ABSTRACT
Esta reflexión pretende ser un espacio formativo acerca de la historia del sector salud en Colombia. En primer lugar se recopilan los sucesos más importantes en la consolidación de la actual Seguridad Social Colombiana. Por último se abordaran las coyunturas del sector público y privado hasta el Sistema de Seguridad Social en Salud promulgado por la ley 100. Se concluye que son insuficientes los logros alcanzados por la seguridad social, esto se evidencia en la aplicación del derecho a la salud.
The following paper tries to be a learning place about the history of health sector in Colombia. First of all it collects the most important incidents in the actual Colombian social securitys consolidation. Last, it tackles the circumstances of the public and private sector until the social security system in health enacted by the 100 law. It concludes that the achievements attained by social security, this show in application of health right.
