ABSTRACT

As a new form of medical practice,narrative medicine has been paid much attention since it was put forward.In the view of "narrative ability",narrative medicine has a strong oriental temperament.In the literature and art tradition of our country,which has existed thousands of years ago,disease and narrative of medicine has always been an important topic.Oriental physician group,represented by Confucian doctor,has the strongest narrative ability.Medical temperament and quality,represented by narrative,can connect the western and eastern medical traditions and medical culture and become the starting point of modern Chinese medical spirit,which combines western medical technology and oriental culture.

Introducción: El arte de la medicina se define como el arte de curar; pero ¿qué es el arte de la medicina? ¿Cuál es su sentido originario? ¿Este sentido permite guiar la comprensión de la tradición médica en los albores del siglo XXI? Objetivo: Dar respuesta a la pregunta por el arte de la medicina, explorando su sentido originario para comprender la tradición médica en el siglo XXI. Material y métodos: Desde la hermenéutica filosófica, el estudio incluyó las siguientes fases: analítica, comprensiva, reconstructiva y crítica. Las categorías de análisis fueron: tradición médica, phýsis, téchne, saber y hacer médico, situación-límite. Resultados: Considerando la tradición médica se recuperan los conceptos de phýsis y téchne como elementos de los que surge el arte de la medicina. Se analiza su estructura mediante el saber y hacer médico circunscritos a un acompañamiento del ser humano por el mundo de la vida y, la situación-límite del paciente permite recuperar el consejo médico. Conclusión. El sentido originario del arte de la medicina consiste en que el ser humano tome conciencia de su estar-en-el-mundo, un estar abierto al otro para enfrentar cotidianamente su finitud mediante el consejo médico.


BACKGROUND: The art of medicine can be defined as the art of healing, but what is the art of medicine?, what is its original meaning?, does this meaning guide towards the comprehension of medical tradition in the beginnings of the 21st century? OBJECTIVE: To answer the question about the art of medicine, exploring its original meaning to comprehend medical tradition in the beginnings of the 21st century. MATERIAL AND METHODS: From the point of view of philosophical hermeneutics, the study included four phases: analytical, comprehensive, reconstructive and critical. The categories for analysis were: medical tradition, physis, téchne medical knowledge and practice, limiting-situation. RESULTS: In recovering medical tradition, physis and téchne are unveiled as the elements from which the art of medicine originates. The structure of the art of medicine is analyzed through medical knowledge and practice; the limiting-situation of the patient allows the recovery of medical counsel. CONCLUSION: The original meaning of the art of medicine is centered in the idea that the human being should become conscious of his being-in-the-world, a being open to the other. To face his finitude through the medical advice.
