ABSTRACT
O ensaio visa recuperar algumas indicações ontológicas sobre a estrutura sincrética do Serviço Social, tal como formulada por José Paulo Netto no início da década de 1990, para problematizar o significado social, para a profissão, de determinadas tendências inscritas na atual dinâmica econômica e política do Brasil. Procura fundamentar a atualidade e o vigor teórico da "tese do sincretismo" para analisar os dilemas contemporâneos do Serviço Social brasileiro.
This article aims at recovering some ontological indications about the syncretic structure of Social Work, as it was formulated by José Paulo Netto in the beginning of the 1950's, in order to question the social significance of some tendencies in the current economic and political Brazilian dynamics for the profession. It seeks to base the effective value and the technical vigour of the "thesis of syncretism" to analyze the contemporary dilemmas of the Brazilian Social Work.
ABSTRACT
O trabalho tem como objetivo descrever e analisar a Congada como um elemento sincrético que possibilita a relação do corpo construção social com o sagrado e o profano. Para tanto se desenvolveu uma etnografia, tendo-se como caso estudado a Congada Irmandade de Nossa Senhora do Rosário. Os resultados apontam quehá nesta manifestação um sistema ritual que se constitui com base em elementos transcendentais, sendo a maneira encontrada pelo grupo para estabelecer a relação com o sagrado, representando sua identidade cultural afrodescendente em um contexto sociocultural moderno, como é o caso de Brasília.
This paper has the aim to describe and analyze the Congada manifestation as an element of syncretism that enables the relationship among the body, as a social construction, the sacred and the profane. For that purpose, I developed an ethnography for studying this manifestation of the Congada Irmandade Nossa Senhora do Rosário. The results show that there is, in this manifestation, a ritual systemgrounded on transcendental elements, which the group used to establish a relation with the body as sacred, representing its afrodescendingcultural identity in the social context of a modern city such as Brasília.
