ABSTRACT
Currently, the domestic and foreign research methods for the qualitative basis of Chinese materia medica (CMM) mainly include phytochemical separation method, pharmacological activity tracer method, chromatography, etc. The above methods have played an active role in elucidating the qualitative basis of CMM. However, how to form a multi-component research model that can better reflect the "holistic view" characteristics of CMM and reflect the effectiveness of CMM has become an important direction for scholars in the industry to explore. Serum spectrum-effect of CMM is based on the theory of spectrum-effect to study the relationship between serum chemical fingerprints and pharmacodynamics in vivo. In this paper, by consulting relevant literature, the research idea of serum spectrum-effect was collected, the research results were summarized, and the research bottleneck was analyzed and discussed, so as to provide reference for revealing the material basis of CMM.

Shanxi is a major province of the Chinese materia medica injections (CMMIs) industry in China. There are 18 manufacturers of CMMIs in Shanxi Province, which can manufacture 30 different kinds of CMMIs. In this paper, the superior manufacturing enterprises, the exclusive and the competitive CMMIs products, as well as their quality control and scientific research situation were summarized and analyzed. In combination with the policies for CMMIs in China, the challenges as well as the further research ideas and strategies for the development of CMMIs industry in China has been put forward.

The quality of Chinese materia medica (CMM) is the lifeline of Chinese medicine industry. However, many problems are still found in the quality study on CMM, which restricts the healthy development of Chinese medicine industry to a certain extent. Aiming at the problems existing in the quality research on CMM, the research idea, method and approach of quality marker research and quality evaluation of CMM were put forward based on systematic analysis and discussion on the basic properties and clinical features of CMM according to the core concept of quality marker and the combination of research practice, from the perspective of transmission and traceability of quality elements, the relationship between chemical composition and traditional efficacy containing "drug property" and "drug function", composition analysis of endemicity based on pharmacophylogenetic study and biosynthetic approach. Finally, a new integrated mode of CMM quality evaluation and control was established.

Establishment of combination of disease and syndrome animal model is an ideal technology platform in TCM research. Currently, many scholars have prepared matching IBS animal models combined typical animal models with etiology, which em-bodies the advantages of syndrome differentiation and promotes the development of combination disease and syndrome animal model. Even though, there still exists some problems about sub-jective evaluation on syndromes, paying more attention on dis-ease and less on syndromes. Therefore, we should deepen the pathogenesis of diseases and TCM syndromes research on animal model replication and improve the method of construction of combination of disease and syndrome animal model through the biological research of combination of disease and syndrome sys-tem. By this way, the idea of preparation animal models will be more mature and the scientific connotation of TCM will be pres-ented more exactly.

Coronary artery disease (CAD) is a complex, multifactorial, chronic disease and one of the most dangerous diseases to human health due to its high mortality. The single target drug therapy is widely used in the treatment of CAD, but it could not meet the demand of today's treatment of complex disease. However, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has a good effect in treating complex disease. Tongmai Yangxin Prescription, based on "Zhigancao Decoction", is used to cure cardiovascular disease. The formulae is developed by Professor Ruan Shi-yi who won the title of "Guo Yi Da Shi (master of national medicine)". The studies on the single herb which consists in Tongmai Yangxin Prescription, such as Rehmanniae Radix and Glycyrrhizae Radix, have been made considerable progress. But systematic research of Tongmai Yangxin Prescription is still unavailable. There is a certain risk when we use Tongmai Yangxin Prescription in clinic, as the molecular basis of the formulae is unclear. The approach of network pharmacology is to set up a model of the compound action of Tongmai Yangxin Prescription. Meanwhile the model is based on the experimental data from single herb or active ingredients. Then, drug-target network, CAD-pathway network, and CAD-symptom network could be built to explain the functional mechanism through the method of literature mining and data mining, combining the theory of TCM.

Marine medicine is an important part of Chinese medicine and a growth point of the development of marine economy. Current researches of marine medicine had ignored accumulated experience in clinical medicine for thousands of years of development of marine medicine and the guidance of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) theory. In this article, we proposed a research mode of Mining experience-Clinical validation-Targets screening-Component screening-Component compatibility-Mechanism study under the guidance of the hypothesis of Nature-Effect-Material Trialism to study marine medicine. Kun Hai Jiang Xin (KHJX) Decoction is a marine formula drawn from the experience of ancient physicians by data mining techniques. Clinical study found that KHJX Decoction can significantly improve the overall clinical efficacy of chronic bronchitis with good clinical safety. Under the guidance of TCM herbal theory, object presented here is based on the work of KHJX Decoctionmining experience - clinical validation. The molecular docking method and receptor-ligand binding assay were applied to screen effective components from herbs of KHJX Decoction and the compatibility plan of effective components under the guidance of the principle of cold and heat effects compatibility. This study is of great significance to clarify the material basis and molecular mechanism of KHJX Decoction in the treatment of chronic bronchitis. It provides a new research mode for marine drug research.
