The control group was given traditional teaching, and the observation group was given integrated teaching of medical care. The theoretical scores, nursing operation, comprehensive quality, total scores and teaching satisfaction of the two groups were compared. SPSS 19.0 was used for t test. Results:The theoretical scores of the observation group and the control group were (96.31±0.85) points and (88.47±1.92) points, respectively. Nursing operation scores of observation group and control group were (95.18±2.06) points and (93.15±2.13) points. Comprehensive quality of observation group and control group were (96.23±1.48) points and (90.47±1.88) points. The total scores of the observation group and the control group were (96.83±1.27) points and (91.20±1.31) points, respectively. All the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05). Ther were significant differences between the two groups in terms of teaching satisfaction including teaching methods, contents, teachers' satisfaction and total satisfaction( P<0.05). ABSTRACT

Objective To study the status quo of nursing human resource configuration and structure of neonatology department in China's economically developed areas. Methods Using judgment sampling and multi-stage stratified sampling, investigations were conducted by the self-designed questionnaire in letter in 2012.Results In 2012,both the bed nurse ratio(1:0.79) and doctor nurse ratio (1: 1.22) met the Health Ministry's standards (1:0.58-0.61 and 1: 2) respectively.Age distribution of neonatology nursing staff was from 25 to 34 years old (55%).The distribution of wordng experience was average.Nurses with junior college degree as the main body took up 48%,with primary title as the main body 66%,and the appointment system accounted for 42%.The nursing personnel with young ages, senior skilled, higher education degree, and advanced titles were concentrated in Grade Ⅲ-A hospitals and public hospitals of women and children. In terms of distribution equity, two Gini coefficients of geographical and population distribution were both less than 0.35 and near zero, which indicated relatively perfect equity. Conclusions The stock and per capita of neonatology nursing human resources in China's economically developed areas were insufficient in the long run and showed imbalanced allocation among hospitals with different levels. The allocation structure failed to meet the needs of nursing disciplinary development.

ABSTRACT

Neonatology probation teaching is one of the difficulties in eight-year program pediatric teaching. There are some problems in the neonatology probation teaching, including partial comprehension of neonatal basic theoretical knowledge, few opportunities of clinical operations and observation, lack of effective physician-patient communication method, defective mastering of neonatal clinics skills. In order to refine the neonatology probation of eight-year program medical students and to improve the quality of hospitals' clinical teaching,an appropriate neonatology clerkship program of eightyear medical students should be investigated.A variety of teaching methods should be applied to enhance students' interest of learning the basic theory. Before entering the neonatal ward,it is necessary for eight-year program medical students to understand the workflow and a standard appraisal system should be established. At the same time,it is essential to strengthen the training of their interpersonal communication skills, clinical thinking and clinical skills. Finally,a standard out-department examination system should be established to evaluate the eight-year program medical students' neonatology learning effect objectively.
