ABSTRACT
Objective:To anylyze the combination rule of prescriptions containing Cmnamomi Mmulus in the book of Treatise on Typhoid and Miscellaneous Diseases based on tree analysis algorith method. Methods:By collecting prescriptions contain Cmnamomi Mmulus in the book of Treatise on Typhoid and Miscellaneous Diseases, and applying the tree analysis algorithm method on the Ancient and Modern Medical Case Cloud Platform to co-occurrence calculate each layer of the prescriptions, we got the hierarchical tree structure diagram of Cmnamomi Mmulus prescriptions. Results:79 prescriptions containing 96 medicines were included, which appeared 529 times, with 7 different functions. The medicines that are frequently appeared include Cmnamomi Mmulus, Glycyrrhizae Radix Et Rhizoma Praeparata Cum Melle, Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens, Jujubae Fructus, etc. The main effects include relieving the exterior, warming the meridians, warming yang and promoting diuresis. The tree structure diagram of the prescription is divided into seven layers, including the largest items of Cmnamomi Mmulus, Glycyrrhizae Radix Et Rhizoma Praeparata Cum Melle,Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens, Jujubae Fructus, Paeoniae Radix Alba, Ephedrae Herba, Puerariae Lobatae Radix, and the collateral drugs of Poria, Atractylodis macrocephalae rhizoma, Alismatis Rhizoma, Zingiberis Rhizoma, etc. Conclusion:The formula tree analysis algorithm can connect the correlation between drugs in series, and show the relationship between a series of high-frequency co-occurrence drugs in the formula, which can be used for the learning of classics.

The Koho school has a high regard for formulation corresponding to sho uniquely developed as a conspicuous feature of Kampo medicine, and Ruihobunrui (the classification of formulae based on the main crude drug : CF) has played an important role in structuring the foundation of this development in the Koho school. CF is a classification method used to express the adaptation and characteristics of formulae in the Koho school, and is useful for research on drug compositions. Therefore, CF can be used effectively in both clinical practice and education. CF has shown little development in China after the appearance of Xu Ling Tai ; however, in Japan the development of CF centered on such influential figures as Todo Yoshimasu of the Koho school, and Naohiro Kitamura of the Kosho school. Kenzo Okuda and Keisetsu Otsuka used CF for clinical practice and education during the revival stage of Kampo medicine in the Showa era ; moreover, CF had a large effect on structuring the foundation of clinical application by formulating Kampo extracts for prescriptions. Thus, CF has played an important role in Kampo medicine. However, the research has been stopped in the present circumstances of Japan. We focus here on CF of the Koho school in Edo and Showa eras, and carried out considerations of CF to establish one of the characteristics of Kampo medicine that places importance on Shang Han Za Bing Lun.

Warm cough is common in clinical practice. This article summarized the medical cases of warm cough after cold, chronic bronchitis and interstitial lung disease treated by Qinxing Shigan Decoction combined with Lianqin Zhidanshao Decoction, and discussed the syndrome characteristics.

In terms of drugs' concerted application regulation,this article studies usage of drugs in different prescriptions in ZHANG Zhong-jing's Treatise on Cold Pathogenic Diseases and Synopsis of Golden Chamber,and summarizes various drugs' concerted application as follows: First,composite of mutual promotion between two drugs in similar properties;Second,composite of several drugs in same flavour;Third,composite of fusion of flavors and drugs;Fourth,composite of drugs available in same nature;Fifth,composite of drugs in cold and hot nature;Sixth,composite of tonic and laxative;Seventh,composite of the use of mutual assistance between drugs in different properties;Last,composite of change of drugs according to different syndromes.Also,the article,integrating with Zhong-jing's prescriptions,discusses the different concerted apllication above in detail.
