way we inhabit the flesh. The objective of this work is to understand the question of incarnation in organic degenerations and how they affect the constitution of the self. For that it will be used the sense of hearing and its loss as a conductive thread in addressing this issue.

ABSTRACT

This article gives an introduction to the life and thought of Luigi Giussani (1922-2005), a Catholic theologian who is the founder of the Communion and Liberation movement. Its focus is on Giussani?s proposal of the Christian life, not simply as a set of rules or a system of thought, but as an encounter with the person of Christ. As a consequence, experience is placed at the centre of faith because God himself experienced humanity in history. Since Giussani?s life was built alongside his theological articulation, the article then discusses the foundational concept of "religious sense", briefly highlighting its developments in education and psychology, and concludes with the correspondent answer of revelation in Christianity.(AU)

ABSTRACT

Objective To discuss the influence of Open resetlogs on Oracle database recovery. Methods Database backup was used to recover database before resetlogs. Before Oracle 9i, Oracle database was recovered through two steps; after Oracle10g, Oracle archived redo log by new format. Results Both methods could recover Oracle database by using backups before resetlogs. Conclusion Before Oracle9i, the recovery steps are complex, so it is suggested a consistent database backup should be made after resetlogs. By using the new archived redo log format after Oracle10g, it is easy to recover database through resetlogs.
