ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the efficacy and mechanism of Salviae Miltiorrhiza and Ligustrazine Hydrochloride Injection (SMLHI). Methods The targets of chemical components of SMLHI were predicted and the compounds-targets (C-T) network was constructed. The key targets were screened through the topology analysis of the C-T network. Also, protein-protein interaction (PPI) network was established, and the Gene ontology and KEGG pathway was enriched and analyzed. The pharmacological action mechanism of SMLHI was predicted, and the mechanism was preliminarily verified by pretreating with SMLHI on the MARK expression of cerebral ischemia rats. Results Fifteen main compounds in SMLHI act on 94 targets and PRSS1, PTGS2, F2, and PTGS1 were key targets in the C-T network. There were 71 targets in the PPI network including several key nodes such as SRC, MAPK-1, MMP-9, MAPK-14, PTGS2, BCL-2, and so on. All the targets were enriched in 26 GO items and six KEGG pathways. Conclusion Results in this study preliminarily verified the action of SMLHI on cerebral infarction and diabetic peripheral neuropathy, thus laying a solid foundation for further study on the mechanism of action.

ABSTRACT

Objective Ritodrine hydrochloride(RH) combined with radix salviae mihiorrhisa(RSM) is ap- plied to treat fetal growth ristriction(FGR). Curative effect was recorded during observation. Methods 62 pregnant women with slowly growing fetuses were divided into two groups randomly. Group A(test group) :including 31 preg- nant women who received RH combined with RSM treatment. Group B(control group) :including the other 31 preg- nant women who only received RSM treatment. Group B received 250ml of fat emulsion injection. One time every three days within one week. At the same time,gronp B also received injection of 500ml 10 % dextrose, coenzyme A 100U ,ATP 40mg,vitamin C 2g,dextran-40 and compound salvia injection 10ml one time a day,ten days in all. Be- sides the above-mentioned medicament for group B, group A received RH 100ml injection every day. Ten days was a period of treatment. After the treatment, uterine height, abdominal circumference, weight were measured and bipari- etal diameter, head circumference, abdominal circumference were checked by B-type ultrasonic inspection. After birth,weight of the baby and weight of placenta were measured too. Results Measurement indexes from group A, weight of the new-born baby and weight of placenta are obviously higher than those from group B. Conclusion RH combined with RSM can obviously extend blood vessel, loose placenta, improve blood circulation, accelerate cell metabolism, make microeirculation better, reduce permeability of capillary vessel, keep placenta's function and help foetus' growth.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the effect of radix salviae milliorhize on hemodynamics of portal hypertensive rats.Methods 60 Wistar rat models with portal hypertension were induced by CCl_4.Among them 56 rats with portal hypertension were divided at random into 4 groups: radix salviae 3 d group,radix salviae 10 d group,radix salviae 15 d group,and control group.After administration,the blood flow of vena portae,superior mesenteric artery,superior mesenteric artery and pressure of vena portae,average arterial pressure were measured.(Results Compared) with 0.9% Natrii Chloridi control group,the blood flow of vena portae,superior mesenteric artery,superior mesenteric artery and pressure of vena portae,average artery pressure in radix salviae milliorrhize 3,10 and 15 d groups were decreased significantly(P0.05).Conclusion Radix salviae milliorhize can be employed for treating portal hypertension.Radix salviae milliorrhize can decrease the blood flow and portal pressure,moreover,the effect can be enhanced with the elongation of treatment time.

ABSTRACT

Objective To study the different extraction methods for the content of tanshinoneⅡA in water decocted Radix Salviae Miltiorrhiza, in order to develop comprehensive utilization of Salvia miltiorrhiza. Method Tanshinone ⅡA was extracted by supercritical carbon dioxide fluid and compared with ultrasonic extraction. Result When the extraction pressure was 35 MPa, extraction temperature was 40 ℃, extraction time was 2 h and entrainer (ethanol) was 100 %, the yields of the tanshinone ⅡA was up to 3.87 mg, while the ultrasonic extraction was 2.89 mg. Conclusion TanshinoneⅡA extracted by supercritical carbon dioxide fluid was better than ultrasonic extraction and had higher purity. The comprehensive utilization of Salvia miltiorrhiza is available.

ABSTRACT

Objective To observe the outcome of Nimodipine and Salvia Miltiorrhiza Composite in treating newborn hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy(HIE ) . Methods 128 HIE patients were randomly divided into four groups;-Salviae Miltiorrhiza Compsite treated group (n=32) , Nimodipine treated group (n 30) , Nimodipine plus Salviae Miltiorrhiza Composite treated group ( n =35) , and control group ( n =31) , in which the symptoms and signs , the reactions following treatment were observed .Results The total effective rates of Salviae Miltiorrhize Composite treated group , Nimodipine treated group , Nimodipine plus Salviae Miltiorrhiza Composite treated group were 81.3% (26/32) , 80% (24/30) and 97.1% (34/35) respectively , and the markedly effective rates were 53.1% (17/32) , 53.3% (16/30) and 88.6% (31/35) respectively . The total effective rates and the markedly effective rates of control group were 51.6% (16/31) and 6.5% (2/31) respectively ,the treated groups were higher than that of control group ( P

ABSTRACT

Objective To study the therapeutic mechanism of medication p erfusion by femoral artery for the femoral head necrosis induced by glucocortico id experimentally. Methods Forty eight of New Zealand rabbits were used for esta blishing the model of femoral head necrosis. The rabbits were injected 50 ? g/ kg LPS in 24h twice intravenously, and methy prednisolone intramuscularly thre e times. The animals were divided into three groups: arterial group which was pe rfused urokinase 30 thousands units and 2 ml red sage root by left femoral arter y; venous group which was perfused urokinase 30 thousands units and 2 ml red sa ge root by era marginal vein; control group which was perfused normal saline. Mi crovessels ink perfusion and pathological examination were adopted to observed t he changes of the femoral head.The ratio of empty lacuna, fatty embolism, thromb us, VEGF positive osteoblast, chondrocyte and blood vessel in the subchondral pl ate were measured by means of HE, sudanⅢ , PTAH and immunohistochemistry in dif ferent periods (1,2,3,4weeks) after the medication perfusion.Results The treatme nt of urokinase and methyl- prednisolone could reduce the ratio of empty lacuna , fatty embolism, thrombus and increase the ratio of VEGF positive osteoblast, c hondrocyte and blood vessel, but the effects of femoral medication perfusion wer e more efficiency and quickly than vein injection. Conclusion The mechanisms con sist in re passing the blocked vessel by dissolving fatty embolism and thrombu s, accelerating the vascular developing and ossification by promoting the exudat ion of VEGF.
