La preparación profesoral para el desarrollo de la motivación profesional en estudiantes de la carrera de medicina / Teaching training for the development of profesional motivation in students of Medicine studies

RESUMEN En la formación de profesionales de la salud los docentes deberán desarrollar la motivación de sus educandos, como parte primordial del proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje, e intervenir de manera efectiva en la formación intelectual y creación de valores, indispensables para el desarrollo de su profesión. Se formuló como objetivo analizar algunas consideraciones en la preparación profesoral para el desarrollo de la motivación profesional en estudiantes de la carrera de Medicina. Se reflexionó sobre la escasa formación pedagógica de los docentes, en su totalidad graduados en Medicina, lo que dificulta la capacidad de los mismos para desarrollar la motivación profesional de sus estudiantes.

ABSTRACT In the health professionals´ training, the teaching staff should develop motivation in students, as a main part of the teaching-learning process, and take effective part in the intellectual training and the formation of values that are essential for their professional development. The aim was analyzing some considerations on the professional training for the development of the professional motivation in students of Medicine studies. We though over the scarce pedagogical training of the teaching staff, all of them graduated from Medicine studies, what difficult their competence for developing the professional motivation of the students.

Caracterización del Encuentro Docente durante la evaluación del aprendizaje en la asignatura Morfofisiología Humana II / Characterization of the teaching meeting during the learning evaluation in Human Morphophysiology II

Se realizó un estudio de investigación que permitió la caracterización del Encuentro Docente en su momento de Evaluación del Aprendizaje en la asignatura Morfofisiología Humana II, en el Distrito Metropolitano de Caracas, República Bolivariana de Venezuela. Fueron sujetos del estudio una muestra de 80 profesores y 150 estudiantes. Se aplicó una encuesta a profesores, otra a estudiantes y la entrevista a informantes clave. La caracterización se realizó teniendo en cuenta la preparación científico pedagógica de los profesores, el dominio del tema por los estudiantes, las modalidades más empleadas para evaluar, los principales tipos de preguntas utilizados. Entre las recomendaciones del estudio se encuentran divulgar los resultados de la investigación en las reuniones metodológicas de los colectivos docentes, eventos y publicaciones científicas, hacer extensivo el estudio a otros estados del país y continuar el proceso de superación de los profesores en temas de evaluación, a través de las actividades de preparación metodológica, la superación profesional y profesoral

A research study was made to characterize the teaching meeting at the time of the evaluation of learning in subject called Human Morphophysiology II in metropolitan district of Caracas, Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. A sample of 80 professors and 150 students were the subjects under study. Two surveys were made, one for professors and the other for students, whereas the key informants were interviewed. The characterization took into account the scientific and pedagogic preparation of professors, the proficiency of students in the subject, the most used modalities for evaluation and the main types of questionnaires. Among the recommendations of the study were the dissemination of this research results in the methodological meetings of the faculties, in events and scientific publications; the carrying out of similar studies in other states of Venezuela and the permanent process of improvement in evaluation through methodological preparation activities, the professional and the professorial upgrading

La preparación profesoral en la impartición de la asignatura Morfofisiología Humana IV / The professors training to give the IV Human Morphophysiology subject

OBJETIVO: Identificar las necesidades de aprendizaje presentadas por los profesores para impartir la asignatura Morfofisiología Humana IV, y los criterios que tienen sobre la reunión de Preparación Metodológica en su preparación y desempeño docente. MÉTODOS: Se encuestaron 40 profesores del Nuevo Programa de Formación de Médicos (NPFM). RESULTADOS: Mostraron que el nivel de dificultad presentado en el desarrollo de la asignatura estuvo entre las categorías bajo y medio y que los criterios sobre la reunión de preparación metodológica son positivos. CONCLUSIONES: Se identificaron necesidades de aprendizaje en relación con la autopreparación docente, la impartición de la asignatura y su vinculación con los problemas de salud de la comunidad; de otra parte se reconoce como positiva la realización de la reunión de preparación metodológica como forma de trabajo metodológico

OBJECTIVE: To identify the learning needs proposed by professors to give the IV Human Morphophysiology subject and their criteria on meeting for Methodological Training in their teaching performance and training. METHODS: Forty professors from the New Program of Physicians Training (NPPT) were polled. RESULTS: It was possible to demonstrate that the difficulty level showed in the subject development was low and middle and that the criteria on the methodological training meeting are positive. CONCLUSIONS: Learning needs were identified in relation to teaching self-training, the subject giving and its link with community health problems; besides it is recognized as positive the carry out of the methodological training meeting as a methodological task
