ABSTRACT
La bola adiposa de la cara (Bichat) es una muy buena alternativa de relleno para la obturación de fistulas bucosinusales de gran tamaño y aquellas recidivantes a otros tratamientos. Tanto el volumen como la riqueza vascular que presenta y la versatilidad que se obtiene con el colgajo, hace que sea bien tolerada y presente menor tasa de complicaciones. Este trabajo hace la descripción de un caso y una revisión de la literatura.
The buccal fat of the face (Bichat) is a very good alternative filler for sealing large bucosinusales fistulas and those relapsing to other treatments. Both the volume and vascular richness and versatility features you get with the flap, makes it well tolerated and with lower rate of complications. This paper makes a case description and an explicit review of the literature.
