ABSTRACT

Resumo A saúde é um complexo de situações de condições de vida alinhadas a contextos e lugares no tempo. O processo de reparação a partir do entendimento ampliado da saúde é um conjunto de direitos, ações e medidas protagonizadas por diferentes sujeitos nas diversas dimensões da vida. Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar as percepções e ações de reparação direcionadas a camponeses que sofreram perdas materiais e simbólicas no decurso das obras da transposição do Rio São Francisco, em Sertânia, Pernambuco. Trata-se de um estudo de caso com abordagem qualitativa. Os sujeitos desta pesquisa foram camponeses maiores de 18 anos, sem especificação de sexo, residentes em três comunidades nas proximidades do canal Eixo Leste da transposição. Foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas nas comunidades e uma oficina participativa. Observou-se que há uma insuficiência no reconhecimento dos direitos de reparação pelos habitantes e, consequentemente, uma não efetivação das ações desenvolvidas nesse aspecto. As ações de reparação focaram compensações monetárias para a perda de bens materiais, porém sendo muitas vezes subdimensionadas ou até mesmo ausentes. É imprescindível que a reparação seja pensada na perspectiva da complexidade do caso, considerando todas as dimensões da saúde e da vida.


Abstract Health is a complex of situations of living conditions aligned to contexts and places at a given time. The redress process based on the expanded understanding of health is a set of rights, actions, and measures carried out by different subjects in the different dimensions of life. This article aims to analyze the perceptions and redress actions directed to peasants who suffered material and symbolic losses during the transposition of the São Francisco River, in Sertânia, Pernambuco. This is a case study with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this research were peasants over 18 years of age, of without specifying gender, living in three peasant communities near the Eixo Leste of the transposition. Semi-structured interviews and a participatory workshop were carried out in the communities. An insufficiency in the recognition of reparation rights by the inhabitants and, consequently, a non-effectiveness of the actions developed to that end were observed. Remedial actions focused on monetary compensation from the loss of material goods, but were often undersized or even absent. It is essential that the repair be thought of from the perspective of the complexity of the case, considering all dimensions of health and life.

ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT Objectives: to report an educational technology construction on nursing professionals' rights. Methods: an experience report on educational technology construction during the crediting of university extension hours in an undergraduate nursing course at a Brazilian public university, between March and June 2023. The Deming cycle was used as a procedural method. Results: four meetings were held between students and extension workers. Eight comic books were produced based on the Code of Ethics for Nurses, addressing professional autonomy, fair remuneration, risk-free work, denial of exposure in the media and others. The Deming cycle proved to be an important strategy for constructing products. Conclusions: nursing professionals' rights must be discussed and improved. Educational technologies, such as comic books, provide playful and reflective learning.


RESUMEN Objetivos: informar la construcción de una tecnología educativa sobre los derechos de los profesionales de enfermería. Métodos: relato de experiencia sobre la construcción de tecnología educativa durante la acreditación de horas de extensión universitaria en una carrera de pregrado en enfermería en una universidad pública brasileña, entre marzo y junio de 2023. Se utilizó el ciclo de Deming como método procesal. Resultados: se realizaron cuatro reuniones entre estudiantes y extensionistas. Se produjeron ocho historietas basadas en el Código de Ética para los Profesionales de Enfermería, abordando la autonomía profesional, la remuneración justa, el trabajo libre de riesgos, la negación de la exposición en los medios de comunicación y otros. El ciclo de Deming demostró ser una estrategia importante para la construcción de productos. Conclusiones: los derechos de los profesionales de enfermería deben ser discutidos y mejorados. Las tecnologías educativas, como los cómics, proporcionan un aprendizaje lúdico y reflexivo.


RESUMO Objetivos: relatar a construção de uma tecnologia educacional sobre os direitos dos profissionais de enfermagem. Métodos: relato de experiência sobre a construção de tecnologia educacional durante a creditação de horas de extensão universitária em uma disciplina da graduação em enfermagem de uma universidade pública brasileira, entre março e junho de 2023. Utilizou-se o ciclo de Deming como método processual. Resultados: foram realizados quatro encontros entre estudantes e extensionistas. Oito histórias em quadrinhos foram produzidas pautadas no Código de Ética dos Profissionais de Enfermagem abordando autonomia profissional, remuneração justa, trabalho sem riscos, negação à exposição em mídias e outros. O ciclo de Deming mostrou-se importante estratégia para construção dos produtos. Conclusões: os direitos dos profissionais de enfermagem devem ser discutidos e aprimorados. Tecnologias educacionais, como histórias em quadrinhos, proporcionam aprendizagem lúdica e reflexiva.

ABSTRACT

By combing the application and funding situation of general, young scholar and regional scholar programs from National Natural Science Foundation of China(NSFC) in field of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine in 2023, this paper summarizes the distribution of supporting units, application and funding hotspots, and the problems of application and funding projects in this discipline, in order to provide a reference for applicants and supporting organizations to understand the hotspot dynamics and reporting requirements of the discipline. In 2023, the discipline of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine received a total of 2 793 applications, and there were 1 254 applications for general programs, 1 278 applications for young scholar programs, and 261 applications for regional scholar programs. The amounts of project funding obtained by the three were 145, 164 and 35, respectively, and the funding rates were 11.56%, 12.83% and 13.41% in that order. From the situation of obtaining funding, the age distribution of the project leaders who obtained funding for the general, young scholar and regional scholar programs were mainly distributed in the age of 40-46, 30-34, 38-44 years, respectively. Within the supported programs, the Chinese medicine affiliations accounted for 55.52%. With respect to research subjects, the proportion of one single Chinese herbs, or monomers, or extracts accounted for 29.4%, but the proportion of Chinese herb pairs or prescriptions accounted for 47.1%. Research hotspots included ferroptosis, bile acid metabolism, macrophages, mitochondria, microglia, exosomes, intestinal flora, microecology and so on. The current research mainly focused on the common key problems of the advantageous diseases of Chinese and western integrative medicine, but still need to be improved in the basic theories of Chinese and western medicine and multidisciplinary cross-disciplinary research.

ABSTRACT

Fundamento: los proyectos de vinculación con la sociedad efectuados por las universidades ecuatorianas son una oportunidad de servicio y una alternativa de acercamiento de sus estudiantes a la comunidad. Objetivo: describir el valor conferido por docentes a la vinculación entre universidad y comunidad en el proceso formativo de los estudiantes de odontología. Métodos: estudio observacional, descriptivo y transversal, en docentes de odontología de la Universidad Regional Autónoma de Los Andes en el periodo enero-junio de 2022. La población quedó constituida por los 15 docentes de la sede Santo Domingo. Resultados: el 100 % de los docentes consideró que la vinculación universidad comunidad permite la aplicación de los conocimientos adquiridos. Señalaron como debilidades la corta duración de los periodos (100 %) y la falta de empoderamiento de los docentes (100 %); y como elementos positivos la promoción de los microemprendimientos entre los estudiantes (100 %) y el desarrollo integral en el futuro profesional (100 %). Se identificaron como necesidades la retroalimentación entre la universidad y la comunidad (100 %) y los cambios de los paradigmas formativos (100 %). Conclusiones: los docentes identifican el vínculo universidad-comunidad como una oportunidad de gran valor en la formación del estudiante de odontología, preparándolos en función de la solución de los problemas sociales propios de la práctica profesional. Se reconocen como debilidades la falta de empoderamiento y la concepción de proyectos de corto plazo, lo cual demanda transformaciones en las dinámicas docentes actuales, basadas en una retroalimentación entre la academia y la sociedad.


Foundation: the connection projects with society carried out by Ecuadorian universities are an opportunity for service and an alternative to bring their students closer to the community. Objective: to describe the grant value by teachers on the link between university and community in the dental students training process. Methods: observational, descriptive and cross-sectional study of dentistry teachers at the Los Andes Regional Autonomous University from January to June 2022. The population of 15 teachers at the Santo Domingo campus. Results: 100% of the teachers considered that the university-community connection allows the application of the acquired knowledge. The short duration of the periods (100%) and the lack of empowerment of teachers (100%) were indicated as weaknesses; and as positive elements the promotion of microenterprises among students (100%) and comprehensive development in the professional future (100%). Feedback between the university and the community (100%) and changes in training paradigms (100%) were identified as needs. Conclusions: teachers identify the university-community link as an opportunity of great value in the dental students training, preparing them based on the social problems solution typical of professional practice. The lack of empowerment and the conception of short-term projects are recognized as weaknesses, which demands transformations in current teaching dynamics, based on feedback between academia and society.

Introducción: El contexto tecnocientífico cubano actual promueve proyectos de ciencia, tecnología e innovación, que tributan al progreso del modelo de desarrollo económico social socialista que propone el país. Pero, en la práctica, estos proyectos evidencian poca sistematicidad en la evaluación de impacto social, lo que da al traste con la transformación social que se pretende. Debido a esto, se considera necesaria la superación de los profesionales que, desde las universidades cubanas, gestionan proyectos. Objetivo: Proponer un entrenamiento para el desarrollo de competencias en evaluación de impacto social para gestores de proyectos de las universidades cubanas. Materiales y métodos: El diagnóstico realizado con métodos científicos teóricos y con la aplicación de encuestas y entrevistas a gestores de proyectos, y el análisis documental a proyectos en ejecución y a sus resultados, así como a los documentos rectores del posgrado en Cuba, permitieron conformar la propuesta de entrenamiento que se presenta. Resultados: Se identificó un nivel bajo de conocimientos y habilidades en evaluación de impacto social de los proyectos, y una alta disposición hacia la superación profesional en el tema. Esto conduce a la propuesta de un entrenamiento que consta de acciones para el desarrollo de competencias en los gestores de proyecto. Conclusiones: El entrenamiento que se propone resulta una vía esencial para atender demandas y necesidades de superación profesional en torno a conocimientos, habilidades y valores, para la evaluación de impacto social por gestores de proyectos de las universidades cubanas.


Introduction: The current Cuban techno-scientific context promotes projects of science, technology and innovation, which contribute to the progress of the model of socialist social economic development the country proposes. But, in practice, these projects show little systematicity in the social impact assessment, which ruins the social transformation that is pretended. Due to this, it is considered necessary the upgrading of the professionals who manage projects of Cuban universities. Objective: To propose training for the development of skills in social impact assessment for project managers of Cuban universities. Materials and methods: The diagnosis, carried out with scientific-theoretical methods, and with the application of inquiries and interviews to project managers, and the documentary analysis of projects in execution and their results, as well as of leading documents of post-graduate studies in Cuba, allowed to elaborate the training proposal presented. Results: A low level of knowledge and skills in the social impact assessment of the projects and a high disposition towards professional upgrading on the topic were identified. This leads to the proposal of a training that consists on actions for the development of skills in project managers. Conclusions: The training proposed results an essential way to meet demands and needs of professional upgrading regarding knowledge, skills and values, for the assessment of the social impact by project managers of Cuban universities.

Introducción: El residente de Medicina General Integral, una vez graduado, ejecutará investigaciones en correspondencia con las necesidades actuales del Sistema Nacional de Salud y a partir de los problemas de salud predominantes en su comunidad. Objetivo: Describir las principales dificultades en los proyectos de investigación de los residentes de la Especialidad de Medicina General Integral. Métodos: Se realizó un estudio observacional descriptivo transversal en la Facultad de Ciencias Médicas de Sagua la Grande en el período 2020-2021. La población objeto de análisis quedó constituida por un total de 69 proyectos de investigación provenientes de 5 policlínicos docentes de 3 municipios del territorio (Corralillo, Quemado de Güines y Sagua la Grande). Se revisó el proyecto de investigación, se confeccionó un modelo para la recogida de datos extraídos de los mismos y se elaboró una base de datos para su almacenamiento. Resultados: Las principales dificultades estuvieron dadas en no sustentar adecuadamente la investigación, en la redacción del problema científico, específicamente la relación entre el problema y el tipo de investigación, la conceptualización y/o operacionalización de las variables, la selección y elaboración de los métodos, técnicas e instrumentos para la recogida de la información y la acotación de la bibliografía por normas de Vancouver. Conclusiones: Resulta de vital importancia que los residentes de esta especialidad desarrollen habilidades investigativas desde el primer año de formación, lo que contribuirá a un mejor desempeño profesional a partir de la aplicación del método científico en la solución de los problemas de salud que se presenten en su quehacer diario(AU)


Introduction: The family medicine resident, once graduated, will do research in correspondence with the current needs of the national health system and considering the predominant health problems in her/his community. Objective: To describe the main difficulties in the research projects of residents in the General Comprehensive Medicine specialty. Methods: A cross-sectional, descriptive and observational study was carried out in the medical school of Sagua la Grande Municipality, in the period 2020-2021. The population under analysis consisted of a total of 69 research projects from five teaching polyclinics in three municipalities of the territory (Corralillo, Quemado de Güines and Sagua la Grande). Each research project was reviewed, a model was prepared for collecting the data extracted from them, and a database was elaborated for their storage. Results: The main difficulties were not supporting the research adequately, as well as in writing the scientific problem, specifically the relation between the problem and the type of research; also, the conceptualization or operationalization of variables, the selection and elaboration of methods, the techniques and instruments for the collection of information, and the bibliographical adjustment by the Vancouver norms. Conclusions: It is of vital importance that residents of this specialty develop research skills from the first year of training, which will contribute to better professional performance from the application of the scientific method in the solution of health problems that appear in their daily work(AU)

Fundamento: las tecnologías de la información y las comunicaciones ofrecen herramientas que facilitan la formación de competencias investigativas en los médicos generales integrales con la utilización de Telegram en el contexto de la sociedad del conocimiento. Objetivo: valorar la efectividad en la transformación de la práctica socioformativa para la gestión de las competencias investigativas en el médico general integral, haciendo uso de Telegram en el curso de Metodología de la Investigación durante el periodo septiembre 2021-2022. Métodos: se realizó un estudio cuasiexperimental, en la Filial de Ciencias Médicas "Julio Trigo López" de Palma Soriano. Se utilizaron métodos teóricos: histórico-lógico, análisis-síntesis, enfoque de sistema, abstracción-concreción y el hermenéutico-dialéctico; empíricos: análisis documental, observación, cuestionario y el criterio de expertos. Resultados: se alcanzó mayor eficiencia en la transformación de la práctica socioformativa para la gestión de las competencias investigativas en el médico general integral, haciendo uso de Telegram en los aspectos relacionados con la realización de tareas grupales, interacción promotora y conocimientos sobre cómo confeccionar el proyecto de investigación para la solución de los problemas en la comunidad. Conclusiones: se valora como factible y novedosa la transformación de la práctica socioformativa para la gestión de las competencias investigativas en el médico general integral, haciendo uso de Telegram como herramienta para el aprendizaje colaborativo como protagonista en este entorno virtual de interacción.


Background: information and communication technologies offer tools that facilitate the formation of investigative skills in comprehensive general practitioners in the context of the knowledge society. Objective: to assess the effectiveness in the transformation of the socioformative practice for the management of investigative skills in the comprehensive general practitioner, using Telegram in the Research Methodology course during the period September 2021-2022. Methods: a quasi-experimental study was carried out at the "Julio Trigo López" Medical Sciences Branch in Palma Soriano. Theoretical methods were used: historical-logical, analysis-synthesis, system approach, abstraction-concretion and hermeneutic-dialectical; Empirical: documentary analysis, observation, questionnaire and expert criteria. Results: greater efficiency was achieved in the transformation of the socio-formative practice for the management of investigative skills in the comprehensive general practitioner, making use of Telegram in aspects related to carrying out group tasks, promoting interaction and knowledge on how to prepare the project. Research to solve problems in the community. Conclusions: the transformation of the socio-formative practice for the management of investigative skills in the comprehensive general practitioner is valued as feasible and novel, making use of Telegram as a tool for collaborative learning as a protagonist in this virtual environment of interaction.

ABSTRACT

Fundamento: WhatsApp es una aplicación que permite la continuidad del proceso docente educativo en tiempos de pandemia. Objetivo: valorar el uso de la aplicación WhatsApp como herramienta educativa en tiempos de COVID-19, en el municipio Abreus, provincia Cienfuegos, Cuba. Métodos: se realizó una investigación con predominio de una metodología cualitativa, en el municipio Abreus, entre septiembre-diciembre 2021. Se utilizaron métodos teóricos (analítico sintético, histórico-lógico y sistémico) y empíricos (análisis de documentos, y la valoración mediante una encuesta a través de la aplicación WhatsApp de docentes y residentes). Resultados: el uso de WhatsApp como herramienta educativa fue la forma principal de comunicación virtual entre los residentes y docentes. La posibilidad de integrar contactos y armar grupos lo hizo muy popular, simulando una pequeña red social, interactiva y mucho más rápida. Además, se constató que es necesaria, con ventajas y desventajas en el proceso docente educativo. Conclusiones: la valoración de docentes y residentes fue positiva; WhatsApp puede incidir en la mejora del dinamismo de los procesos enseñanza aprendizaje a distancia, por sus posibilidades de conectarse en cualquier momento y desde cualquier lugar, dentro o fuera de los contextos de aprendizaje formal, y con estrategias bien diseñadas puede generar un cambio radical y favorable en el proceso educativo.


Background: WhatsApp is an application that allows us the continuity of the educational teaching process in times of pandemic. Objective: to assess the use of WhatsApp as an educational tool in times of COVID-19, in Abreus municipality, Cienfuegos province, Cuba. Methods: a research with a predominance of a qualitative methodology was carried out in Abreus municipality from September to December 2021. Analytical-synthetic, historical-logical and systemic approaches were applied as theoretical methods; document analysis and assessment through a survey by means of the WhatsApp application of teachers and residents were used as empirical ones. Results: the use of WhatsApp as an educational tool was the main way of virtual communication between residents and teachers. The possibility of integrating contacts and creating groups made it very popular, simulating a small, interactive and much faster social network. In addition, we found that it is necessary, with its advantages and disadvantages in the educational process. Conclusions: the evaluation of teachers and residents was positive; WhatsApp can influence the improvement of the dynamism of the distance learning teaching processes, due to its possibilities of connecting at any time and from any place, inside or outside the formal learning contexts, and it can generate a radical and favourable change in the educational process with well-designed strategies.

ABSTRACT

Resumo Terapeutas ocupacionais compõem as equipes técnicas da assistência social anteriormente à formalização de sua inserção no Sistema Único de Assistência Social (SUAS), ocorrida em 2011. Com isso, a discussão sobre o trabalho nesse setor e sobre a questão social ganhou relevância na profissão do ponto de vista interventivo e teórico-acadêmico. Neste estudo, refletimos, a partir da perspectiva marxista, sobre a forma como a questão social determina as demandas que requisitam o trabalho na assistência social. Em seguida, apresentamos as concepções de projetos societários - entendidos como projetos coletivos que expressam intencionalidades de classe para a sociedade, e de projetos profissionais - definidos como projetos coletivos relacionados às profissões, constituídos de princípios éticos e políticos, que são referenciais teórico-metodológicos para o exercício profissional e que estabelecem bases para suas relações com os usuários dos serviços, com outras profissões e com organizações e instituições. Finalizamos propondo que a terapia ocupacional social é um referencial teórico-metodológico que pode ser adotado para construir um projeto profissional crítico-transformador: crítico à estrutura e à dinâmica da sociedade capitalista que repõem continuamente as expressões da questão social, tangenciando os cotidianos dos sujeitos; ao modelo neoliberal de gestão do Estado que fragiliza os direitos e precariza a vida das pessoas; às tendências conservadoras do trabalho na assistência social que individualizam, medicalizam, psicologizam e moralizam a leitura das problemáticas que se apresentam como demandas profissionais; e ao papel e função social da terapia ocupacional na sua relação com a sociedade, rompendo com uma visão tecnicista e pretensamente neutra da profissão.


Abstract Occupational therapists compose technical teams in social assistance services before the formalization of their insertion in the Unified Social Assistance System (SUAS), which occurred in 2011. As a result, the discussion about the work in this sector and the social question has gained relevance in the profession from an interventional and theoretical-academic point of view. In this study, from a Marxist perspective, we reflect on how the social question determines the demands observed in social assistance work. Next, we present the concepts of societal projects - understood as collective projects that express class intentions for society, and of professional projects - defined as collective projects related to professions composed of ethical and political principles, which are theoretical and methodological references for professional practice, and that establish bases for their relationships with service users, other professions, and organizations and institutions. We conclude by proposing that social occupational therapy is a theoretical and methodological framework that can be adopted to construct a critical-transformative professional project: critical of the structure and dynamics of capitalist society that continually replace the expressions of the social question, touching the everyday life of subjects; critical of the neoliberal model of State management that weakens rights and makes people's lives precarious; critical of the conservative trends of work in social assistance that individualize, medicalize, psychologize, and moralize the reading of problems presented as professional demands; critical of the role and social function of occupational therapy in its relationship with society, breaking with a technical and supposedly neutral view of the profession.

ABSTRACT

Estratégias inovadoras precisam ser adotadas para o combate à crescente prevalência de obesidade. Assim, o objetivo desse trabalho é avaliar o efeito de uma ação de aconselhamento nutricional com uso de rede social no enfrentamento à obesidade. Este é um estudo experimental do tipo antes e depois, incluindo 60 indivíduos com excesso de peso e adscritos a uma Unidade Básica de Saúde. Foi realizado de junho-outubro de 2020. As ações educativas (compartilhamento de informações sobre alimentação saudável e saúde e pactuação de desafios) foram realizadas pelo aplicativo WhatsApp®, semanalmente, por 16 semanas. Foram coletadas informações sociodemográficas, econômicas, clínicas, antropométricas, sobre consumo alimentar e exames bioquímicos. Os dados foram comparados por teste de Wilcoxon ou Kappa. A maioria dos participantes era do sexo feminino e 36,4% com diagnóstico de hipertensão. Após a intervenção, verificou-se redução de circunferência da cintura (antes:107,3±11,4; depois:105,6±11,5 cm, p=0,004), colesterol total (antes:205,9±48,3; depois:191,5±34,3 mg/dL, p<0,001) e LDL-c (antes:132,4±37,8; depois:120,2±29,3 mg/dL, p<0,001). A ação foi capaz de promover reduções de marcadores corporais de obesidade e de descompensações metabólicas associadas a obesidade, demonstrando a importância de intervenções inovadoras que possam somar a outras intervenções e facilitar a adesão do público.


Innovative strategies need to be adopted to combat the growing prevalence of obesity. Thus, the aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of a nutritional counseling activity using a social network in coping with obesity. This is a before-and-after experimental study, including 60 overweight individuals enrolled in a Primary Care Center. It was carried out from June to October 2020. Educational actions (sharing information about healthy eating and health and agreeing on challenges) were carried out through the WhatsApp® application, weekly, for 16 weeks. Sociodemographic, economic, clinical, anthropometric, food consumption, and biochemical data were collected. Data were compared by the Wilcoxon or Kappa test. Most participants were female and 36.4% had a diagnosis of hypertension. After the intervention, there was a reduction in waist circumference (before:107.3±11.4; after:105.6±11.5 cm, p=0.004), total cholesterol (before:205.9±48, 3; after:191.5±34.3 mg/dL, p<0.001), and LDL-c (before:132.4±37.8; after:120.2±29.3 mg/dL, p<0.001). The activity was able to promote reductions in body markers of obesity and metabolic imbalances associated with obesity, demonstrating the importance of innovative interventions that can add to other interventions and facilitate public adherence.

Avaliar a adequação da assistência pré-natal entre puérperas em uma maternidade de referência do nordeste brasileiro. MÉTODO: estudo transversal e descritivo de caráter quantitativo realizado com 205 puérperas. Os dados foram coletados por meio de um formulário estruturado com informações extraídas no cartão pré-natal e recomendações do Ministério da Saúde. O estudo foi submetido e aprovado pelo Comitê de Ética e Pesquisa da Universidade Federal do Piauí sob o CAAE: 81905417.3.0000.5214. RESULTADOS: 69,8% das entrevistadas fizeram sete ou mais consultas pré-natais. A maioria das puérperas apresentou captação precoce com menos de 12 semanas. Verificou-se prevalência minimamente adequada com 5 ou mais registros dos procedimentos clínico-obstétricos, dentre eles a altura uterina obteve a menor taxa de adequação (61,5%). CONCLUSÃO: A assistência pré-natal foi considerada adequada quanto aos parâmetros analisados, porém observou-se a necessidade de melhoria da qualidade nas consultas.


To assess the adequacy of prenatal care among women who have recently given birth in a reference maternity hospital in northeastern Brazil. METHOD: transverse and descriptive study of quantitative character carried out with 205 postpartum women. Evaluar la adecuación de la asistencia prenatal entre el parto precoz en una sala de maternidad de referencia en el noreste de Brasil. MÉTODO: Estudio cuantitativo transversal y descriptivo realizado en el año 2005. Los datos se recopilaron mediante un formulario estructurado con información extraída de la tarjeta prenatal y recomendaciones del Ministerio de Salud. El estudio fue presentado y aprobado por el Comité de Ética e Investigación de la Universidad Federal de Piauí bajo el CAAE: 81905417.3.000.5214. RESULTADOS: el 69,8% de los entrevistados celebraron siete o más consultas prenatales. La mayoría de las madres tuvieron un inicio temprano de la lactancia en menos de 12 semanas. Se observó una prevalencia mínima adecuada con 5 o más registros de procedimientos clínico-obstétricos, entre los cuales la talla uterina obtuvo la menor tasa de adecuación (61,5%). CONCLUSIÓN: La asistencia prenatal se consideró adecuada para los parámetros analizados, pero se observó la necesidad de mejorar la calidad de las consultas.

Fundamento: el papel de las plataformas tecnológicas es radical en cualquier propuesta de comunicación en salud, máxime si va dirigida a estudiantes universitarios con el fin de generar campañas exitosas en la población. Objetivo: identificar los componentes teórico-metodológicos y prácticos que sustentan el uso de las nuevas tecnologías, desde su enfoque social, junto con los aportes específicos de las plataformas virtuales, para la implementación de una propuesta de comunicación en salud. Métodos: se realizó una investigación con enfoque cualitativo, en la Universidad Católica de Cuenca, carrera de Medicina durante septiembre 2021-marzo 2022. Se emplearon métodos teóricos y empíricos: entrevistas en profundidad, revisión documental y grupos focales. Resultados: se evidenció falta de conocimientos por los estudiantes de la carrera de Medicina sobre los modelos de comunicación y su implementación con el uso de nuevas tecnologías referentes a campañas preventivas de salud. Se identificaron los componentes teórico-metodológicos y prácticos que sustentan el uso de las nuevas tecnologías, junto con los aportes específicos de las plataformas virtuales para la implementación de una propuesta de comunicación en salud sobre promoción de estilos de vida saludables y prevención de enfermedades, la cual fue valorada por criterios de expertos. Conclusiones: el producto diseñado resultó adecuado: proporcionó que los docentes, estudiantes médicos, futuros profesionales y funcionarios de la salud estén mejor preparados para comunicar, de forma efectiva, campañas de prevención y cuidado en salud, en disímiles contextos más allá del entorno nacional.


Background: the role of technological platforms is radical in any health communication proposal, especially if it is aimed at university students in order to generate successful campaigns in the population. Objective: to identify the theoretical-methodological and practical components that support the use of new technologies, from their social approach, together with the specific contributions of virtual platforms, for the implementation of a health communication proposal. Methods: an investigation with a qualitative approach was carried out at the Catholic University of Cuenca, Medicine degree from September 2021 to March 2022. Theoretical and empirical methods were used: in-depth interviews, documentary review and focal groups. Results: lack of knowledge was evidenced by the students of the Medicine degree about communication models and their implementation with the use of new technologies related to preventive health campaigns. The theoretical-methodological and practical components that support the use of new technologies were identified, together with the specific contributions of virtual platforms for the implementation of a health communication proposal on the promotion of healthy lifestyles and disease prevention, which was valued by expert criteria. Conclusions: the designed product was adequate: it provided that teachers, medical students, future professionals and health managers get prepared to effectively communicate prevention and health care campaigns in dissimilar contexts beyond the national environment.

ABSTRACT

Fundamento: las tecnologías 2.0 y las redes sociales son herramientas de comunicación que permiten a los usuarios compartir noticias; por lo que han tomado gran importancia para las autoridades sanitarias en Ecuador en temas de salud. Objetivo: indagar sobre el plan de comunicación digital que divulgó el Ministerio de Salud Pública, a través de su cuenta en Facebook, para mantener a los ciudadanos informados sobre las medidas de bioseguridad contra la COVID-19 y su contribución a la educación en salud. Métodos: se realizó una investigación con enfoque cualitativo en la página oficial de Facebook del Ministerio de Salud Pública del Ecuador durante los meses enero-julio de 2021. Se utilizaron métodos teóricos para la fundamentación de la investigación y empíricos: la observación y la entrevista a profesionales relacionados con el rubro de la comunicación digital. Resultados: la campaña #JuntosPorLaSalud fue desarrollada bajo un estilo de tipo informativo y de tono formal para la creación de contenidos con imágenes; además como protocolo de seguridad de la información se colocó la palabra FALSO, una marca de agua para mostrar el fraude y el mal uso interpretativo de los post en tiempos de pandemia; de esta manera mantuvo un margen institucional respetable y de credibilidad frente a los usuarios. Conclusiones: el plan comunicacional digital divulgado en Facebook sirvió como un canalizador y altavoz de los mensajes emitidos por la institución; en todo momento se logró mantener a los usuarios informados sobre temas de prevención, bioseguridad y vacunas contra la COVID-19.


Background: 2.0 technologies and social networks are communication tools that allow users to share news; therefore, they have taken on great importance on health issues for the health authorities in Ecuador. Objective: to inquire about the digital communication plan published by the Ministry of Public Health, through its Facebook account, to keep citizens informed about biosecurity measures against COVID-19 and its contribution to health education. Methods: an investigation with a qualitative approach was carried out on the official Facebook page of the Ministry of Public Health of Ecuador from January to July 2021. Theoretical methods were used to support the investigation and empirical ones: observation and interview with professionals related to the field of digital communication. Results: the #JuntosPorLaSalud campaign was developed under an informative style and a formal tone for the creation of content with images; in addition, as an information security protocol, the word FALSE was placed, a watermark to show fraud and misuse of posts in times of pandemic; In this way, it maintained a respectable institutional margin and credibility with respect to users. Conclusions: the digital communication plan disclosed on Facebook served as a channel and loudspeaker for the messages issued by the institution; at all times it was possible to keep users informed on issues of prevention, biosecurity and vaccines against COVID-19.

ABSTRACT

Resumo Objetivamos compreender as adaptações do programa Consultório na Rua ao contexto territorial, a partir das bases normativas, realizadas por uma equipe atuante na cidade de São Paulo, que oferece cuidado em saúde para as pessoas em situação de rua. Realizamos análise de implantação da mesma, por meio de pesquisa participativa e estudo avaliativo de caso, que envolveu observação participante, entrevistas e análise documental. Os trabalhos de campo e posterior discussão com a equipe subsidiaram a elaboração do modelo lógico e a elaboração e preenchimento da matriz de avaliação. Os resultados indicam avançado grau de implantação do caso estudado, com exceção do atendimento aos usuários de substâncias psicoativas e da garantia da logística à itinerância da equipe. O programa enfrenta desafios diante de restrições da gestão e limitações da rede de serviços do município, que impedem o alcance da equidade.


Abstract We aim to understand the adaptations of Clinic on the Street program to the territorial context, based on the normative bases, carried out by a team, which offers health care for people in homelessness. For this, we carried out an analysis of its implementation, through participating research and evaluative case study, which involved participant observation, interviews and documentary analysis. Fieldwork and subsequent discussion with the team supported the development of the logical model and the preparation and completion of the evaluation matrix. The results indicate an advanced degree of implementation of the case studied, except for serving users of psychoactive substances and ensuring logistics to the team's itinerancy. The program faces challenges in the face of management restrictions and limitations of the municipality's service network, which hinder the achievement of equity.

ABSTRACT Objectives: to describe a technological innovation in the development of an individual, ergonomic, sustainable and effective occupational respiratory protection mask for workers exposed to surgical smoke. Methods: applied, exploratory, quantitative research, using design methods and tools: Sense Intent, Know Context, Know People, Frame Insights, Explore Concepts, Frame Solutions, Realize Offerings, in addition to the Product Development Process tools. It was developed from March 2019 to December 2021. Results: from the prototyping mold, it became possible to represent the abstract to the physical, where all the concepts created in the methodological steps were implemented and the necessary adjustments were made to create the model as a technological innovation, which will have the concept for product commercialization. Conclusions: a mask for protection against surgical smoke (HeLP) was developed, from the design step to the prototype development, being a technological innovation.


RESUMEN Objetivos: describir una innovación tecnológica en el desarrollo de una máscara de protección respiratoria ocupacional individual, ergonómica, sostenible y eficaz para trabajadores expuestos al humo quirúrgico. Métodos: investigación exploratoria aplicada con un enfoque cuantitativo, utilizando métodos y herramientas de diseño: Sense Intent, Know Context, Know People, Frame Insights, Explore Concepts, Frame Solutions, Realize Offers, además de las herramientas del Proceso de Desarrollo de Producto. Fue desarrollado de marzo de 2019 a diciembre de 2021. Resultados: a partir del molde de prototipado, se logró representar lo abstracto a lo físico donde implementó los conceptos creados en las etapas metodológicas y realizó los ajustes necesarios para la creación del modelo como innovación tecnológica en el cual tendrá el concepto para la comercialización del producto. Conclusiones: se desarrolló una máscara de protección contra el humo quirúrgico (HeLP), desde la etapa de diseño hasta el desarrollo del prototipo, configurando una innovación tecnológica.

RESUMO Objetivo Verificar a efetividade, eficiência e satisfação no teste de usabilidade para o aplicativo de avaliação do zumbido. Método Trata-se de um estudo descritivo de teste de usabilidade, no qual será avaliado satisfação, eficácia e eficiência do aplicativo. O teste foi realizado virtualmente por meio de um formulário do Google Forms. Primeiramente, os participantes receberam as instruções de acesso e uso do avazum através de textos e imagens ilustrativas. Logo após, os usuários fizeram o uso do aplicativo, observando suas funções e usabilidade. Em seguida, os participantes responderam o questionário de usabilidade. A análise estatística foi realizada no software Statistics Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) versão 21.0 para realizar a análise descritiva como frequência, percentagens dos dados do System Usability Questionnaire (SUS), além de análise do score do Net Promoter Score (NPS). Resultados Sendo assim, a média geral do score do SUS foi condizente com score de usabilidade satisfatório, o que implica dizer que o aplicativo não apresenta graves problemas de usabilidade, além da porcentagem geral NPS indicar uma satisfação muito boa dos usuários, com bom percentual de usuários promotores. No que diz respeito sobre a efetividade, foi possível observar que o Avazum atinge os objetivos propostos, além de ser eficiente, pois apresenta uma linguagem clara e confortabilidade durante o uso. Conclusão O Avazum obteve satisfação muito boa dos usuários, além de atingir os objetivos propostos, tornando-o efetivo, apresentou uma linguagem clara e confortabilidade durante o uso, aduzindo eficiência na avaliação multidisciplinar do zumbido.


ABSTRACT Purpose To verify the effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction in the usability test of the tinnitus assessment application. Methods This is a descriptive usability test study that assessed the satisfaction, effectiveness, and efficiency of the application. The test was carried out virtually via Google Forms. First, the participants received instructions on how to access and use Avazum, through texts and illustrative images. Afterward, the users used the application, observing its functions and usability. Next, the participants answered the usability questionnaire. Statistical analysis was performed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences, version 21.0, to perform descriptive analysis such as frequency, percentages of data in the System Usability Questionnaire (SUS), and analysis in the Net Promoter Score (NPS). Results Thus, the overall mean SUS score was consistent with satisfactory usability, which implies that the application does not present serious usability problems. Also, the overall NPS percentage indicated very good user satisfaction, with a good percentage of promoting users. As far as effectiveness is concerned, it was found that Avazum reached its goals, besides being efficient, as it uses clear language and is comfortably used. Conclusion Avazum obtained very good satisfaction from users, in addition to achieving its goals. It proved to be effective, has clear language, and is comfortably used, adducing efficiency in the multidisciplinary evaluation of tinnitus.

Fundamento: la utilización de entornos virtuales de enseñanza aprendizaje es una tendencia que las instituciones de educación superior ponen en práctica en sus estrategias de desarrollo y perspectiva académica. Objetivo: evaluar el grado de satisfacción de los estudiantes con la virtualidad de la asignatura Metodología de la Investigación en la carrera de Medicina, de la Facultad de Ciencias Médicas de Sagua la Grande durante el período 2020-2021. Métodos: se realizó una investigación de tipo descriptiva transversal donde se aplicaron métodos teóricos: análisis-síntesis e inducción-deducción y empíricos: un cuestionario constituido por 15 ítems, cuyas respuestas fueron evaluadas a través de una escala aditiva tipo Likert. Para el procesamiento de la información se emplearon la estadística descriptiva y herramientas estadísticas. Resultados: el aula virtual diseñada para la asignatura se estructuró según unidades temáticas, además de un módulo donde se situaron las orientaciones generales. Las frecuencias que predominaron para todas las dimensiones estuvieron entre los niveles Satisfecho y Muy satisfecho. Se destacaron las dimensiones Resultados y Contenido con predominio de respuestas positivas; en las dimensiones Orientaciones generales del curso y Disponibilidad/estabilidad, fue donde manifestaron mayor negatividad. Conclusiones: la utilización de la virtualidad demostró que el nivel de satisfacción de los estudiantes alcanzado en la asignatura Metodología de la Investigación en la carrera de Medicina es elevado por lo que se recomienda su aplicación por los docentes como apoyo a la clase presencial.


Background: the use of virtual teaching-learning environments is a trend that higher education institutions put into practice in their development strategies and academic perspective. Objective: to evaluate the degree of satisfaction of the students with the virtuality of the Research Methodology subject in the Medicine degree, of Sagua la Grande Faculty of Medical Sciences during from 2020 to 2021. Methods: a cross-sectional descriptive investigation was carried out where theoretical methods were applied: analysis-synthesis and induction-deduction and empirical: a questionnaire consisting of 15 items, whose answers were evaluated through a Likert-type additive scale. For the information processing, descriptive statistics and statistical tools were used. Results: the virtual classroom designed for the subject was structured according to thematic units, as well as a module where the general orientations were located. The frequencies that prevailed for all dimensions were between the Satisfied and Very Satisfied levels. The Results and Content dimensions with a predominance of positive responses were highlighted; in the General orientations of the course and Availability/stability dimensions, it was where they manifested the greatest negativity. Conclusions: the use of virtuality showed that the level of student satisfaction achieved in the Research Methodology subject in the Medicine degree is high, so its implementation by teachers is recommended as support for the face-to-face class.

Resumo Esta pesquisa buscou traçar o perfil do Comitê de Ética da Universidade Estadual Vale do Acaraú, Ceará, nos 10 anos da Plataforma Brasil. Levantaram-se pesquisas realizadas entre 2012 e 2021, conforme atores ou processos, seguindo a análise descritiva. Houve prevalência feminina e do campo da saúde ou ciências biológicas, e pareceristas tiveram maior formação acadêmica, tempo de experiência e número de projetos em relação a pesquisadores. Das 2.295 pesquisas analisadas, houve flutuações temporais, com concentração de projetos anteriormente aprovados até 2015, finalizados em 2016 e em trâmite em 2021, com evidente diminuição em 2020 e 2021. Foram mais frequentes pesquisas originais de centros coordenadores, institucionais, brasileiras, autofinanciadas, sem área temática, com decisão ética favorável, em até três meses e tempo de fluxo reduzido entre quinquênios. Termo de consentimento livre e esclarecido e riscos destacaram-se como principais óbices éticos. Esse panorama valoriza a importância da plataforma para o progresso científico.


Abstract This study outlines the profile of the Ethics Committee of the Acaraú Valley State University, Ceará, Brazil, after 10 years of Plataforma Brasil. Bibliographic search surveyed research conducted between 2012 and 2021 according to actors and processes, following descriptive analysis. Results showed a prevalence of female researchers from the health or biological sciences field, and reviewers had a greater academic background, length of experience, and number of projects than researchers. Of the 2,295 studies analyzed, most were approved by 2015, completed in 2016 and under evaluation in 2021, with clear decrease in 2020 and 2021. Original research from national self-funded institutional coordinating centers without thematic area, with a favorable ethical opinion within three months, and reduced flow time between quinquennia stood out. Main ethical obstacles concerned the informed consent and risks. This overview highlights the importance of the platform for scientific progress.


Resumen Esta investigación rastreó el perfil del Comité de Ética de la Universidad Estadual Vale do Acaraú, Ceará, Brasil, en los 10 años de la Plataforma Brasil. Los estudios ocurrieron entre 2012 y 2021 según actores o procesos, siguiendo el análisis descriptivo. Predominaron mujeres del campo de la salud o las ciencias biológicas y, comparados con los investigadores, los árbitros tenían alto nivel de formación académica, mayor tiempo de experiencia y proyectos. En 2.295 estudios hubo fluctuaciones temporales, con concentración de proyectos aprobados hasta 2015, completados en 2016 y en curso en 2021, con disminución evidente entre 2020-2021. Los estudios más frecuentes provienen de los centros coordinadores, institucionales, brasileños, autoapoyados, sin área temática, con decisión ética favorable hasta tres meses y tiempo de flujo reducido entre quinquenios. El formulario de consentimiento y los riesgos fueron los principales obstáculos éticos. Este panorama valora la importancia de la plataforma al progreso científico.

ABSTRACT

Para desarrollar un curso o asignatura a través de la educación a distancia utilizando la plataforma Moodle, es preciso dominar los recursos que esta ofrece; aunque sin el conocimiento del contenido, de pedagogía y una experiencia práctica de impartición tradicional de la materia, no es posible lograrlo con posibilidades de éxito. Es propósito de los autores socializar algunas acciones metodológicas sencillas, conformadas por ellos y aplicadas ya en su práctica docente, las que pueden ser útiles a los que se inician en la virtualización del proceso enseñanza aprendizaje.


To develop a course or subject through distance learning using the Moodle platform, it is necessary to master the resources that it offers; although without knowledge of the content, pedagogy and a practical experience of traditional teaching of the subject, it is not possible to achieve it with any chance of success. It is the purpose of the authors to socialize some simple methodological actions, formed by them and already applied in their teaching practice, which can be useful to those who are starting out in the virtualization of the teaching-learning process.

Resumo A condição da mulher em nossa sociedade tem importantes implicações em termos de hierarquia, assimetria, discriminação e desigualdade, cerceando possibilidades na projeção da vida. Considerando que ser uma jovem menina traz implicações que se materializam na vivência da juventude e nos sonhos e projetos que podem se construir nessa fase, esta pesquisa buscou conhecer dimensões da vida de meninas/mulheres estudantes do Ensino Médio que influenciam a projeção de suas vidas, bem como as possíveis contribuições da terapia ocupacional social no enfrentamento desta problemática. Para que tais objetivos fossem cumpridos, utilizou-se de uma metodologia participativa, na modalidade pesquisa-intervenção, realizada em uma escola pública, por meio da construção de um "Clube das Meninas", onde foram realizadas Oficinas de Atividades, Dinâmicas e Projetos. Os resultados apontaram que as convenções sociais de gênero permeiam a relação estabelecida entre as meninas/mulheres, os seus corpos e seus cotidianos; exposição a situações de violência desde a infância e, quando jovens, de maneira mais evidente nos relacionamentos afetivos e/ou sexuais; fragilidades e rupturas de vínculos familiares e de amizade; de redes sociais de suporte consistentes e protetivas, em especial, o não reconhecimento da escola como componente dessa rede; elementos que atravessam a construção de seus projetos de vida. Discute-se que a terapia ocupacional social, por meio de suas tecnologias sociais, pode contribuir com o enfrentamento das problemáticas cotidianas resultantes da construção social relacionada ao ser menina/mulher na ampliação de vivências com vistas à autonomia e à emancipação, assim como no fortalecimento das redes sociais de suporte e no enfrentamento de situações de violência.


Abstract The condition of women in our society has important implications in terms of hierarchy, asymmetry, discrimination, and inequality, limiting possibilities in the projection of life. Considering that being a young girl has implications that materialize in the experience of youth and in the dreams and projects that can be built at this stage, this research sought to understand dimensions of the lives of girls/women that are high school students that influence the projection of their lives, as well as the possible contributions of social occupational therapy in tackling this problem. For these objectives to be met, a participatory methodology was used, in the research-intervention modality, carried out in a public school, through the construction of a "Girls Club", where Activities, Dynamics and Project Workshops were held. The results showed that social gender conventions permeate the relationship established between girls/women, their bodies and their daily lives; exposure to situations of violence since childhood and, when young, more evident in affective and/or sexual relationships; weaknesses and ruptures in family and friendship ties; consistent and protective support social networks, in particular, the non-recognition of the school as a component of this network; elements that permeate the construction of their life projects. It is discussed that social occupational therapy, through its social technologies, can contribute to confronting everyday problems resulting from the social construction related to being a girl/woman in expanding experiences with a view to autonomy and emancipation, as well as strengthening of support social networks and in confronting situations of violence.
