Resumo: O texto reconstitui a história e memória no III Congresso Brasileiro de Assistentes Sociais, identificado como "Congresso da Virada". No atual contexto de crise, desigualdades e resistências são apresentados desafios na preservação de conquistas do Serviço Social no país nos últimos quarenta anos.

Abstract: The text reconstructs the history and memory in the III Brazilian Congress of Social Workers, identified as "Virada Congress". In the current context of crisis, inequalities and resistance are presented challenges in the preservation of achievements of Social Service in the country in the last 40 years.

A formação acadêmico-profissional em Serviço Social: uma experiência em construção na América Latina / Academic-professional education in social work: an experience in construction in Latin America

Resumo: O texto refere-se ao pronunciamento efetuado na premiação Katherine Kendall, da Associação Internacional de Escolas de Serviço Social, durante a conferência mundial Serviço Social, Educação e Desenvolvimento Social (SWSD) 2018, em Dublin, Irlanda, em julho de 2018. Aborda a educação em Serviço Social na América Latina, trata as desigualdades, pobreza e lutas que desafiam o Serviço Social na região e apresenta a experiência brasileira.

Abstract: The text refers to the statement made at the Katherine Kendall award of the International Association of Social Work Schools, during the Social Work Education and Social Development Conference, (SWSD) 2018 in Dublin, Ireland, in July 2018. It addresses to Education in Social Work in Latin America, coping with inequality, poverty and struggles that challenges Social Work in the region besides presenting the Brazilian experience.

A pós-graduação e a pesquisa no Serviço Social latino-americano: uma primeira aproximação / Postgraduation and research in the Latin American Social Services: a preliminary approach

O artigo visa apresentar a sistematização dos dados sobre pós-graduação e pesquisa nos países hispano-americanos, a partir de documentos apresentados em dois eventos latino-americanos de pós-graduação. O objetivo é estimular a articulação, os convênios e o intercâmbio entre as unidades de ensino brasileiras e as dos demais países do subcontinente latino-americano.

This article presents the systematization of data on postgraduation and research in Spanish American countries Such systematization was done from documents submitted in two Latin American postgraduation events. The goal is to stimulate the joint ventures, the agreements and the exchanges among Brazilian and other Latin American colleges.
