ABSTRACT

Objective:This paper aims to analyze the status of academic loyalty for authors of the nursing Sci-Tech periodicals, and to explore the corresponding training strategies.Methods:Academic loyalty for authors of the nursing Sci-Tech periodicals was surveyed by general information questionnaire and academic loyalty scale.The survey was conducted both online and onsite.Results:The score index of academic loyalty for authors of the nursing Sci-Tech periodicals is 79.43%, and the total score is 43.13±7.47.The scoring indicators of academic loyalty scale from low to high are academic ideal, academic effort and academic identity.Conclusions:The academic loyalty for authors of the nursing Sci-Tech periodicals is at a higher medium level. In order to improve the academic loyalty, we should establish scientific academic core values, respect academic ethics and norms, actively participate in academic activities, strengthen on-going professional knowledge learning, being accountable and responsible, nurture and cultivate academic spirit.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the training expectations and training strategies of orthopedic clinical specialist nurses (OCSN).Methods Totally 5 020 orthopedic nurses from 342 hospitals from 30 provinces and cities were selected bv convenience sampling.Participants were investigated hy WeChat platform with self-designed questionnaire.Results A total of 4 982 effective questionnaires were collected.Among investigated nurses,13.7% of them received orthopedic specialist nurses training;91.4% believed that training should be carried out.Qualifications should be:college degree and above,senior nurse and above,at least 3 ~5 years of nursing experience,1~3 years of nursing experience in orthopedic department.For curriculum,public courses expected to be arranged were communieation skills,nursing teaching,nursing management,and nursing research;expected professional courses were functional exercises,pain management,extremity injury nursing,common treatment techniques in orthopedic department,traction nursing,and position nursing.It was suggested that training was divided into subspecialties and off-duty;classroom teaching,teaching rounds,case discussion and experience exchange were expected training methods;"theory-practice-theory-practice" was most preferable traiuing mode.The preferred teachers were orthopedic doctors,orthopedic head nurses,orthopedic specialist nurses,and senior orthopedic nurses.The length of training was expected to be three months,time for clinical practice should be greater than or equal to theoretical teaching,and the practice bases should be tertiary hospitals.Evaluation should be performed before completion,recertification could be later than completion,and the interval time of recertification should be within 5 years.Conclusion Training needs of orthopedic nurses for OCSN are strong.Training expectations(contents,length,modes and teachers) of orthopedic nurses should be considered when designing systematic training program on OCSN.

ABSTRACT

Este estudo teve como objetivo analisar as características psicométricas da escala "Estratégias para Aplicação no Trabalho do Aprendido em Treinamento" por meio da teoria de resposta ao item. Com um banco de dados secundário composto por 1241 participantes, foram calibrados dezoito itens, por meio do uso do modelo de resposta gradual. Dez itens pertencem à subescala Estratégias Comportamentais e oito à subescala Estratégias Cognitivo-afetivas. Os resultados sugerem que ambas as subescalas apresentaram boa acuracidade nos seus intervalos especialmente válidos, com nível de informação de moderado a alto. O instrumento apresenta evidências de validade de construto adequadas. Pode ser utilizado em pesquisas futuras, notadamente no campo da psicologia organizacional e do trabalho.


This study aimed to analyze the psychometric features of the "Strategies for Implementation at Work of Learning at Training" scale through the Item Response Theory. With a secondary database composed of 1,241 participants, eighteen items were calibrated by using the gradual response model. Ten items belong to the Behavioral Strategies subscale and eight to the Cognitive-affective Strategies subscale. The results suggest good accuracy for both subscales, especially in their valid ranges, with an informational level from moderate to high. The instrument shows appropriate evidence of construct validity. It may be used in future research, especially in the field of organizational and work psychology.

ABSTRACT

The development of international academic exchanges has brought a growing de-mand for college English teaching. English for academic purposes (EAP) is playing an increasingly important role in students' study and research. In this essay, a conclusion of college English curricu-lum in the Third Military Medical University was introduced with the theoretic and practical back-ground of oral English for academic purposes (OEAP) teaching. The training strategies of OEAP abilities were discussed from multi-level teaching, personalized teaching and academic forums. The experience of OEAP training was summarized and reflected through teaching practice.

ABSTRACT

College and university foodservice dietitians have to be competent for playing a role as the future food service executive as well as the present foodservice administrator in the promising foodservice industry field. The study conducted a survey to examine training needs corresponding to educational contents for the purpose of helping them acquire a new knowledge related to self-development and duty through educational training. The results of this study suggested that training needs were differed by general characteristics of dietitians, operational characteristics of food services, and training subjects. A future study should develop systematic training strategies for dietitians.
