ABSTRACT

Agile is the way we look at things happening around us. Agile is a behavior pattern, how you look at the world's complex situations, how you react to situations, how you visualize a solution, how you reach the solution. You can either think of a complex problem or a situation and worry about it or you break that into meaningful small chinks & try to solve it. Agile adds that fun element of tackling smaller challenges systematically. As we move from the traditional hierarchical working to self-managing and agility, it is evident for teams to see the radical shift in people's day-to-day behaviors. These new ways of working bring in an increased sense of ownership, proactive, open communication, accepting failures, and more importantly trust and transparency among team members. Agile maturity assessments are tools or processes used to evaluate and measure an organization's or team's level of agility and their effectiveness in implementing Agile principles and practices. These assessments help identify areas of strength and improvement, enabling organizations to enhance their Agile adoption and transformation journey

Introducción: el Ministerio de Salud Pública de Cuba realiza numerosos esfuerzos por garantizar la informatización de sus procesos, donde la superación profesional representa un eslabón fundamental. La Escuela Nacional de Salud Pública implementa la Maestría en Informática en Salud, dirigida a los profesionales del sector que participan en el proceso de informatización. Sin embargo, el programa actual no se enfoca hacia el desarrollo de habilidades técnicas de los especialistas informáticos. Objetivo: diseñar el programa académico de la Maestría en Informática Médica Aplicada, enfocado al desarrollo de habilidades técnicas de los especialistas informáticos, que desde su puesto de trabajo contribuyen a la informatización de la salud pública cubana. Materiales y métodos: la investigación tiene un enfoque cualitativo, con alcance descriptivo, de tipo retrospectivo y diseño no experimental, de corte longitudinal. Se realizó un análisis documental, donde se identificaron las bases teóricas y los programas académicos existentes, que fundamentan el diseño curricular presentado. Resultados: se diseñó la propuesta de programa académico de la Maestría en Informática Médica Aplicada, con una estructura de 78 créditos. Cuenta con tres bloques de cursos básicos y especializados en temas de salud e informática. Es coordinado por la Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas en colaboración con la Escuela Nacional de Salud Pública. Conclusiones: el programa implementado es pertinente y contribuye al desarrollo de habilidades técnicas en los especialistas informáticos, que participan en el proceso de informatización de la salud pública cubana, muestra de ello lo constituyen las estadísticas de la primera edición en curso de la maestría.


Introduction: The Cuban Ministry of Public Health makes numerous efforts to guarantee the computerization of its processes, where professional improvement represents a fundamental link. The National School of Public Health implements the Master´s Degree in Health Informatics aimed at managers of the sector who participate in the computerization process. However, the current program does not focus on developing the technical skills of computer specialists. Objective: To design the academic program of the Master´s Degree in Applied Medical Informatics, focused on the development of technical skills of computer specialists who, from their work position, contribute to the computerization of the Cuban public health. Material and methods: The research has a qualitative approach and a descriptive, retrospective, non-experimental, longitudinal design. A documentary analysis was carried out, where the theoretical bases and existing academic programs were identified, which underpin the presented curriculum design. Results: The proposed academic program for the Master´s Degree in Applied Medical Informatics was designed, with a structure of 78 credits. It has three blocks of basic and specialized courses in health and computer science topics. It is coordinated by the University of Informatics Sciences in collaboration with the National School of Public Health. Conclusions: The implemented program is relevant and contributes to the development of technical skills in computer specialists who participate in the process of computerization of Cuban public health, which is evidenced by the statistics of the first ongoing edition of the master´s program.

ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT Scientific research in the field of sports management and its respective academic improvement has been pointed out and recognised by several authors as the path to follow for a better understanding of its importance in the global development of sport, as well as in the improvement of academic curricula and skills of sports managers. This study aims to analyse the scientific and academic production of three Portuguese public universities, being this the main source and origin of the knowledge generated over the last decades. Methodologically, we analysed 193 master dissertations successfully completed between 2008 and 2017 available in institutional scientific repositories, as well as in the national library. The results point to a growth of scientific knowledge in Portugal, validated by the considerable evolution in the number of completed works in distinct areas in sports management, mainly in the scope of planning and strategy, human resources and sociological aspects, which helps to reinforce its multidisciplinary and differentiating character. The data obtained allow us to expose a considerable part of the knowledge produced in Portugal, thus contributing to the strengthening of some areas and future research in sports management, given that it is crucial to aggregate the existing knowledge by enhancing new paths and future opportunities. We conclude that research in Portugal reflects the global growth of scientific knowledge and the increasing interest in sports management, both at qualitative and quantitative levels, while also following international concerns and trends.


RESUMO A investigação científica no campo da gestão do desporto e a respetiva valorização académica, tem sido apontada e reconhecida por diversos autores como o caminho a percorrer para uma melhor compreensão da sua importância no desenvolvimento global do desporto, assim como na melhoria dos curricula académicos e respetivas competências dos gestores desportivos. Este estudo tem como objetivo a análise da produção científica e académica de três universidades públicas portuguesas, sendo esta a principal fonte e origem do conhecimento gerado ao longo das últimas décadas. Metodologicamente, analisámos 193 dissertações de mestrado concluídas com sucesso entre 2008 e 2017 e disponíveis nos repositórios científicos institucionais, assim como na Biblioteca Nacional. Os resultados apontam para um crescimento do conhecimento científico em Portugal, validado pela evolução considerável do número de trabalhos finalizados em diversas linhas de investigação da gestão do desporto, principalmente no âmbito do planeamento e estratégia, recursos humanos e aspetos sociológicos, pelo que ajudam a reforçar o seu carácter multidisciplinar e diferenciador. Os dados obtidos permitem explanar parte considerável do conhecimento produzido em Portugal, contribuindo assim para o reforço de algumas áreas e futuras investigações em gestão do desporto, sendo de vital importância agregar o conhecimento existente, potenciando novos caminhos e oportunidades futuras. Concluímos que a investigação em Portugal reflete o crescimento global do conhecimento científico e o interesse cada vez maior na gestão do desporto, quer em níveis qualitativos quer quantitativos, ao mesmo tempo que segue as preocupações e tendências internacionais.

ABSTRACT

Analisa as formas de busca e uso de informações de mestres de RPG. A partir do conceito de comportamento informacional, discute o quanto o conceito de imaginário se consagra fundamental na composição das dinâmicas do jogo. Problematiza essas dinâmicas considerando os conceitos de necessidade busca e compartilhamento de informações. A metodologia de cunho qualitativo se estruturou a partir da Técnica de Análise de Conteúdo (BARDIN, 2016) de acordo com o critério semântico dos textos explicitados. As análises permitem afirmar que o processo de criação ocorre fundamentado na ausência de padrões, tendo por referência a conjunção de diferentes aspectos em relação ao do uso de fontes formais e informais associadas à internet. A busca de informações está relacionada a aspectos instrumentais e lógicos do jogo e as motivações elencadas têm como referência a socialização e a colaboração entre os participantes do jogo.


It analyzes the ways of searching and using information from RPG masters. From the concept of informational behavior, it discusses how fundamental the concept of the imaginary is enshrined in the composition of the dynamics of the game. It problematizes these dynamics considering the concepts of need to search and share information. The qualitative methodology was structured based on the Content Analysis Technique (BARDIN, 2016) according to the semantic criteria of the explicit texts. The analyzes allow to affirm that the creation process occurs based on the absence of standards, having as reference the conjunction of different aspects in relation to the use of formal and informal sources associated with the internet. The search for information is related to instrumental and logical aspects of the game and the motivations listed are based on socialization and collaboration between game participants.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To explore the prescription medication rule of the first batch of Chinese medicine masters in treating acute stage of stroke by using the data mining method. Methods: The experience books and published journal articles of Chinese medicine masters and the shared medical records of national famous TCM studios in the cloud platform V1.5 of ancient and modern medical records were searched; The first batch of national physician master data for the treatment of acute phase of stroke was selected; A standardized basis database, standardization of medicines were established after using statistical analysis of system integration, association rules analysis, methods of complex networks; The formula frequency, medicinal, and core prescription drugs were analyzed. Results: A total of 142 medical cases were eventually included. The frequency results of traditional Chinese medicine showed that 14 kinds of high-frequency traditional Chinese medicine were obtained, including Pheretima, Chuanxiong Rhizoma, Persicae Semen, etc., and most of the drugs were warm, smooth, bitter, sweet, and return to liver and lung meristem. The results showed that the frequency of chordal pulse and tongue red was the most. A total of 24 association rules and 18 TCM association rules were obtained by association rule analysis. Conclusion: In the treatment of acute apoplexy, the Chinese medicine master usually adopted the methods of clearing heat and relieving wind, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, eliminating phlegm and resuscitative medicinal, moving qi, and dredging collaterals, and stopping convulsions.

Introducción: La profesionalización de los docentes universitarios cobra particularmente importancia en la universidad actual. Objetivo: Diagnosticar las evidencias de las competencias profesionales de los docentes titulados en maestrías de la salud. Métodos: Se efectuó una investigación cualitativa, descriptiva y transversal, de abril a junio del 2018, de 59 docentes titulados en maestrías de la salud, pertenecientes a la Facultad de Enfermería-Tecnología de la Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de Santiago de Cuba, a los que se les aplicó un test de autovaloración para determinar sus experiencias relacionadas con la especialidad de base y las manifestaciones de las competencias profesionales. Resultados: De las 4 competencias profesionales preestablecidas en los programas de maestrías de la salud, solo se pudo identificar la investigativa en las evidencias del desempeño. Igualmente, se observó que la mayoría de los profesores tenían más de 3 años de graduados como másteres y, por ende, se les consideró como "con experiencia" para ejercer las competencias. Conclusiones: Los docentes con diferentes especialidades de base reflejaron las dificultades que pudieran existir en su profesionalización, las que serán validadas en otra fase del estudio.


Introduction: Professionalization of the university teaching staff has particular importance in the current university. Objective: To diagnose the evidences of the professional competences of the teaching staff graduated as health masters. Methods: A qualitative, descriptive and cross-sectional investigation was carried out, from April to June, 2018, to 59 members of the teaching staff, belonging to the Nursing-Technology Faculty of the Medical Sciences University in Santiago de Cuba, to whom a self-evaluation test was applied to determine their experiences related to the main specialty and the professional competences manifestations. Results: Of the 4 preset professional competences in the health masters programs, just the investigative one could be identified in the evidences of their performance. Equally, it was observed that most of the professors had more than 3 years of graduate as masters and so, they were considered as "professionals with experience" to exercise the competences. Conclusions: The teaching staff with different main specialties showed the difficulties that could exist in their professionalization, which will be validated in another stage of the study.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To analyze medication rules of national medical masters in the treatment of stomachache by data mining. Method: Prescriptions were collected from 9 works as well as the first batch of national medical masters' medical cases and prescriptions for stomachache recorded in CNKI. Then, Microsoft Excel 2016 was adopted for analyzing the frequencies, properties, flavors and meridian tropisms of herbs, the Apriori algorithm provided by SPSS Clementine 12.0 software was used to analyze association rules of the herbs, and factor analysis was conducted by SPSS 19.0 software. Result: A total of 175 prescriptions containing 230 herbs were selected. The top five herbs used in frequency ranking were Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, Paeoniae Radix Alba, Pinelliae Rhizoma, Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma, Poria. The medical properties with high usage frequency were warm, mild and slight cold. The flavors were sweet, bitter and pungent. Meridian tropisms were spleen, stomach and lung. Herbs for regulating Qi, tonifying Qi and promoting digestion ranked top three according to the classification of efficacy. The association rules analysis showed that the highest confidence and support of the related drugs was Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma→Codonopsis Radix-Poria, which reflected treatment characteristics of national medical masters with Sijunzitang as the basic prescription for tonifying Qi. A total of 12 strongly association rules of 2-drug pairs were obtained by association rules, and the most commonly used of which was Paeoniae Radix Alba-Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma. Nine common factors were respectively extracted by factor analysis. Conclusion: Herbs used in the prescriptions of national medical masters for treatment of stomachache are often with the actions of regulating Qi, invigorating deficiency and benefiting Qi, in addition, Shaoyao Gancaotang is often used to generate Yin and relieve pain.

O presente artigo apresenta a trajetória da capoeira no Brasil. Inicialmente o histórico desta manifestação cultural é descrito, por meio do estudo da bibliografia pertinente ao tema, bem como a análise de entrevistas com capoeiristas mineiro. O foco principal deste trabalho é pontuar o momento de criminalização da prática no país e a trajetória que levou à valorização da roda de capoeira e do ofício dos mestres de capoeira pelo IPHAN. Neste contexto, são debatido as políticas de preservação do patrimônio cultural imaterial no Brasil.


This article presents the trajectory of capoeira in Brazil. Initially the historical of this cultural manifestation is described, through the study of the bibliography pertinent to the theme, as well as the analysis of interviews with capoeiristas from Minas Gerais. The main focus of this work is to point out the moment of criminalization of the practice in the country and the trajectory that led to the valorization of the capoeira wheel and the capoeira masters craft by IPHAN. In this context, the policies for the preservation of intangible cultural heritage in Brazil are discussed.

[Objective]To discuss the syndrome differentiation and treatment of classical prescription of ZHANG Zhongjing.[Method]Listing relevant literature and quoting physicians' views on book and combining theory and practice to discuss and distill from the application of thinking methods of syndrome differentiation. [Results] "Treatise on Cold Pathogenic Diseases" fully reflects the syndrome differentiation thoughts, where can be concluded syndrome differentiation and treatment and the method of treatment.Catching the main syndrome means when facing with a specific syndrome can be used to catch the main character of method. And the correspondence between recipe and syndrome is the prescription consistent with the pathogenesis and symptoms of disease which is a prerequisite for syndrome differentiation and treatment.Meanwhile,syndrome differentiation and treatment is a principle of step by step treatment that according to the symptoms and signs of patients,sum up syndrome type,and then prescribe and select drugs at some stage in the disease.And it is also a thinking mode of classical prescription extended application by pathogenesis analysis. Those constitute the three main lines of the thinking method of differentiation.[Conclusion]Accurate differentiation and the prescription are consistented with the syndrome type of"Treatise on Cold Pathogenic Diseases"exert far-reaching influence on the use and perfect syndrome differentiation and treatment,which inspire future generations of doctors.Therefore, it deserves further study. Syndrome differentiation of application thought of classical prescriptions profoundly promotes the development of Chinese traditional medical thinking;the theory has profound significance for clinical practice.

ABSTRACT

Nurses play a key role in disaster prevention, delivery and management of care in disaster situations. Training high education level and enhancing disaster core competencies of disaster nurses are essential part in response to mass casualty incidents and reserving the nursing talent. Masters′degree of disaster nurses began in 2013 in China. At that time, disaster nursing task force was composed of faculty members from both the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and School of Nursing in Sichuan University, and then, students of disaster nursing were enrolled by School of Nursing in Shandong University and Chuanbei College. Masters′ degree training programme of disaster relief nurses was not perfect in China. This paper reviewed the studies on masters′degree training programme of disaster relief nurses.

Em março de 1966, o Departamento de Psicologia da PUC-Rio implantou o primeiro Curso de Mestrado em Psicologia do país, sob a Coordenação do Pe. Antonius Bënko. O Curso de Doutorado foi iniciado em 1985. Com grande tradição na área da Psicologia Clínica e com incontestável liderança no cenário nacional, até o ano de 2016, quando comemorou seus 50 anos, o Programa de Pós-graduação em Psicologia da PUC-Rio titulou 793 mestres e 196 doutores15


This document retells part of the 50 years of history of the Graduate Pro-gram in Psychology of PUC-Rio, emphasizing its pioneering spirit, its innovation initiatives, and its considerable resilience in the formation and production of knowledge. In March 1966, the Department of Psychology of PUC-Rio established the first Masters in Psychology Program in Brazil, under the coordination of P. Antonius Bënko. In 1985, the Department established its PhD Program. The Graduate Program in Psychology of PUC-Rio, with its significant tradition in the field of Clinical Psychology and its undeniable leadership on the national scene, up until 2016, when it celebrated its 50-year anniversary, awarded 793 master’s degrees and 196 doctoral degrees.


Este texto narra un poco la historia de los 50 años del Programa de Posgrado en Psicología de PUC-Rio, destacando su pionerismo, sus iniciativas de innovación y su gran capacidad de resiliencia en la formación y producción de conocimiento. En marzo de 1966, el Departamento de Psicología de PUC-Rio implantó el primer Curso de Maestría en Psicología de Brasil, bajo la coordinación del P. Antonius Bënko. El Curso de Doctorado fue iniciado en 1985. Con gran tradición en el área de la Psicología Clínica y con incontestable liderazgo en el escenario nacional, hasta el año 2016, cuando celebró sus 50 años, el Programa de Posgrado en Psicología de PUC-Rio tituló 793 maestros y 196 doctores.

ABSTRACT

O estudo tem por objetivo a análise das estruturas curriculares com foco na relação teoria prática de três cursos de mestrado profissional em saúde coletiva no Brasil, discutindo as abordagens de formação e seu direcionamento às demandas dos serviços de saúde.Orientado pelos referenciais da sociologia da educação, educação crítica e acreditação pedagógica, a pesquisa visou à qualidade de aproximação e diálogo entre academia e serviços de saúde, à problematização e à interdisciplinaridade. Empregando a abordagem qualitativa, o estudo analisou a experiência de docentes e coordenadores de três cursos de mestrado profissional avaliados ao longo dos últimos dez anos pela Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento do Ensino Superior, com análise documental da legislação pertinente e propostas de cursos, e entrevistas. A análise de conteúdo permitiu relacionar os termos mais recorrentes dos dados da pesquisa com as hipóteses do estudo. Como principais achados, verifica-se que apesar de haver uma intencionalidade de maior articulação academia contexto profissional, não foram apresentadas novas abordagens no processo de ensino aprendizagem para que esta articulação acontecesse regularmente e embasada num referencial teórico metodológico próprio. Não foram observadas estratégias de avaliação qualitativa e processual para os cursos de mestrado profissional. Conclui-se que, a potencialidade do mestrado profissional funcionar de forma mais aplicada depende de uma organização curricular em função do perfil e necessidades do público a ser atendido, associada às áreas de conhecimento e expertise das instituições de ensino formadoras, com vistas a um retorno mais objetivo aos serviços do Sistema Único de Saúde.


The aim of this study is to analyze the curricular structures of three courses ofprofessional masters of public health in Brazil, with a focus on the relationship betweentheory and practice, by discussing the training approaches offered, and how they cater to thedemands of health services. Guided by references in sociology of education, critical educationand pedagogical accreditation, this research aimed at the quality, problematization, andinterdisciplinarity of the approaches and dialogue between academia and health services.Using qualitative methods, the study examined the experience of teachers and coordinators ofthree professional masters programs that have been evaluated over the last ten years by theCoordination of Improvement of Higher Education, using documentary analysis of therelevant legislation and course proposals, in addition to interviews. The content analysisallowed us to relate the most recurrent terms of the research data to the hypothesis of thestudy. The main findings are that despite the intentionality of a greater articulation betweenprofessional academia and non-academic settings, no new approaches were introduced in theteaching-learning process in order for this articulation to take place regularly with its ownspecific theoretical-methodological framework. A qualitative and procedural evaluationstrategy for professional master’s programs was not found. The study concluded that thepotential of professional masters to function in a more applied way in the practical fielddepends on a curricular reorganization according to the profile and needs of the target public,in conjunction with the areas of knowledge and expertise of the training institutions, so as toobtain a more objective result from the services of the Unified Health System.Keywords: post-graduate education; masters.

[Results] LI Dongyuan from dampness, heat, wind, dryness four on the treatment of anal fistula, with angelica, Gentiana and blood dryness of medicine, to Shufeng pain, Xinrun and blood on regulation of syndrome treatment, paid attention to diet to restore the anal fistula. [Conclusion] LI DongyuanLanshi Micangis rich in content, the treatment of anal fistula has experience, as of today, the diagnosis and treatment on anorectal diseases of clinical thought still has important guiding significance.

[Objective]To explore LIU Wansu's methods in treating fire and heat disease from depression of yang qi.[Methods]To analyse LIU Wansu's understanding of fire and heat disease and highlight its treatment from depression of yang qi through reading his works like Exploration to Pathogenesis in Plain Questions,Yellow Emperor's Plain Questions on Xuanminglun Formulae and so on.[Results]LIU Wansu had profound medical knowledge,rich clinical experience and initiative spirit.Under the guidance of nineteen items of pathogenesis from Huangdi's Canon of Medicine,he expanded fire and heat disease and put up six exogenous pathogenic factors can transfer to fire theory.To be specific,excessive wind,cold,dampness and dryness would block Xuan Fu and depress yang qi,causing fire and heat disease.He regardeddepression of yang qi as a key link in six exogenous pathogenic factors' transferring to fire and put up cooling combined with ventilating method to dissipate depressed yang qi,including relieving exterior syndrome with pungent-cool drugs,clearing depressed heat,relieving exterior and interior syndrome,eliminating dampness and relieving depression as well as combination of cold and warm drugs.[Conclusion]LIU Wansu treated fire and heat disease from depression of yang qi,providing new methods in treating fire and heat disease for later generations as well as guiding significance in current clinical work.

[Objective]Combing the application of ginseng in the past physicians to make readers understand the efficacy of ginseng,and to be flexible in order to better serve human health.[Methods]Through consulting the ancient books of materia medica,the understanding of the ancient physicians and the application of hanren formulae were summarized and analyzed.[Results]Although the ancient physicians of the past believed that ginseng was subject to tonify five organs,quiet spirt,set soul,stop fright,remove pathogen,in addition to bright eye,happy,educational. long taking makes people fit and live longer,but with the development of the times,the Han dynasty in to nifying Qi torelieve thirst,tonify Qi for deficiency,the Tang dynasty in tonifying heart Qi,benefiting heart spirit,the Song dynasty in complement,benefiting Qi,the Ming dynasty in benefiting qi,Qing dynasty in tonifying Qi and Yin,modern in emergency first aid application.[Conclusion]Through the analysis of the application of ginseng in past dynasties,the complement ginseng can be more widely used in clinic,and better serve human health.

ABSTRACT

Un requisito para demostrar la vigencia de un programa de posgrado es la evaluación de su pertinencia social. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo describir los resultados de la evaluación de la pertinencia social del programa de maestría Humanidades Médicas. Se muestran sus características esenciales derivadas de los procesos realizados en el Centro para el Desarrollo de las Ciencias Sociales y Humanísticas en Salud; se define la pertinencia social y sus indicadores como conceptos esenciales para la evaluación de los procesos del posgrado; por último, se presenta la metodología y su aplicación en el proceso de evaluación. Se realizó triangulación metodológica de fuentes de datos provenientes de encuestas y entrevistas a profesores, maestrantes de la edición actual y de egresados; además, datos de los informes de autoevaluación y de la comisión técnica en el proceso de evaluación externa para la acreditación acaecida en marzo de 2016.


A requisite for demonstrating the validity of a postgraduate program is the assessment of its social relevance. This work aims to describe evaluative results related to the social relevance of the Masters of Science in Medical Humanities degree. The evaluation process was carried out in the Health Humanities and Social Sciences Development Centre of Camaguey. Social relevance and related indicators were defined and considered for this specific master's degree level evaluation. The methodology and its application in the evaluation process are presented. Data triangulation between surveys collected and interviews granted from faculty, current students of the Medical Humanities program, and graduates of the department was utilized. Additionally, data from self-evaluation reports and from the external evaluation technical commission for accreditation in March 2016 were considered in the data triangulation.

A partir de resultados de pesquisas realizadas na última década, no contexto da pós-graduação stricto sensu, discute-se o impacto da formação pós-graduada e seus limites. Acúmulo recente de trabalhos críticos ao produtivismo acadêmico leva a refletir sobre o papel dos egressos da pós-graduação na sociedade. A expansão dos cursos de pós-graduação resultou em que muitos mestres e doutores exercem atividades distintas da docência superior, para a qual, até meados da década de 1990, tais cursos se destinavam. Nesses outros espaços não é possível reproduzir o que se aprendeu no curso. Como empregar os resultados de pesquisa em espaços laborais? A pergunta não costuma ser discutida durante a formação. Historicamente deposita-se na ciência esperanças de melhorias para a vida; porém, qual o impacto efetivo das pesquisas/publicações. O emprego de resultados de pesquisa no mundo do trabalho e nas comunidades requer processos que não foram aprendidos na pós-graduação; nela se aprende investigar sob orientação, produzir tese ou dissertação, produzir e publicar artigos, participar de eventos científicos. Se o egresso publicou em periódicos “Qualis” (de preferência internacionais e em inglês) cumpriu com as expectativas dos órgãos avaliadores/financiadores da pós-graduação. E a contribuição com a sociedade? Que benefícios têm as comunidades/regiões com a instalação em seus territórios de profissionais que aprenderam a pesquisar? Busca-se evidenciar neste trabalho a relevância de fomentar comunidades científicas locais, que criem sinergia entre egressos da pós-graduação e outros protagonistas sociais, instalados num determinado território, para impactar o desenvolvimento econômico e social.


Based on results of research carried out in the last decade, in the context of Postgraduate courses (Masters and PHD). We discuss the impact of postgraduate training and its limits. Recent critical works to academic productivity leads to reflect on the role of the researchers and the impact of their work in society. The expansion of the Brazilian’s system resulted in many masters and doctors performing spaces that are not higher education system, for which was oriented that training until the mid-1990s. In these other spaces it is not possible to reproduce what was learned in the course. How to employ search results in several workspaces, out of universities? The problem is not enough discussed, during training. Historically, many hopes of humanity have been expected from science, for improvements in social-well-being. The use of research results in the work posts requires processes that have not been learned in the courses; learns are about investigate under guidance, producing thesis or dissertation, papers and scientific congress. If juniors masters and PHDs publishes in excellent journals (preferably international, in English) they satisfy expectations of evaluating/funding organisms. What about contribution to society? What benefits have communities that keeps professionals that are able to research? This article seeks to explain the relevance of promoting local scientific communities, which may create synergy between professionals capable of research and other social actors installed in territory, to impact economic and social development.


A partir de resultados de investigaciones realizadas en la última década en el contexto de Posgrado brasileño (PG), discutimos el impacto de este nivel de formación y sus límites. Recientes trabajos críticos al productivismo académico llevan a reflexionar sobre el papel de los egresados de PG en la sociedad. La expansión del sistema resultó en que muchos mestres y doctores actúen en actividades fuera de la universidad. Hasta mitad de los 1990, el PG calificaba profesores para la universidad. En otros espacios laborales no es posible reproducir lo que se aprendió en el curso de PG. Como utilizar los resultados de las investigaciones en los demás espacios sociales es una pregunta que prácticamente no se presenta durante la formación. Se ha depositado en la ciencia esperanzas de una vida mejor; pero, cual ha sido el impacto efectivo de las publicaciones? La aplicación de resultados de investigación en el mundo del trabajo requiere más que publicaciones, procesos que no se aprendieron en el PG; en este se aprende a investigar con orientación, a producir tesis, publicar artículos, participar en eventos científicos. Si el egresado publica en periódicos prestigiosos, en inglés, cumplió con las expectativas de los órganos evaluadores de PG. Y como se colabora con la sociedad? Que beneficios tienen las comunidades con la presencia de profesionales que pesquisan? Intentamos evidenciar la relevancia en fomentar comunidades científicas locales, que creen sinergias entre los egresados de PG y otros protagonistas sociales del territorio, para impactar el desarrollo económico y social.

ABSTRACT

En el artículo describimos la inserción laboral de los graduados y graduadas de la Maestría en Educación de la Universidad del Tolima, en comparación con los de otras universidades, teniendo como ventana de análisis el lapso entre 2009 y 2013. Inicialmente abordamos algunas consideraciones conceptuales y de orden normativo sobre los sujetos graduados, y la importancia de evaluar el impacto laboral de un posgrado en ellos. Fundamentamos la metodología en el procesamiento y análisis de datos suministrados por el Observatorio Laboral para la Educación. Entre las conclusiones cabe destacar que el perfil de egreso presenta alta correspondencia con el campo de desempeño de los individuos graduados, toda vez que la educación y la administración del sistema educativo son las dos actividades con mayor porcentaje de personas graduadas vinculadas a empleos formales -24% y 64% respectivamente.


The article describes the employment of graduates of the Master of Education from the University of Tolima compared to other universities, with the analysis window the period between 2009 and 2013. Initially deals with some conceptual and normative order considerations on graduates and the importance of evaluating the impact of a graduate work in them. The methodology is based on the processing and analysis of data provided by the Labor Observatory for Education. The conclusions include the graduate profile has high correspondence with the field performance of graduates, since education and administration of the education system are the two activities with the highest percentage of graduates linked to formal employment, and 24% 64% respectively.


O artigo descreve o emprego de graduados do Mestrado em Educação da Universidade de Tolima em comparação com outras universidades, com a janela de análise do período entre 2009 e 2013. Inicialmente lida com algumas considerações conceituais e normativas de ordem sobre graduados e a importância de avaliar o impacto de uma pós-graduação em-los. A metodologia baseia-se no processamento e análise dos dados fornecidos pelo Observatório do Trabalho para a Educação. As conclusões incluem o perfil de pós-graduação tem alta correspondência com o desempenho em campo de licenciados, uma vez que a educação ea administração do sistema de ensino são as duas atividades com maior percentagem de licenciados ligados ao emprego formal, e 24% 64%, respectivamente.

ABSTRACT

Objective] To explore core thought of Li Dongyuan’s spleen and gastric theory, grasp the basic spirit of Dongyuan theory, and better guide the clinic. [Method]Basing on some relevant theories from NeiJing, the eminent physician in Jin and Yuan Dynasties established the academic thought centering on regulating the spleen and stomach in treatment of the deficiencies. [Result]The thought revealed the cooperative function between invigorating Yang and tonifying middle-energizer and Qi. It also proposed the concept of “ Yin-fire” and the method of relieving high fever with drugs of sweet flavor and warm nature, creating a series of prescriptions of invigorating Yang and tonifying middle-energizer, which broadening the clinical treatment of traditional Chinese medicine. [Conclusion]The academic thought centered on adjusting spleen and stomach by raising Yang and tonifying Qi, broadens the TCM clinical therapy, today still effectively guides clinical practice.

ABSTRACT

Se presenta un caso de abdomen agudo en una gestante de 20 semanas, por una torsión anexial. Ante la ausencia de signos ecográficos compatibles con patología en los primeros momentos y el empeoramiento clínico, se solicitó una RMN que permitió la aproximación diagnóstica y facilitó la indicación urgente de cirugía abdominal. En el curso de la laparotomía se diagnosticó una hernia interna del anexo, con marcado componente vascular a través de un defecto del ligamento ancho, que obligó a la anexectomía. Tras el diagnóstico y el tratamiento realizado, la gestación continúa con buenos resultados materno-fetal. Estos orificios han sido presentados excepcionalmente como causa de hernias internas digestivas, urológicas y anexiales, siendo controvertido su origen, congénito, inflamatorio o traumático. Se repasan las pruebas complementarias indicadas en el manejo diagnóstico del dolor abdominal en el embarazo, incluyendo las últimas recomendaciones de la European Society of Urogenital Radiology-ESUR.


A case of acute abdomen in a pregnant 20 weeks is presented with an adnexal torsion. In the absence of pathologic ultrasound signs with in the early stages and clinical worsening, was requested an MRI that allowed the diagnostic approach and the indication for urgent abdominal surgery. During laparotomy was observed an internal adnexal hernia through a defect in the broad ligament, with marked vascular component which forced the adnexectomy. After the diagnosis and treatment performed, the pregnancy continues with good maternal and fetal outcomes. These defects were presented exceptionally as a cause of digestive, urological and adnexal internal hernias. The origin remains controversial, congenital, inflammatory or traumatic. Complementary tests in the diagnostic management of abdominal pain in pregnancy are reviewed, including the latest recommendations of the European Society of Urogenital Radiology-ESUR.
