ABSTRACT
After a subject service level assessment system was established by investigating the subject service in medical libraries of 5 Guangdong universities with LibQUAL +questionnaire, the needs of users for subject service were analyzed using Ridit and product scale respectively, which showed that the users are more interested inserv-ice effectiveness and control of resources and information than subject librarians.

After a description of the improved data analysis methods and tools of LibQual+, its integration with other evaluation tools and multiple development trends of evaluated contents, the new development trends of LibQual+were analyzed, such as changes in its data analysis model, tools and methods, its integration with other tools and new development of its evaluation contents in order to provide reference for assessing the information service in domestic libraries.
ABSTRACT
Described in this paper are the new development trends of LibQual+in foreign libraries, such as its modified analysis techniques, its perfected analysis methods, integrated LibQual+and other evaluation tools, further application of LibQual+evaluation analysis results.The successful application of LibQual+data analysis in University of California and University of York is a good inspiration to the domestic libraries.
