MethodsA total of 1 419 secondary vocational students from 2 secondary vocational schools in Huangshan City Anhui Province were selected as the research objects in June 2022. The future time insight questionnaire for adolescents, the academic procrastination questionnaire for middle school students and the Self-Control Scale (SCS) were used to assess the future time insight, academic procrastination and self-control ability of secondary vocational students. The mediating effect test of PROCESS was used to analyze the mediating role of self-control between future time insight and academic procrastination. Results①There was a positive correlation between the future time insight questionnaire for adolescents score, the SCS score and the academic procrastination questionnaire of middle school students score (r=0.558, 0.470, P<0.01). ②Both future time insight and self-control could positively predict academic procrastination (β=0.463, 0.218, P<0.01), while future time insight could positively predict self-control (β=0.348, P<0.01). ③Self-control partially mediated the relationship between future time insight and academic procrastination [indirect effect=0.076 (95% CI: 0.052~0.101, P<0.01), and the indirect effect accounted for 16.41% of the total effect]. ConclusionThe future time insight of secondary vocational students can affect academic procrastination directly or indirectly through self-control, which partially mediates the relationship between future time insight and academic procrastination.

ABSTRACT

Objective To survey the epidemiological characteristics of adverse life events among secondary vocational nursing students and to investigate the relationship between adverse life events and post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD) so as to provide the basis for their psychological health intervention. Methods The cross-sectional survey method was adopted to conduct the questionnaire investigation among secondary vocational nursing students as the research subjects in Health School Attached to Shanghai Jiaotong University(SJTU) and Shanghai Municipal Nursing School. The EPIDATA3.1 software was used to input the data and conduct the logic error correction. The data were processed by the SAS 8.2 software. Results The average age of respondents was (17.00±0.88) years old,87 respondents(15.56%) were male and 472 respondents(84.44%) were female;in adverse life event, failure in the exam or unsatisfactory achievement had higher occurrence frequency(81.64%);the detection rate of PTSD was 5.53%,the difference in various factors of life events between positive PTSD and non-positive PTSD had statistical significance (P<0.01).The multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that the influencing factors of PTSD were interpersonal relation factor (OR=2.93,95%CI=1.43-6.00),punishment factor (OR=3.91,95%CI=1.41-10.87) and adaptation factor (OR=4.12,95%CI=1.70-9.99).Conclusion The incidence rate of adverse life events in the secondary vocational school students is relatively high, increasing the psychological health should start in the aspects of alleviating the study burden, changing the teaching mode, increasing the interpersonal communication ability and elevating the social adaptability of secondary vocational nursing students.

Objective To explore conduct disorder tendency and it's influence factors on secondary school students. Methods 669 students of grade 1 in Dezhou Vocational and Technical College were investigated by Conduct Disorder Tendency Questionnaire, Revised Version of MBI-SS and SRHMS Version1.0. Results The secondary vocational school students' scores on violation tendency, addiction tendency and aggression tendency were 11.51±4.08,5.90±2.68 and 6.68±2.63,and were significant different from vocational college students or high school students(addiction tendency:F(2, 1578)=7.48,P =0.001;aggression tendency:F(2, 1579)=24.40,P <0.001). There existed great capable difference of conduct disorder according to genders ( t(643)>3.85,P <0.001).Conduct disorder tendency of secondary vocational students' was positive correlated with their learning burnout (Pearson correlation coefficient was between 0.16 and 0.52 for each pair), but negative correlated with mental health(Pearson correlation coefficient was between -0.13 and -0.27 for each pair). The linear regression showed that some dimensions of learning burnout and self-rated mental health predicted students' conduct disorder tendency. Conclusion Conduct disorder tendency of secondary vocational students is affected by their learning burnout and mental health.
