ABSTRACT
El agua es el elemento más importante para la vida del ser humano. Se efectuó un estudio de la calidad de agua suministrada a la población de Sebastián Pagador por tres diferentes fuentes en el año 2008. El estudio fue analítico y cuantitativo. Se midió la calidad del agua mediante cultivo de las muestras de agua de dos redes privadas de agua y de cisterna. Los resultados demostraron que en una fuente el número de colonias estaba dentro de la Norma Nacional Boliviana (NB) 512, en tanto que el agua de la otra red y de la cisterna mostraron cantidades de microorganismos por encima de los valores establecidos por la NB 512. Por tanto estas dos últimas tienen una calidad deficiente.
The water is the most important element for the human being life.We made a study of the quality of water supply to Sebastian Pagador neighborhood population. Samples were took form three different sources of water in the year 2008. The study was analytic and quantitative.The quality the water was measured by means of cultivation of samples of water of two private networks of water and one pipe. The results showed that in one sample comingfrom one network source, the number of colonies was within the Bolivian National Norm (NB) 512, while the water from other network and from cistern shown quantity of microorganisms above values set up by the NB 512.Therefore, these two last have a deficient water quality.
