ABSTRACT

Heilongjiang Province has unique geographical environment, which makes the difference in population morbidity. This paper summarizes the physiological and pathological characteristics of stroke in Longjiang area from the regional factors and dietary factors. The paper also summarizes the treatment thoughts of acupuncture and moxibustion doctors in Longjiang area, mainly including five aspects: Knowing all diseases but treating the essence one, combining theory and practice, combining Chinese and western medicine, combining acupuncture and Chinese medicine, preventing diseases through learning and observing tiny clues. This article aims to summarize the experience of Longjiang acupuncture scholars and enriches the medical connotation of Longjiang area.

ABSTRACT

This paper summarizes the academic characteristics, main treatment methods and manipulation characteristics of the sixpediatricmassage schools, including Sun Chongsan massage school, Zhang Hanchen massage school, pediatric chiropractic massage school, Shanghai pediatric massage school and Liu Kaiyun massage school, and introduces the ideas and methods of each school in the treatment of infantile anorexia. Forchildren’s anorexia, massage has various methods, but is reliable curative effect, simple and safe operation. At present, there are more experience summary literature and case reports, but few RCT with multi center or large sample. The research on the mechanism of massage is few. The academic ideas, syndrome differentiation methods and massage methods of various schools showed different, so it was difficult to establish a unified standard guide. Therefore, on the basis of inheriting the academic characteristics of various schools, we should further promote the establishment of a modern clinical pediatric massage system and clarify its mechanism.

ABSTRACT

Objective The characteristics of prescription medication for constipation in Wumen doctors in Ming and Qing Dynasties were analyzed by data mining method, so as to provide reference for the treatment of contemporary clinical constipation. Methods The Wumen medical school doctors in Ming and Qing Dynasties treating constipation in clinical case were selected for digital acquisition and process. The association rules and complex networks analysis were used for data mining in order to explore experience of famous doctors in Wumen medical treated constipation. Results A total of 202 cases records of constipation were collected from acient TCM books by the database of ancient books and literatures of library of Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The results showed that the highest syndromes of 202 prescriptions was Qi stagnation and yin deficiency, followed by damp-heat, blood deficiency and liver-stomach disharmony, and the top ten medicines for internal use were angelica, almond, arborvitae, flaxseed, pinellia, cistanche, dried rehamnnia root, radix paeoniae alba, rhubarb, poria, licorice, etc. The core medicine in pairs included the Platycodon grandiflorum-almonds, safflower-peach kernel, safflower-angelica and other drugs outside, carthami-semen pruni-Peach kernel, carthami-semen pruni-Angelica, carthami-angelica-peach, peony-rhubarb-magnolia. Conclusions Most of the doctors in the Ming and Qing Dynasties believed that constipation was based on deficiency and reality, took Xinrun Tongluo as its treatment method, and paid attention to the treatment of activating blood circulation, warming yang and regulating qi and resolving phlegm, and emphasized the relationship between constipation and lung, spleen, liver and kidney.

This paper tried to explore the method of excavation and sorting for local cultural knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine by confirming the research content, setting the eligibility, designing the research method, and implementing the research plan. We pointed out that the trial design, working style, policy support and funding support played an important role for the success of researches.

ABSTRACT

LU’s acupuncture therapy is one of the representatives of Shanghai schools of traditional Chinese medicine, and has been indexed by Shanghai Intangible Cultural Heritage List and National Intangible Cultural Heritage List, making a profound influence. From the perspectives of its origin, main academic theories, and inheriting study basements of LU’s acupuncture school, this article elucidated and studied LU’s acupuncture therapy, for further promoting LU’s acupuncture school and reviving acupuncture schools of Shanghai region.
