ABSTRACT

Classical Representative Famous Prescription is the valuable cultural heritage of Chinese medicine. In November 2018,the State Council issued the " Intensive Implementation of the National Intellectual Property Strategy in 2018 to Accelerate the Construction of IP Strong Country",explicitly proposing to strengthen the intellectual property protection of Classical Representative Famous Prescription.How about the current situation of intellectual property protection of lassical Representative Famous Prescription in China? We selected Liuwei Dihuang Pills,Shengmai Powder and Guizhi Fuling Pills( three representative drugs on market) from Chinese Pharmacopoeia2015 Volume I issued by Chinese Pharmacopoeia Commission to analyze their patent layout,reflecting its status quo of patent protection as follows: first,in recent years,the number of related patent applications for Classical Representative Famous Prescriptions has declined,which was positively correlated with the drug registration and approval policies in recent years,but the policy dividend has not been reflected in the patent application,which may be related to the long period of pharmaceutical R&D; secondly,the patent applicant in the field of Chinese medicine is mainly based on individuals,but the applicant of Classical Representative Famous Prescription is mainly of enterprises,and in addition,the company applicants have the highest authorization rate; thirdly,the main technologies are to improve preparation method and the dosage form in the research and development of Classical Representative Famous Prescription,but these two types of authorized patents have much difficulty in further application on the market. Therefore,the innovative entities shall look for a new breakthrough in secondary development and utilization of Classical Representative Famous Prescriptions.

ABSTRACT

Shengmai powder, as the most famous decoration of invigorating qi and Yin in Chinese Medicine, has the function of cardiac effects and restoring pulse. It is mainly used to prevent and treat cardiovascular disease in the clinic, and has obvious curative effect. Shengmai powder, could applied in diseases of the neuropsychiatric system as the same, according to the TCM basic theory which is"heart has the function of controlling spirit, consciousness and thinking", while few researches can be found sporadically. The related literature during late 20 years were collected, selected, combed and commented from two aspects of clinical application and ex-perimental pharmacology in order to offer a reference for expanding application of Shengmai powder in neuropsychiatric disease as while. The clinical reports indicated that Shengmai powder, its modified formulas or combination with western-medicine may have effects on many neuropsychic diseases, such as major depressive disorder( MDD) , cerebral apoplexy, Alzheimer disease( AD) , hyperkinetic syndrome of childhood , sudden deafness( SD) , peripheral nerve disease( PN) , neurological dysfunction and so on. It may also reduce toxic and side effects of antipsychotics. Pharmacology experiments results showed that Shengmai powder has lots of functions, for in-stance, Anti-psychology stress, lipid-decreasing, and improving blood rheology and cerebral functions. It provides pharmacological ref-erence on the prevention and treatment in neuropsychic disease applied by Shengmai powder.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for simultaneous determination for ginsenoside Rb1,ginsenosides Rc,ginsen-osides Rb2 and ginsenosides Rd in Shengmai powder. METHODS:HPLC was performed on the column of Agilent ZORBAX Ex-tend-C18 with mobile phase of acetonitrile-0.1% formic acid(gradient elution) at a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min,wavelength was 203 nm,column temperature was 30 ℃ and the volume injection was 10 ml. RESULTS:The linear was 0.78-38.75 μg for ginsenoside Rb1(r=0.9996),0.51-25.50 μg for ginsenosides Rc(r=0.9996),0.43-21.50 μg for ginsenosides Rb2(r=0.9997)and 0.20-10.00 μg for ginsenosides Rd(r=0.9997);RSDs of precision,stability and reproducibility tests were lower than 2%;recoveries were 96.6%-101.2%(RSD=1.6%,n=6),97.0%-102.1%(RSD=1.7%,n=6),99.1%-102.8%(RSD=1.3%,n=6)and 96.3%-101.1%(RSD=1.6%,n=6). CONCLUSIONS:The method is simple,rapid with good stability,reproducibility and high precision,and can be used for quality control of Shengmai powder.

In this experiment,the bone marrow cell of C_(57) species of purity rat is used as a material and the micronucleus is used as an index,the prescriptions of Shengmai Powder,etc.were continuesly studied under the basis of some tonic prescription study.The result indicated the Shengmai Powder showed the inhibition on micronueleus induced by cyclophosphamide.

ABSTRACT

AIM: To investigate the CE fingerprint of the compound Shengmai Powder(Radix et Rhizoma Ginseng rubra,Radix Ophiopogonis,Fructus Schisandrae chinensis). METHODS: Sequential uniform design was used to optimize the separation conditions. A CE fingerprint for Shengmai Powder was established using buffer comprising 44 mmol/L borate and 34 mmol/L SDS at pH 9. 5,a running voltage of 25 kV,a capillary temperature of 25 ?C and a wavelength of 200 nm. The sample was injected at a pressure of 50 mbar for 100 s. RESULTS: From the fingerprints of eleven batches of sample solutions,twenty main common peaks were determined. four peaks came from Radix et Rhizoma Ginseng,six peaks from Radix Ophiopogonis,thirteen peaks from Fructus Schisandrae chinensis,three peaks shared by Radix et Rhizoma Ginseng and Radix Ophiopogonis,one peak shared by Radix Ophiopogonis and Fructus Schisandrae chinensis and one new constituent. CONCLUSION: The developed method is accurate and reliable,and the fingerprint analysis can be used for the quality assessment and control of compound Shengmai Powder.
