ABSTRACT

Objective To discussion and analysis of the significance of semen and serum anti‐sperm antibodies in the test in male infertility. Methods 95casesofinfertilemalepatientsassubjectsinthisstudyfromJune2012toMay2014tocometoourhospi‐tal ,others choose to our hospital after medical investigation and no normal healthy male infertility 30 cases as controls group ,meas‐ured in blood and semen of anti‐sperm antibodies content and semen examination ,analysis and comparison .Results Semen of pa‐tients in the observation group sperm viability ,semen liquefaction time and a + b grade sperm motility percentages were lower than in the control group healthy men ,the two groups was statistically significant (P<0 .05) .Sperm viability ,semen liquefaction time and a + b grade sperm motility percentage of patients AsAb positive group were lower than AsAb tested negative for infertile pa‐tients ,the two groups was statistically significant(P<0 .05) .Patients in the observation group IL‐2 ,IL‐6 ,and the content of TNF‐αcompared with the healthy control group of men increased significantly between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0 .05) .AsAb positive serum IL‐2 group ,and IL‐6 levels and AsAb negative groups are similar ,but TNF‐αcontent than AsAb tested negative patients was significantly increased ,the two groups was statistically significant (P<0 .05) .Conclusion Anti‐sperm anti‐bodies in the blood and semen parameters have some relevance ,semen and blood detection of anti‐sperm antibodies can be used as a means of diagnosis of infertility patients ,it is worth widely recommended .

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the association between human papilloma virus(HPV)infection and antisperm antibodies(As-Ab)in male infertile patients in Xinjiang area. Methods A total of 127 cases of infertile male patients were selected as experimental group, other 130 cases of normal male were enrolled in the control group.HPV sperm infection was detected by using reverse dot blot hybridization kit.The levels of AsAbs in semen specimen were measured by using the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).Results The infection rate of male infertile patients(67.7%)was higher than that of normal male(1 6.2%),with signifi-cant differences(P <0.05).The positive rate of AsAb of male infertile patients with HPV infection(38.4%)was higher than that of male infertile patients without HPV infection(1 7.1%),with significant differences(P <0.05).Compared with male infertile pa-tients without HPV infection, the percentages of sperm motility and grade (a+b)sperm motility were decreased in male infertile pa-tients with HPV infection, wihile the sperm malformation rate was increased in male infertile patients with HPV infection, with sig-nificant differences(P <0.05).Conclusion The HPV infection rate of male infertile patients is relatively high in this area.HPV sperm infection could be associated with AsAb that may further reduce male fertility.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the prevalence of serum Anti-sperm antibodies(AsAb) in group of prepubertal boys with cryptor-chidism before and after surgery, and explore whether it may be influenced by testicular location, orchiopexy, unilateral or bilateral cryptorchi-dism and deferens and(or) epididymis abnormality. Methods Serum AsAb was examined in 50 prepubertal boys with cryptorchidism and 50 boys with oblique inguinal hernia before and 6 months after surgery.Fifty boys who were normal were served as controls.IgG and IgM AsAb were determined by the immunodotting method. Results The preoperative and post-orchiopexy serum AsAb positive rates in cryptorchid boys were significantly higher than the preoperative and post-high ligation of hernial sac ones respectively in boys with oblique inguinal hernia(Pa0.05).Conclusion Cryptorchidism may induce an autoimmune response against sperm antigen in prepuberty independent of testicular location, orchiopexy, unilateral or bilateral cryptorchidism and deferens and(or) epididymis abnormality.
