ABSTRACT

Aim To explore the feasibility of the micro- dynamic chromogenic method for quantitative detection of bacterial endotoxin in recombinant novel coronavirus vaccine ( CHO cell). Methods The micro-dynamic color method of Limulus reagent was used to establish a bacterial endotoxin standard curve. The dilution factor was determined through interference pre -experiment, the recoverv rate of the endotoxin added to the test so- J lution was determined, and the interference test to complete the quantitative detection test of the bacterial endotoxin content in the test product was performed, and the results were compared with those of the gel-clot method. Results Hie linear range of the concentration of the standard curve was 0.02 to 2.0 EU • mL 1 , and the regression equation of the standard curve was lgT =-0.302 7 lgC +2.858 7( r = 0.998 9).When recombinant novel coronavirus vaccine ( CHO cell) was cliluted 40 times or below, the micro -dynamic chromogenic reagent did not interfere with the bacterial endotoxin agglutination reaction, and the recovery rate was 50% to 200%.The test results were consistent with the gel- clot method. Conclusions The micro-dynamic chromogenic method can be used for the quantitative detection of bacterial endotoxins in recombinant novel coronavirus vaccine ( CHO cell) with accurate results, high sensitivity, and process monitoring.

ABSTRACT

Taking the myth of Perseus as the reference point for his paper, the author writes a brief overview on the psychoanalytic institution in general. When the author writes about the psychoanalytic institution of São Paulo, he emphasizes its moments and founding acts, from which all the institutional "ballast" and weight would derive. The author believes everybody must critically distinguish that ballast from that weight in order to enable Psychoanalysis to keep its original vigor.

ABSTRACT

Language Evaluation Scale Trivandrum (LEST:3-6 years) with 31-items, was validated against ‘extended REELS’ with a community sample-606 children (3-6yrs). One item and two item delay as ‘LEST delay’ showed a sensitivity of (81%, 47%); specificity (68%, 94%), PPV (12%, 31%); NPV (98%, 97%) and accuracy (68.5%, 92%), respectively. LEST (3-6years) is a simple, valid, community screening tool.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To develop and validate a simple screening tool which can be used in the Community to identify delay in language development among children of 0-3 years of age. Methods: The normal range for the 33-items of “Language Evaluation Scale Trivandrum for 0-3years-LEST(0-3)” were carefully selected from various existing language development charts and scales, by experts keeping in mind the face validity and content validity. The criterion validity was assessed using a community sample of 643 children of 0 to 3 years of age, including 340 (52.9%) boys. LEST (0-3) was validated against Receptive Expressive Energent Language Scale, for screening delay in language development among children of 0-3 years. Results: When one item delay was taken as ‘LEST delay’ (test positive), the sensitivity and specificity of LEST(0-3), was found to be 95.85% and 77.5%, respectively with a negative predictive value of 99.8% and LR (negative) of 0.05.When two item delay was taken as ‘LEST delay’ (test positive), the sensitivity and specificity of LEST(0-3), was found to be 66.7% and 94.8% respectively with a negative predictive value of 98.7% and LR (negative) of 0.35. The test-retest and inter-rater reliability were good and acceptable (Inter-class correlation of 0.69 for testretest and 0.94 for inter-rater). Conclusion: LEST (0-3) is a simple, reliable and valid screening tool for use in the community to identify children between 0-3 years with delay in language development, enabling early intervention practices.

ABSTRACT

The aim of this article is to present the outlines of a theoretical approach that was initiated in the German Democratic Republic at the epoch of the Berlin Wall. Two books are especially important for their presentation of the theoretical principles that were borrowed frommaterial dialecticism and also for their reports on the empirical research that was effectuated in the new theoretical framework. The first edition of the book Einführung in die MarxistischeSozialpsychologie (Introducing Marxist Social Psychology) was published in 1966 and authored by Hans Hiebsch and Martin Vorwerg. The same authors edited in 1979 a collective book Sozialpsychologie in which participated also eleven more colleagues. The present article presents also the assessment by the authors about the compatibility or incompatibility of their new research approaches with well established social psychological approaches in North America andWestern Europe.
