ABSTRACT

Este artigo apresenta um levantamento da literatura especializada sobre práticas organizacionais. Na sua elaboração, foram referenciados estudos teóricos e empíricos, produzidos por autores nacionais e estrangeiros. Apesar de as práticas constituírem tema longevo e recorrente no campo organizacional, ao se analisar a literatura, identificam-se lacunas, as quais denunciam que as práticas ainda são um construto carente de aprofundamento epistêmico e metodológico. Assim, o presente artigo foi estruturado, tendo em vista, permitir uma visão geral sobre o tema, enfatizando a importância deste construto nos estudos organizacionais, bem como indicando as oportunidades de pesquisa decorrentes das lacunas identificadas.


This article identifies specialized literature about organizational practices. A review of theoretical and empiric studies, produced by national and foreign authors, gives support to the present study. In spite of the practices constituting a theme that has been studied for a long time in the organizational field, when the literature is reviewed, it is possible to identify gaps, which denounce that the practices present conceptual and methodological shortcomings. The present article was structured, to allow for a general vision on the theme, emphasizing the importance of this construct in the organizational studies, as well as indicating the current research opportunities arising from the identified gaps.

ABSTRACT

Both business study and practice have historically used the knowledge developed in other domains such as Biology, Psychology, and Psychiatry, among others. Analysis of general behaviors (leadership, motivation, consumer, etc.), identification andquantification of a tendency to take risks and make decisions, cognitive mechanisms adjacent to creative generation (essence of innovation),the role of elderly people in the organizational productive environment, among others, areexamples of administrative applications that require a new approach and a new attitude. Reorganization of neurons, maps and neural signatures, mirror neurons, plasticity, brainmachine interfaces, the role of neurotransmitters and modulators in the teaching-learning process and in the control of emotions, among others, are concepts whose domain will soon be requiredfrom managers because they are needed to future management practices. Thus, this study proposes to fi ll this current gap through a technical-scientific essay based on bibliographical references, establishing a bridge for reflection and problematizations within the field of the organizational studies (Management, Economy, Organizational Communication, and other related) , through suggestions, the new fi eld that now unfolds to business research and practice


Historicamente, tanto as pesquisas acadêmicas como as práticas organizacionais, tem se utilizado do conhecimento de outras áreas de conhecimento, como a Biologia, Psicologia e Psiquiatria, entre outros. Análise de comportamentos gerais (liderança, motivação, de consumo, etc.), a qualificação de tendências a assumir riscos e tomar decisões, mecanismos cognitivos adjacentes a geração criativa (essência da inovação), entre outros, são exemplos de aplicações administrativas que exigem uma nova atitude. Reorganização de neurônios, mapas e assinaturas neurais, os neurônios-espelho, plasticidade, interfaces cérebro-máquina, o papel dos neurotransmissores e moduladores do processo de ensino-aprendizagem e no controle das emoções, entre outros, são conceitos que futuramente deverão ser dominados pelos gestores organizacionais. Assim, este estudo se propõe a preencher esta lacuna corrente, estabelecendo uma ponte para reflexões e problematizações dentro do campo dos estudos organizacionais (Administração, Economia, Comunicação Organizacional e outros relacionados), através de um ensaio técnico-científico com base em referências bibliográficas, para evidenciar o novo campo que agora se desdobra para a pesquisa e as práticas organizacionais

ABSTRACT

Esta investigación identificó el clima ético en una Institución del estado relacionado con los factores de egoísmo, benevolencia y principios. El clima corresponde a las percepciones compartidas sobre lo que es una acción éticamente correcta y cómo los temas éticos son desarrollados en una Institución (Cullen y Víctor, 1988). Participaron en el estudio 63 funcionarios. Los resultados evidencian la presencia en la Institución del factor de benevolencia relacionado con las ideas de grupo y equipo, y el factor de principios por la tendencia a cumplir con normas y leyes establecidas en el cargo. Estos resultados confirman las prácticas de la Institución sobre los funcionarios y la coherencia con la formación impartida que se evalúa en el desempeño en el cargo.


The present investigation identifies ethics in the organizational environment of a government institution, related to factors such as: egocentrism, kindness or benevolence and principles. The organizational environment refers to the shared perception of an ethical action and how ethical situations are carried out in an institution (Cullen & Víctor, 1988). Participants included 63 workers in the institution. The results showed evidence that confirms the presence of benevolence, related to: team- group ideas and principles that are related to norms and laws carried out in the role. These results confirm the practices carried out by the institution, its workers, and its relevance with the formation evaluated by the performance in a role.

ABSTRACT

El presente estudio contribuye a entender la relación entre prácticas organizacionales saludables, confianza organizacional y engagement en el trabajo en equipo basándose en el Modelo de Organizaciones Saludables y Resilientes (HERO, Salanova, Llorens, Cifre, y Martínez, 2010) utilizando datos agregados a nivel de equipo. La muestra está compuesta por 518 empleados anidados en 55 equipos que pertenecen a 13 Pequeñas y Medianas Empresas (PyMEs) españolas. Las variables se agregaron a nivel de equipos utilizando el Coeficiente de Correlación Intraclase (CCI1 y CCI2). De acuerdo a lo esperado, los Modelos de Ecuaciones Estructurales revelaron que la confianza organizacional media de forma total la relación entre prácticas organizacionales saludables y engagement en el trabajo en equipo. Se discuten las implicaciones teóricas y prácticas del estudio.


The current study aims to contribute to our understanding of the relationship between healthy organizational practices, organizational trust and team work engagement. It is based on the Healthy &Resilient Organizations Model (Salanova, Llorens, Cifre, & Martínez, 2010) and examines 518 employees nested in 55 teams from 13 small-and medium-sized enterprises using data aggregated at the work-unit level. Healthy organizational practices, organizational trust and team work engagement were aggregated from team members’ perceptions using the Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC1and ICC2) taking the group as the referent. Structural Equation Modeling by AMOS revealed that, as expected, organizational trust plays a full mediating role among healthy organizational practices and team work engagement at the team. Theoretical and practical contributions based on the Healthy & Resilient Organizations Model are discussed.

ABSTRACT

O objetivo deste artigo é mostrar o modo como as práticas organizacionais e a cultura dos locais de trabalho podem levar a experiências de humilhação e a situações constrangedoras no trabalho. A discussão baseia-se em entrevistas realizadas no decorrer de 2007, com 20 trabalhadores de três fábricas de calçados localizadas no Ceará. A análise de conteúdo das entrevistas indicam que, apesar da humilhação e do constrangimento serem formas de violência conduzidas por indivíduos investidos de poder e autoridade na empresa, essas práticas transcendem as relações interpessoais e estão relacionadas às políticasde gestão organizacional centradas no estabelecimento de metas de produção a serem cumpridas pelos trabalhadores. As políticas determinam quanto e como produzir e, ao mesmo tempo, as relações interpessoais que se estabelecem dentro das fábricas.


The purpose of this paper is to show how organizational practices and workplace culture can lead to humiliating experiences and situations of harassment at work. The discussion is based on interviews conducted in 2007 involving 20 workers from three shoe industries located in Ceará (Brasil). The content analysis indicate that, although humiliation and harassment occur as individual acts of violence perpetrated by persons invested with power and authority in these industries, both transcend the limits of interpersonal relationships and are related to organizational management policies aiming at productivity goals.These policies determine how and how much should be produced at the same time that shape the interpersonal relations within factories.
