ABSTRACT
The hotspots and frontiers in studies on medical information education were identified with key words cluster algorithm and burst words detection algorithm by making use of CiteSpaceⅢwith 540 papers on medical in-formation education published in core journals of medical information education from 2007 to 2016 as sample data, which showed that the 7 hotspots and frontiers in studies on medical information education from 2007 to 2016 in medical information education field of China and can thus provide support for keeping abreast of its development trend and working out its development strategies.

Along with the arrival of big data era, many countries have put forward different big data strategies according to their conditions, China promoted big data strategy to the national strategic level in 2015, training big data profes-sionals has thus become its top priority task. The new opportunity and challenge for medical information education were analyzed under the big data national strategy background and the orientation of medical information education strategy in our country was elaborated in this paper in order to provide experiences for training health and medical big data professionals in our country.

After a description of the application of education game in literature retrieval teaching and the practical activities of information literacy education game in our library, suggestions were put forward for the problems that need to be concerned in performing information literacy education game, namely pursuing the benefits and avoi-ding the hazards, making entertainment a medium of education, rational application of small game in classroom teaching, taking immediate action, and leaving it undone as it is small.

The theoretical basis, significance and feasibility of tutor system for undergraduates in medical informa-tion education were studied.It was considered that the tutor system for undergraduates is an effective means for training medical information talents as it can help the undergraduates to know what role they will play in itheir future po-sition and the professional knowledge they should master, ncrease their study interests and stimulate their study motives by providing the professional skill education service in an order form.The management model of tutor system for under-graduates was put forward according to the significant features of undergraduate course education and cross subjects, the various requirements of professional skills, and the low study motives in domestic medical information education.The problems to which attention should be paid in implementing the tutor system for undergraduates were elaborated .
