ABSTRACT

Objective To design and develop an intelligent material cabinet system in the department to execute informatized management of auto replenishment, quality safety and statistical query. Methods The intelligent material cabinet system had the functions of auto replenishment after inventory prewarning, recalling material record after login of an authorized user, and quality control of enterprise qualification and expiration prewarning.Mircosoft.Net technology framework,C/S architecture design and MS SQL Server database were involved in to develop the system, which was composed of a weighing cell,an electronic display screen,a material tray,an intelligent material cabinet and etc.The cabinet system had uniprocessor and network versions, and realized medical material fine management based on the hospital intranet. Results The cabinet system contributed to standardized operation,high-efficiency transport and quality safety. Conclusion The cabinet system behaves well in standardized, streamlined and informatized medical material management, and thus is worthy promoting practically.

ABSTRACT

BACKGROUND: Medical laboratories play a central role in health care. Many laboratories are taking a more focused and stringent approach to quality system management. In Korea, laboratory standardization efforts undertaken by the Korean Laboratory Accreditation Program (KLAP) and the Korean External Quality Assessment Scheme (KEQAS) may have facilitated an improvement in laboratory performance, but there are no fundamental studies demonstrating that laboratory standardization is effective. We analyzed the results of the KEQAS to identify significant differences between laboratories with or without KLAP and to determine the impact of laboratory standardization on the accuracy of diagnostic tests. METHODS: We analyzed KEQAS participant data on clinical chemistry tests such as albumin, ALT, AST, and glucose from 2010 to 2013. As a statistical parameter to assess performance bias between laboratories, we compared 4-yr variance index score (VIS) between the two groups with or without KLAP. RESULTS: Compared with the group without KLAP, the group with KLAP exhibited significantly lower geometric means of 4-yr VIS for all clinical chemistry tests (P<0.0001); this difference justified a high level of confidence in standardized services provided by accredited laboratories. Confidence intervals for the mean of each test in the two groups (accredited and non-accredited) did not overlap, suggesting that the means of the groups are significantly different. CONCLUSIONS: These results confirmed that practice standardization is strongly associated with the accuracy of test results. Our study emphasizes the necessity of establishing a system for standardization of diagnostic testing.

ABSTRACT

Objective It is a tough job to rescue batches of patients with severe blast injury .The article aimed to construct specific technique system management in the rescue of batches of patients with severe blast injury and evaluate its effects . Methods Retrospective analysis was made on 9 patients with severe blast injury who hospitalized simultaneously .According to the difficulties in the nursing process of treating severe blast injury such as management of respiratory tract , continuous renal replacement therapy , vascular access, nutritional supply, skin nursing, etc, specific technique system management was constructed to evaluate technical support key points at different phases , including personalized nursing scheme with disease progression , professional nursing instruction on key points of different phases from specialists as well as corresponding nursing decision and professional caring . Results Specific technique system management was applied in these 9 patients with severe blast injury .Only 1 patients developed ventilator related pneumonia when receiving mechanical ventilation and no procedure related complications occurred in the aspects of blood purification , skin management , vascular access and nutrition support .6 patients discharged from hospital after recovery . Conclusion Specific techniques and systemic management in batch treatment of severe bast injury patients could help collaborative nursing , improve the management of specific management and prevent complication .

ABSTRACT

This study aims to discuss the work of Eros and Thanatos in the context of social regulation, where the organizational social responsibility is commonly identified as being a management system capable of minimizing the negative effects of capitalism. The fieldwork indicated a fallacy between discourse and practices of responsibility. Qualitative data from three organizations were used and categorized based on the logic of social representations. It has been identified that the organizational social responsibility is in the service of Eros, being a possible way to beat the anguish of organizational death. However, that model is vulnerable to the work of Thanatos. It has been concluded that the perception of the work of death that is noticeable in the institutional dynamics may favor its confrontation and also find ways out to the necrosis in the social tissue which work organizations are also part.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the effect of information system management mode intervention on quality of life in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients. Methods There were 40 SLE patients after hospitalization and the patients condition were under control. But they still needed outpatient treatment. In our study, when they joined the investigation group, the medical outcomes study 36-item short-form health survey (MOS SF-36) scale was used for measuring the quality of life. All patients would receive a baseline questionnaire evaluation before observation and endpoint evaluation after one year. The SF-36scores of all the patients were investigated and analyzed. Results One year later, the SF-36 scores of the patients indicated that the scores of patients' physiological role functioning, general health, social role functioning, emotional role functioning, mental health improved with statistical significance. The scores of patients' physical functioning, physical pain, and vitality had no statistical significance compared with those one year before. Conclusions Information system management mode can provide long-term,systematic and effective management for the SLE patients. It can improve the level of mental health and quality of life for SLE patients.

ABSTRACT

In light of the spread and establishment of hospital information systems in the Shanghai area, the paper argues that government departments in charge ought to start in good time research on digitalized hospitals so as to better standardize how hospitals should promote in an active and steady manner a new round of development of hospital information systems. It also gives a detailed account of the content and methods of research on digitalized hospitals as well as development strategies in Shanghai.
