ABSTRACT

Objective:To observe the application effect of mind mapping combined with interactive communication mode in clinical teaching of neurosurgery. Methods:A total of 40 students who practiced in the Department of Neurosurgery in the Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou Medical University from September 2019 to September 2020 were included in the control group, and traditional teaching was adopted; another 40 students who practiced from October 2020 to October 2021 were included in the observation group, and mind mapping combined with interactive communication mode was adopted for teaching. The two groups of students were taught for 2 weeks, and after the teaching, the teaching effect was compared between the two groups. SPSS 25.0 software was used to conduct t-test and Chi-square test. Results:After 2 weeks of teaching, the scores of theoretical knowledge (90.38±4.03) and practical operation skills (93.37±3.48) in the two groups were higher than those before teaching [(85.52±5.26) and (87.25±4.48)], with statistically significant differences ( t=4.63, 6.83, P<0.001). The case analysis score of the two groups was higher than that before teaching, and that of the observation group (86.03±6.07) was higher than that of the control group (79.13±5.57), with statistically significant differences ( t=5.30, P<0.001). The scores of interpersonal communication ability and cooperation ability of the two groups were higher than those before teaching. The scores of interpersonal communication ability (82.53±4.74), cooperation ability (169.73±7.55) of the observation group were higher than those of the control group [(77.93±4.45) and (158.42±8.01)], with statistically significant differences ( t=4.48, 6.49, P<0.001). Conclusion:Mind mapping combined with interactive communication mode can effectively improve the clinical basic knowledge and clinical practice ability of interns in the Department of Neurosurgery, and improve their communication and cooperation ability.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To understand the relationships between pre-adolescents and new communicative practices in computer networks in terms of the construction of social values that are fostered through their participation in collaborative video games by observing adolescents playing the Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) video game. Methodology: This is a qualitative study that used ethnographic tools supported by a Likert type survey with students from a school in Bogotá. Results and conclusions: Students clearly differentiate between the values context of the game and values in real life. Social values such as respect, solidarity, otherness and compliance have different meanings in the game compared to their lives. The family is the most recognized source of values for these students in real life while students gain learning experiences from the world of the game.

ABSTRACT

Putting forward an epistemological proposal that makes sense of the senses referred by the teachers themselves as for teachers' assessment, leads us, according to the results of the present study, to the dialog as an option for teachers' performance assessment because this makes the meeting between the teacher and the student easy. It is a space for the word, reflection, democracy, ethics, the pedagogic construction, and the construction of senses and meanings. This proposal of dialogical assessment is based on empirical, theoretical, pedagogic, epistemological, ontological, and ethical foundations of dialogical assessment.

ABSTRACT

Abstract The research topic arises from the data obtained in an earlier research on Organizational Climate conducted by the same authors, where the «Communication¼ factor was the most striking. In the present study, the communication process of the companies affiliated to the National Shoe Chamber (CALTU), Tungurahua, Ecuador, is determined. It is an investigation of type: exploratory, descriptive, qualitative, phenomenological, inductive, hermeneutic-dialectical, non-experimental, transversal. In-depth interviews are conducted with managers/owners of footwear companies. The data processing is done through Atlas.ti software, a computer tool that facilitates the qualitative analysis of textual data. The methodological analysis of the results is based on the Grounded Theory, whose fundamental principle is the construction of theory starting directly from the data obtained, and not from a priori assumptions, from other research or from existing frameworks. It concludes that interviewees understand organizational communication basically as communication with the worker. And technical communication is more fluid than personal communication: there is openness to the upward communication and to the suggestions of the staff, as long as the communication is related to the information necessary for the execution of the tasks.
