ABSTRACT

Objective To analyze the degree of pain, dysfunction and recovery of patients with systemic fractures treated by screw fixation. Methods The clinical data of 96 patients with pelvic fractures who had been diagnosed and treated in the Hospital between January 2017 and January 2018 were analyzed. All cases were treated by screw fixation, and according to the random number table, these patients were divided into two groups: the 48 patients given routine nursing were taken as the control group, whereas the other 48 given systematic nursing were included in the study group. The pain intensity, dysfunction and recovery of patients in the two groups were compared. Results The proportions of patients with severe pain and moderate pain were respectively 0 and 18.75% (9/48) in the study group, both lower than the control group, which were respectively 27.08% (13/48) and 41.67% (20/48) ( χ2=15.036 1, 5.978 4,P<0.05), and the proportions of patients with mild pain and without pain were 52.08% (25/48) and 29.17% (14/48) in the study group, both higher than the control group, which were respectively 31.25% (15/48) and 0 (χ2=4.285 7, 16.390 2, P<0.05). The total Oswestry Dability Index (ODI) score was (20.30±2.22) points, lower than that in the control group, which was (40.42±2.40) and the time for fracture healing, time for lying in bed and length of hospital stay in the study group were (57.20± 11.11) d and (4.30±1.20)d both shown to be shorter than the control group (69.70±13.60) d, (8.41±1.39) d (t=42.637 6, 4.931 5, 15.506 4,P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the study group was 4.17% (2/48), lower than 20.83% (10/48) in the control group ( χ2=6.095 2,P<0.05). Conclusion For patients with pelvic fractures treated by screw fixation, systematic nursing can relieve their pains, reduce dysfunction and boost their recovery, and yet incur fewer complications.

ABSTRACT

Objective To probe into the effect of systematic nursing model on treatment compliance and clinical efficacy of elderly patients with diabetes. Methods 100 elderly patients with diabetes in our hospital were selected from January 2008 to December 2010.The patients were divided into the study group and the control group randomly,50 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were treated with conventional care model, while the patients in the study group were treated with systematic nursing model. The compliance, clinical treatment effect, and improvement of clinical indicators were compared and ana lyzed in two groups respectively. Results Compared with the control group, treatment compliance indexes such as self-monitoring,diet control, medication compliance, exercise therapy in the study group were significantly improved, the difference was statistically significant.Compared with the control group, the clinical efficacy of patients in the study group was significantly improved.Compared with the control group, the FBG,PBG and HbAlc were improved significantly, the difference was statistically significant. Conclusions Systematic nursing model plays a positive role in promoting treatment compliance and clinical effects of elderly patients with diabetes mellitus. The interventions need to be further enriched and perfected.

ABSTRACT

Objective To discuss the influence of systematic nursing on cancer related fatigue and life quality of patients with breast cancer during perioperative period. Methods 197 patients in our hospital with breast cancer were randomly divided into the experimental group (99 cases)and the control group (98 cases)from November 2010 to December 2011.The experimental group was given systematic nursing method and the control group received traditional nursing. After treatment, the influence of nursing intervention on cancer related fatigue and QOL were compared between two groups. Results The score of QOL was(92.1±1.6)after nursing in the experimental group, higher than before systematic nursing and the control group. The severity of cancer related fatigue in the experimental group was apparently lower than before nursing intervention and that in the control group. There was significant difference. Conclusions The systematic nursing can reduce the level of perioperative cancer related fatigue and improve the life quality for the patients with breast cancer,so it can be widely used in clinic.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the influence of nursing intervention on perioperative psychological status and treatment compliance of patients undergoing breast augmentation. Methods 82 patients were investigated with self-rating anxiety scale (SAS), self-rating depression scale (SDS), self-designed mental activity questionnaire on patients with breast augmentation. And they were divided into the intervention group(42 patients) and the control group(40 patients) randomly. The control group was given routine treatment and nursing. The intervention group received systematic nursing intervention such as psychological needs, confidentiality, the relevant specialist knowledge and explanation and prevention o complications besides routine treatment and nursing care. The perioperative psychological status and treatment efficacy were compared between the two groups. Results The worrying degree about operation - related problems was lower in the intervention group compared with that of the control group, but SAS and SDS score showed no significant difference one day before operation between the two groups. SAS and SDS score of the intervention group were improved before discharge compared with those before operation and were also better than those of the control group. Conclusions Patients undergoing breast augmentation surgery subject to a variety of perioperative psychological barriers, systematic nursing intervention can significantly improve the psychological state and treatment compliance, make them to acquire the unification of perfect body shape and psychology with best physical and mental status during perioperative stage.
