ABSTRACT

Objective To evaluate the situation of blood concentration detection in Zunyi city by the way of analyzing the practice of blood concentration detection for the past 4 years .Methods The bood samples of 194 928 persons who were voluntary blood donators since full implementation of centralized blood test from February 2011 to December 2014 were analysed .Results The unqualified rates of the 5 detection indicators from the seven blood center banks were closed to the centre blood station ,which was rang from 3 .15% to 4 .85% ,the total unqualified rate was 3 .72% and no significant difference was found(P> 0 .05) .Since the concentration of blood detection ,blood donators in the 7 blood center blood banks increased year by year .Conclusion Blood concen-tration detection improves the blood test quality in this single region ,and promotes the development of blood donation career .

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the relativity between c.553G/T polymorphism in exon 4 of Apolipoprotein A5 gene and hypertriglyceridemia (HTG) in Zunyi Han Nationality. Methods c.553G/T polymorphism of 103 HTG patients and 165 healthy individuals were tested by polymerase chain reaction and restriction fragment length (PCR-RFLP) assay. The distributions of genotypes and allele frequencies in HTG patients and healthy group were analyzed between Zunyi population and others. Results The genotype frequency of the Apo A5 gene c.553G/T showed statistical difference between patients group and normal groups (P 0.05). In HTG groups, gene frequency of Zunyi was similar to that in Jiangsu (P>0.05), but higher than that in Xinjiang (P 0.05). Conclusion There is relativity between Apo A5 gene c.553G/T polymorphisms and HTG in Zunyi Han nationality and the differences vary across different areas. It could be an independent risk factor for HTG.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To investigate frequencies and polymorphism of HLA-DRB1 and DQB1 allele in the Hans of Zunyi area. Methods:Polymerase chain reaction-sequence specific primers(PCR-SSP) were used to type HLA-DRB1 and DQB1 genes of 200 unrelated healthy Han individuals in Zunyi area.Results:13 HLA-DRB1 and 7 HLA-DQB1 alleles were obtained at low resolution level in all subjects. The allele DRB1*09,DRB1*08 and DQB1*05 were showed high distributing frequencies; The allele DRB1*10 and DQB1*04 were scarcely found with low distributing frequencies.Comparied with Northern and Southern Han people,it would seem that Han people in Zunyi are more closely related to the Southern ones. The allele B*07 was scarcely found in the Southern Han with a high distributing frequency(GF=2.0%).Conclusion:HLA-DRB1 and DQB1 of Han people in Zunyi have plenty of polymorphisms. They seem to distribute in line with the Southern Han's characteristics but have their own territory feature with a high B*07 frequency.
