Food processing is a way of life in India. It has been practiced for ages. Simple, home-based techniques, such as fermentation, have resulted in the creation of our famous pickles, papada, chutneys and murabbas that excite both the elite and the masses across the world. The sector constituted as much as 9.17per cent and 11.08 per cent of Gross Value Added (GVA) in manufacturing and agriculture sector respectively in 2017-18. Despite its low capital intensity, food processing sector has the largest number of factories and engages largest number of persons as compared to other industrial sectors in the country, rural sector is the pulse of our country, being agriculture and farmer based economy, and is linked with the continued progression of the nation. The government has initiated several steps on the path of success of becoming a five trillion dollars economy by refocusing its efforts to uplift the rural sector. ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT In order to understand the dynamics in which the territory is thought of and interfered with, to lead to the displacement and dispossession of the population by armed or administrative means, 87 interviews with social leaders between 2019-2021 were carried out to allow for a historical analysis of processes associated with the occupation of lands in the department of Meta, under the Monster-Monstrosity relationship associated with technology from the mechanical methods of the State and / or the bioinformatics methods of the market. The results expose a territory that begins in the body, as a biopolitical and bioeconomic space of confrontation. The above is analyzed through the metaphors of the romantic cowboy, the man-eater, the land-of-the-future, and the post-organic cowboy, exposing a nomadic thought with a spirit of intellectual resistance and historical emancipation. It is concluded that the semiological character of daily life with technology allows for the empowerment, the visibility, and the political-economic reconfiguration of the territory

ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT

The objective was to study the economic viability of feedlot in Lavras region, state of Minas Gerais. Forty one bulls of two genetic groups were used, being: 19 Nellore and 22 Red Norte, with initial average age of 20 months and initial average live weight of 315 ±31 kg and 321 ±30 kg, respectively. The experimental period was 112 days. The model of cost was used to evaluate the economic viability. All economic indexes presented negative results. The activity presented negative profit of R$ 6.88 and R$ 19.74/arroba for the animals Red Norte and Nellore, respectively. The negative results obtained in these conditions took place because the operational effective cost was bigger than the sale price of the arroba. The feedlot didn't present economical viability for the Lavras region, in the year of 2007. The feed efficiency has straight influence on the economical viability of feedlot.
