Actividades de aprendizaje que propician la formación investigativa desde la asignatura Información Científica en carreras Tecnológicas / Learning activities that promote research training from the subject Scientific Information in Technological careers

RESUMEN Introducción: Actualmente la práctica investigativa constituye una característica en la Educación Superior, referida a la búsqueda, análisis y sistematización del conocimiento, así como a la apropiación de técnicas, métodos y protocolos propios de la actividad investigativa. Por ello, el objetivo, del presente texto es exponer actividades de aprendizaje que propician la formación investigativa desde la asignatura Información Científica en carreras Tecnológicas. Material y Métodos: La aplicación de métodos teóricos (analítico-sintético; inductivo-deductivo) y de nivel empírico como el análisis documental permitieron el diseño e implementación de actividades de aprendizaje para propiciar la formación investigativa desde el primer año de la carrera. Resultados y discusión: Las estrategias de enseñanza deben orientarse a privilegiar un procesamiento de la información que permanezca en el alumno como un conocimiento ligado a su vida considerando las necesidades de los alumnos, del profesor, de la comunidad y de la institución. Se asume al registro de experiencia en la actuación del estudiante en la pesquisa activa como información inicial en la formación investigativa. En la Educación Superior a raíz de la pandemia del COVID-19 el cambio de modalidad de estudio condujo a una nueva era del aprendizaje. En la modalidad Educación a Distancia (EaD), el trabajo independiente logra su objetividad cuando el alumno consigue relacionar correctamente el planteamiento de la tarea con los métodos a seguir para realizarla, puede aplicar sus conocimientos y capacidades para realizarla sin necesidad de que el maestro intervenga directamente para orientar cada detalle.

ABSTRACT Introduction: Research practice is currently a characteristic in Higher Education, referring to the search, analysis and systematization of knowledge, as well as the appropriation of techniques, methods and protocols typical of research activity. Therefore, the objective of this text is to expose learning activities that promote research training from the subject Scientific Information in Technological careers. Materials and Methods: The application of theoretical methods (analytical-synthetic; inductive-deductive) and empirical methods such as documentary analysis allowed the design and implementation of learning activities to promote research training from the first year of the degree. Results and Discussion: Teaching strategies should be oriented to privilege information processing that remains in the student as knowledge linked to his life, considering the needs of the students, the teacher, the community and the institution. The record of experience in the student's performance in active research is assumed as initial information in research training. In Higher Education as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the change in study modality led to a new era of learning. In the Distance Education (DL) modality, independent work achieves its objectivity when the student manages to correctly relate the approach to the task with the methods to be followed to carry it out, they can apply their knowledge and skills to carry it out without the need for the teacher to intervene directly to guide every detail.

Análisis histórico tendencial del proceso de formación del componente investigativo en la carrera de Medicina / Historical trend analysis of the formation process of the investigative component in the Medicine career

RESUMEN Introducción: dada la complejidad creciente de los problemas de salud de la población, se hace imprescindible perfeccionar el componente investigativo en los futuros médicos para asumir este reto y actuar en correspondencia con el contexto. Objetivo: describir las tendencias que han caracterizado el proceso formativo del componente investigativo en la carrera de Medicina. Métodos: se realizó una investigación cualitativa con enfoque histórico, a partir de la revisión documental, el método cronológico y la utilización de informantes clave, como métodos predominantes para desarrollar el objetivo de este estudio. Resultados: la sistematización teórica realizada posibilitó la determinación de los hitos histórico-pedagógicos para describir los indicadores asumidos, su progreso en cada una de las etapas y dilucidar las tendencias que han caracterizado dicho proceso. Discusión: el proceso de formación del componente investigativo en la carrera de Medicina ha ido en ascenso con el perfeccionamiento de los planes y programas de estudio. Sin embargo aún persisten insuficiencias, dada entre otros factores por la no acertada proyección desde las ciencias básicas biomédicas, para comunicar los resultados de la actividad investigativa del estudiante, con el uso de las tecnologías disponibles en correspondencia con el contexto.

ABSTRACT Introduction: given the growing complexity of the health problems of the population, it is essential to improve the research component in future doctors to take on this challenge and act in correspondence with the context. Objective: to refer to the trends that has characterized the training process of the research component in the Medicine career. Methods: a qualitative research with a historical approach was carried out, based on the documentary review, the chronological sub-method and the use of key informants, as predominant methods to develop the objective of this study. Results: the theoretical systematization carried out made it possible to determine the historical-pedagogical milestones to describe the assumed indicators, their progress in each of the stages and elucidate the trends that have characterized said process. Discussion: the formation process of the investigative component in the Medicine career has been on the rise with the improvement of the study plans and programs. However, insufficiencies still persist, given, among other factors, by the unsuccessful projection from the basic biomedical sciences, to communicate the results of the student's research activity, with the use of available technologies in correspondence with the context.

Aspectos sociales de la ciencia y la tecnología en la formación investigativa de los estudiantes de estomatología / Social aspects of science and technology in the investigative training of stomatology students

Se realizó una revisión bibliográfica y de los documentos normativos relacionados con el modelo de formación del profesional de la carrera de Estomatología, a fin de valorar los aspectos sociales de la ciencia y la tecnología que inciden en la formación investigativa de los estudiantes de esta carrera. Se observó poca utilización de las tecnologías de la información y las comunicaciones para solucionar los trabajos independientes, escaso desarrollo de habilidades para las búsquedas en internet y la aplicación de dichas tecnologías en actividades investigativas por equipos estudiantiles, así como limitada integración de las tecnologías en lo curricular. Se reafirmó la necesidad de una formación investigativa en estos estudiantes, teniendo en cuenta la complejidad social, económica y tecnológica para integrar las nuevas generaciones en la gestión del conocimiento y estimular el aprendizaje.

A literature and current documents review related to the pattern of the professional's training of stomatology career was carried out, in order to value the social aspects of science and technology that impact in the investigative training of the students of this career. It was observed little use of information and communications technologies to solve independent works, poor development of skills for internet searches and the implementation of this technologies in investigative activities for student teams, as well as limited integration of technologies in the curricular aspect. The necessity of an investigative training was reaffirmed in these students, taking into account the social, economic and technological complexity to integrate the new generations in the administration of knowledge and stimulate learning.

La formación científico-investigativa: proceso indispensable para el desarrollo de los ensayos clínicos en una institución de salud / The scientific-investigative training:indispensable process for the development of the clinical assays in a health institution

En Cuba, los investigadores clínicos como profesionales de las ciencias médicas, ejecutan las investigaciones científicas relacionadas con los procesos salud-enfermedad. De ahí que resulta necesario determinar la verdadera dimensión que alcanza la formación científico - investigativa de dichos profesionales. A tales efectos, se realizó el presente estudio en el cual se exponen algunas ideas en torno a un proceso imprescindible en los momentos actuales de desarrollo de la investigación clínica, donde la sistematización formativa constituye el elemento fundamental de la formación de estos profesionales.

In Cuba, the clinical researchers as professionals of the medical sciences, carry out the scientific investigations related to the health-disease processes. So that, it is necessary to determine the true dimension that reaches the scientist - investigative training of these professionals. To fulfil this objective, the present study was carried out in which some ideas are exposed regarding an indispensable process in the current moments of the clinical investigation development, where the formative systematization constitutes the fundamental element in training these professionals.

Antecedentes en la formación del investigador en ciencias médicas y la evolución de los ensayos clínicos en Cuba / Historical background in the investigator's training on medical sciences and the development of the clinical trials in Cuba

Desde sus inicios, en Cuba se le ha otorgado gran importancia a los ensayos clínicos. El gobierno ha dedicado innumerables recursos para el desarrollo de la industria biofarmacéutica y la obtención de nuevos productos farmacológicos empleados para tratar disímiles enfermedades. Debido a la relevancia científica y la ética que poseen estos ensayos clínicos, resulta necesario que sean conducidos por profesionales con una calificación científica apropiada. Ante tal situación, ha sido necesario formar a dichos profesionales desde los puntos de vista científico e investigativo. Por ello, en este artículo se exponen elementos relacionados con los antecedentes históricos de esa formación y su dinámica como un primer acercamiento al tema tratado.

Since their beginnings, great importance has been granted to the clinical trials in Cuba. The government has dedicated countless resources for the development of biopharmaceutical industry and the elaboration of new pharmacological products for treating different illnesses. Due to the scientific relevance and the ethics of these clinical trials, it is necessary that are conducted by professionals with an appropriate scientific qualification. In such a situation, it has been necessary to train these professionals from the scientific and investigative points of view. That is why, elements related with the historical background of that training and its dynamics are exposed in this work, as a first approach to the treated topic.

Se efectuó un estudio observacional y analítico para caracterizar el estado actual del proceso de formación investigativa de los tecnólogos de la salud, en la Facultad de Tecnología de la Salud "Juan Manuel Páez Inchausti", de Santiago de Cuba, durante el curso escolar 2011-2012. El universo estuvo constituido por los 2 260 tecnólogos de diferentes carreras, de los cuales se escogió una muestra al azar de 226 integrantes y, de manera intencional, se entrevistó a 29 profesores y 6 directivos. Se evidenciaron inconsistencias teóricas y metodológicas en el proceso de formación investigativa de estos profesionales, las cuales no han permitido revelar aún una lógica integradora en su cultura investigativa, desde la propia dinámica de la gestión de formación investigativa como eje integrador entre los procesos universitarios y cada uno de sus actores.

An observational and analytic study was carried out to characterize the current state of the process of investigative training of the health technologists, in "Juan Manuel Páez Inchausti" Health Technology Faculty, from Santiago de Cuba, during the school year 2011-2012. The universe was constituted by the 2 260 technologists of different careers, from which a sample of 226 members was chosen and, intentionally, 29 professors and 6 managers were interviewed. Theoretical and methodological weakness were evidenced in the process of these professionals' investigative training, which have not still allowed to reveal an integrative logic in their investigative culture, from the own dynamics of the management of the investigative training, as integrative key between the university processes and each one of its actors.
