ABSTRACT

Objective To discuss the developing law of pathogeny and mechanism of chronic hepatitis type B.Methods Patients of chronic hepatitis type B,early hepatocirrhosis and ascites caused by hepatocirrhosis was chosen as objects and clinical information was collected face to face.Patterns of Chinese medicine were confirmed and counted seperately according to efficiency, deficiency and efficiency-deficiency sydrome, harmed Zang-Fu organs and syndrome factors. Finally, the developing law of pathogeny and mechanism was analyzed. Results As the state of chronic hepatitis type Bevolving, simple efficiency and deficiency sydrome decrease with efficiency-deficiency sydrome increasing.Zang-Fu organs damaged by chronic hepatitis type B including mostly liver, gallblader, spleen, stomach, kidney,Trijiao and so on,among which spleen and liver are mainly damaged. As the state of chronic hepatitis type B evolving, the frequencies of damage to gallblader, spleen, stomach, kidney,Trijiao and so on increase. Most simple chronic hepatitis type B cases are due to Shi,Shi-Re,efficiency and stasis of Qi,while most of early hepatocirrhosis stem from Shi-Re,extravasated blood, efficiency and stasis of Qi,with that of ascites caused by hepatocirrhosis originating from Shi-Re,extravasated blood,Shui, efficiency of Qi and Yin. Conclusion There is developing law in the character, location and syndrome factors of chronic hepatitis type B.

ABSTRACT

Objective :To explore the relationship of Chinese medicine syndrome factors and changes of intracranial blood flow of hypertension patients, as well as the distribution characteristics of hierarchical syndrome factors of hypertension and its impact on the course of hypertension. Methods: Syndrome elements of 312 cases of hypertensive patients with abnormal results detected by transcranial Doppler ultrasound (TCD) were refi ned, and the correlation analysis was used to study the relationship between the elements syndrome, intracranial blood flow and risk-stratifi cation hypertension patients. Results: There was obvious statistic difference of intracranial blood flow velocity between low-risk group and high-risk group (P

ABSTRACT

Syndrome factors and their combinations based on syndromes are the important links of construction of syndrome differentiation system,in which the theory of prescriptions corresponding to syndromes plays a key role. The basic requirements of good clinical eff icacy are'syndrome factors'seen as the basic connotation of'syndromes'in prescriptions corresponding to syndromes, keeping the compatibility of effect classical prescriptions, emphasizing further detailed formula indication and dynamic evolution, and increasing the conformity of prescription and syndrome. These are also the basis of construction of syndrome differentiation system.Method of evidence-based medicine should be used for reference in clinical research design, and reverse thinking of conjecturing syndrome based on prescription be used for guidance in the constructing process.

ABSTRACT

The formula-factors concept was put forwarded in this article on account of the syndrome-factors theory. While the prescription compatibility principles "correspondence between syndrome and formula factors" was deduced form the differentiation of syndrome and treatment principles "correspondence between syndrome and formula". Founding on these concepts, the relation between "correspondence between syndrome and formula factors" and "principal, adjuvant, auxiliary and conductant ingredirnts" was approached on the prescription compatibility. And the result was that both compatibility principles above were interweaving associated for their supplementing each other. This conclusion was significative to the prescription compatibility theory as well as TCM clinical practice.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To study the distribution, combination law of syndrome factors and characteristics of base syndromes of pneumonia based on document data. Methods: Combined methods of computer retrieval and man-made retrieval were adopted, the document data from 1981 to 2004 on lower respiratory tract infection was gathered by way of document database index. And the data was analyzed by description,Logistic regression and clustering analysis. Results: 32 documents and 141 items were used for analysis. The results indicated that among the 17 syndrome factors related to syndrome differentiation of pneumonia, the highest frequency of location syndrome factor was lung;the frequency of f ire, heat and yin-def iciency was higher;pathogenic wind, pathogenic heat and phlegm were the main etiological factors. In the document study, there were four patterns in the combinative model of syndrome factors, the combination of two syndrome factors and the combination of three syndrome factors were the main patterns, the cumulative percentage was 95.7%.Meanwhile,the main symptoms and the sub-symptoms of the mainly syndromes were screened out by adopting statistical description, logistic regression and clustering analysis. Conclusion: The main syndrome types and their inscapes of pneumonia can provide enough references for the next step research.
