ABSTRACT

This capacitive venous transfusion alertor is based on rise time of RC circuit and input capture function of timer in the microcontroller. The measure element of alertor is integrated with circuit board, it has the advantages of simple structure and low cost. Combined with narrow band intent of things(NB-IoT) technology to upload data, it can reduce the workload of medical personnel and caregivers, avoid unnecessary trouble and danger.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the utilization of venous infusion before and after abolishing intravenous infusion of antibacterial drugs in second-class and upwards hospitals in Suzhou.METHODS: The current status of intravenous infusion in second-class and upwards hospitals in Suzhou in 2016 and 2017 was statistically analyzed. With hospital information system, the infusion ratio and top ten infusion drugs in the emergency, out-patients and in-patients were summarized.RESULTS: The infusion ratio was 6.33% in out-patients, 28.85% in emergency, and 83.16% in-patients.CONCLUSION: The ratio of infusion is high in second-class and upwards hospitals in Suzhou, particularly in in-patients. There are many kinds of infusion drugs and the use of high price electrolytes and adjuvant therapy infusion is increasing.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To compare the efficacy and complication in clinical application about the indwelling central venous transfusion port and peripheral venipuncture central vein indwelling catheter. Methods: 80 cases with indwelling central vein transfusion port were arranged to observation group and 80 cases with peripheral venipuncture central vein indwelling catheter were arranged to control group. All of patients were detected for blood routine, blood coagulation time and chest X-ray fluoroscopy routine examination before operation. And to take venipuncture by right subclavicle of patient skin under X-ray fluoroscopy guided, and then indwell catheter. To compare the clinical effect for the two kinds of indwelling catheter method. Results:In observation group, the successful rate was 97.5% (78/80), the average operation time was (51.23±10.21) min; while in control, the successful rate was 78.8% (63/80), the average operation time was (67.42±11.03)min, there were statistical significant difference in successful rate (x2=13.44,P<0.05) and average operation time (t=9.63,P<0.05) between observation and control group. In observation group, the rate of complications occurred was 13.75% (11/80), which was significant lower than 32.5% of control (26/80)(x2=7.91,P<0.05).Conclusion: It is safe and reliable to use the dwelling central venous transfusion port, and the complication of some patients mainly related with nursing skill of paramedic and the proficiency degree of pillbox puncture and using skill in this operation.

ABSTRACT

Objective To evaluate the effects of modified method of fixation and withdrawal of needles in intravenous infusion. Methods The modified method of two-step fixation and withdrawal of needles was adopted in emergency transfusion room of our hospital from September 2013.In January 2015,during every day's low peak period 12:00-14:00,246 emergency transfusion patients were chosen and divided into the traditional group (122 cases, using three-step fixation and withdrawal of needles) and the modified group (124 cases, using two-step fixation and withdrawal of needles) according to transfusion order. The pain degree caused by withdrawal of needles using Numeric Rating Scale (NRS),time consumption of fixation and withdrawal of needles and rate of adhesive pastes abscission was assessed by nurses and compared between two groups. Results The incidence of pain in the modified group was lower than that of the traditional group [48.39% (60/124) vs.81.97% (100/122)],x2=30.49,P<0.05.The time consumption of fixation and withdrawal of needles in the modified group was shorter than that of the control group [(7.55 ±2.01) seconds vs.(10.88 ±2.72) seconds;(2.44 ±0.84) seconds vs.(11.55 ± 4.62) seconds],Z=8.70,13.55,P<0.05.Therate of adhesive pastes abscission in the modified group was lower than that of the control group [4.0%(5/124) vs.18.9% (23/122)],x2 =13.39,P<0.05.All the difference between two groups was statistically significant. Conclusions The modified method of fixation and withdrawal of needles can relieve the pain caused by withdrawal of needles.Nurses can operate easily, adhesive pastes is fixed sturdily, which is popular among nurses and patients.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore effect of two methods for treating extravasation of venous indwelling needles. Methods A total of 96 patients with extravasation at transfusion were randomly divided into experiment and control groups with 48 cases in each group. Magnesium sulfate wet packing was used in the control group and external application of potato chips in the experiment group. The two groups were compared in terms of time for curative effect to occur and time for recovery.Result The time for curative effect to occur and time for recovery in the experiment group were both significantly shorter than those of the control group. Conclusion External application of potato chips is effective in reducing extravasation during venous transfusion. It is simple and free from side effects.

ABSTRACT

Objective To probe into the clinic effect of folded infusion tube which can produce negative pressure on increasing the success rate of infants' scalp venepuncture. Methods 200 infant patients were divided into the control group and the observation group with 100 cases in each group. The control group used routine venepuncture method, while folded infusion tubes are used in the obser-ration group. The end of infusion tubes were folded by 0.5 cm and clamped well. When the needle has been punctured under an infant patient's scalp, the clamp could be loosed so that there was a little neg-ative pressure in the tube. Then the situation of natural revehent blood and success rate of scalp venepuncture were observed in the two groups. Results Rate of natural revehent blood in the control group was 72%, and success rate of scalp venepuncture was 87%. Rate of natural revehent blood in the observation group was 97%, and success rate of scalp venepuncture was 97%. Rate of natural revehent blood and success rate of scalp venepuncture in the observation group were both higher than those of the control group. Conclusions Folded infusion tube can immediately judge whether the needle is punctured inside the blood vessel and effectively increase the success rate of scalp venepuncture.

ABSTRACT

Objective Method To clear the influence of pressing point and the pressing time on the incidence rate of ecchymoma. Methods Divided 304 patients into observation group and the control group randomly, the traditional pressing method was used in the control group and the extended pressing method was used in the observation group. Results Conclusion The effective rates of pressing in the observation group and the control group were 98% and 85% respectively. The incidence rate of ecchymoma in observation group was 1.97%, which was significant lower than that of in control group. The extended pressing method can effective decrease the incidence rate of ecchymoma.

ABSTRACT

Fetal erythroblastosis caused by maternal Rhesus alloimmunization brings a significant clinical problem, eventually leading to fetal hydrops and intrauterine fetal death. Repeated blood transfusions into the umbilical vein are the treatment of choice for fetal erythroblastosis with severe hydrops. The purpose of this report is to introduce our experience with a case of fetal erythroblastosis, recovered after intraumbilical venous transfusions. The fetus has been received the intraumbilical venous transfusions for four times from 29 weeks of gestation. Fetal hydrops and cardiomegaly, as well as polyhydramnios were improved markedly after transfusions. A healthy baby was delivered at 34 weeks of gestation. Intraumbilical venous transfusion may be a safe and effective treatment on the case with severe aggressive anemic and hydropic isoimmune fetus.
