ABSTRACT
Growth of demand for endoscopic services and limited medical resources have brought the efficiency of endoscopic services in spotlight in the world .A retrospective efficiency analysis of endoscopic centers in the United States , as made by the authors , revealed their selection of efficiency indicators , benchmark establishment , evaluation and intervention .These efforts help summarize the experiences of improving efficiency and provide references for such centers in China to improve their efficiency .
ABSTRACT
The paper briefly introduced the outpatient and inpatient medical services and medical insurance system in Germany.It also covered the regulatory model and its structure and role of the German medical service,which are characterized ofSociety-led self-governance.Based on the observation and inspiration of this model,the authors came up with.recommendations to improve China' s medical service,medical insurance and regulatory model.
ABSTRACT
Since 1959,the Department of Medical Education at the University of Illinois at Chicago(UIC DME)has experienced five stages,i.e.,formation,going to the world,turmoil,consolidation and prosperous prospects.UIC DME has been contributing a lot to its home institute,medical schools in the United States and also the world's health professions education.There are many aspect,;worth learning from it:such as variOtis institution-based services;multi-discipline faculty for the department;innovative multi-field researches;efficient and effective communication and stimulation for faculty and staff;fruitful collaboration with other organizations and winning active leadership supports.
ABSTRACT
Four samples were chosen from the range-finders of CET-4 compositions(1987~2003)by equidistant sampling.We analyzed the functional characteristics of the range-finders of CET-4 high-mark compositions from the following aspects: transitivity,modality,thematic structure and cohesion.Inspirations to the teaching of College English writing are suggested.
