ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the practicability of the pressure sore management forms and its effect on improving the nurses' reported compliance rates on high-risk pressure sores and external pressure sores and the passing rate of nursing records. Methods With aided designs as forms, icons and notes,making a comparative analysis on high-risk pressure sores and external pressure sore between 433 cases in 2010(the observation group) and 205 cases in 2009(the control group). Designing and applying the pressure sore management forms, including four kinds of forms: the high-risk assessment form, high-risk pressure sores declaration sheet, the external pressure sore report form, pressure sore prevention and care record sheet, then applied them in the observation group. Results Compared with the control group, all aspects like the compliance rates of nurses' reports on high-risk pressure sores and external pressure sore, the passing rate of nursing records, the healing and improvement rates were obviously increased, the occurrence rate of high-risk pressure sores decreased. Conclusions The pressure sore management forms can help nurses for accurate assessing high-risk pressure sores and external pressure sores, also can help to increase the healing and improvement rate and to enhance the quality of nursing records.

ABSTRACT

Sabendo que a organização do trabalho causa impacto na vida psíquica do trabalhador e tendo como objetivo analisar as implicações comportamentais do assédio moral para o indivíduo, para a organização e para a sociedade, sob o ponto de vista de um trabalhador, vítima de assédio moral, foi realizado um estudo de caso único, de âmbito individual, baseado na sua história de vida, na qual foi feito um corte seccional com perspectiva longitudinal, fazendo-se uso de várias fontes de evidências. O caso escolhido para análise foi o de um bancário do sexo masculino, que participou do processo de privatização do banco em que trabalhava, sofreu assédio moral vertical descendente, buscou ajuda no sindicato da categoria e, diagnosticado com depressão, foi afastado de seu trabalho. Como resultado, confirmou-se a teoria analisada, que define as implicações do assédio moral no trabalho em consequências individuais, organizacionais e sociais. Concluiu-se que a forma de gestão e a organização do trabalho tiveram relação com a ocorrência do assédio moral. Com isso, sugere-se um trabalho conjunto entre trabalhadores, responsáveis pelas organizações, sindicatos, profissionais da saúde e o Estado, para que adotem medidas preventivas, de forma a tornar o ambiente de trabalho isento de assédio moral.


It is widely known that the work organization has impact on the psychological life of workers. The objective of this paper is to analyze the behavior implications of moral harassment not only on the individual, but also on the organization and society. In order to do that, a single case was studied, on the individual level, based on a longitudinal perspective, using several sources of evidences. The case chosen for the analysis was of a male bank employee, participating in the process of privatization of the bank where he worked, who suffered vertical descendent moral harassment. This subject sought help from the labor union, and being diagnosed with depression, was removed from his duties. As a result, the theory on moral harassment was confirmed, which defines the implications of moral harassment at work as consequences at individual, organizational and social levels. Therefore, it can be concluded that forms of management and work organization have a close relationship with moral harassment. This suggests that workers, organization managers, labor unions, health professionals and society work together, adopting preventive measures so as to eradicate moral harassment from work.
