ABSTRACT

Purpose: The purpose of the research in this context of the remarkable development of the Shirva area due to jasmine cultivation is to define, challenge, and overcome the various problems faced by farmers so that farmers can better shape their life's. The paper describes the jasmine crop's contribution to the development of rural areas. The growers of the jasmine crop have realised impressive economic benefits and increased their income as a result. This article also discover that the same procedures should have to be followed. This study based on primary data collected by 100 sample respondents from t Design/Methodology/Approach: he cultivators of jasmine and marketing people of Shirva. Secondary data was collected from journal papers, books, web pages, and other scholarly writings. Finding/Result: The study helps us to understand the involvement of jasmine growers in the economic growth of the area, thereby attaining allaround development. Achivement of economic growth, free flow of funds, and other challenges to jasmine and its marketing. Originality/Value: This study is an attempt to trace the role of jasmine farmers in the development of the rural area and the factors responsible for the economic growth and development of the farmers. case study-based research analysis.

ABSTRACT

Gardenia jasminoides is a common garden medicinal plant known for its anticancer, anti-inflammatory, anti-thrombic, anti-fibrotic, antiviral, hepatoprotective, lung-protective, renal-protective, retina-protective and neuroprotective activities. It is found in several regions of the world, including China, but information about its genetic characteristics is limited. Here, we employed an improved method of random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) analysis (with increased RAMP time) to investigate the genetic link between G. jasminoides samples collected from six different regions of Southern China. Total 26 RAPD primers were selected randomly, among which 23 primers generated reproducible polymorphic amplification bands. A total of 174 bands were obtained, where each primer had amplified 5-13 bands with an average of 7.56 bands per primer. The band size ranged approximately 150-2200 bp. Cluster dendrogram was obtained based on the improved RAPD amplification profiles, which showed that the similarity coefficients among six varieties of G. jasminoides ranged 0.67-0.88. To our knowledge, this is the first report of genetic characterization of G. jasminoides using improved RAPD analysis, which may be useful for the preservation of genetic diversity and identification of Gardenia population.

ABSTRACT

@#ObjectiveTo assess the effects of crude extract of Cape Jasmine in the experimental Alzheimer's model induced by Aβ25-35 and the memory acquisition impaied model induced by ibotenic acid(IBO).MethodsAlzheimer's dementia of mice was induced by Aβ25-35 i.cv. treatment and the impaired memory acquisition model was induced by IBO injected into the forebrain nucleus basalis. The effects of crude extract of Cape Jasmine on the learning and memory function of model animals were evaluated with Morris water maze and step-through test in 3 dose groups(12-5, 25, 50 mg/kg). Donepezil(0-75 mg/kg)was used in the positive control group.ResultsMorris water maze test showed that the spatial learning and memory ability of the model mice significantly improved in three crude extract of Cape Jasmine groups(P<0-05). Meanwhile, the impaired function of the rats induced by IBO significantly improved in the medium dose group(P<0-01). The electric shock latent period in step-through box test prolonged and the frequency of electric shock decreased within 3 minutes in three groups.ConclusionCrude extract of Cape Jasmine can improve the learning and memory function of mice or rat in the model group.
